I have emerald version and im trying to trade with my friend who has firered.

But i cant trade is there anything i have to do to be able to trade with him.

And my friend already got the ruby and saphire stone so..

You have to beat the Elite Four in Emerald before you can trade with other versions.

and get the national dex ftw
