Hmm berry Glitch..nope never heard of it, but from what i'm hearin, i'd rather have my internal clock run out, rather than having a corrupted game.

The Berry Glitch is a glitch that occurs after you've been playing R/S for over a year. The clock stops in the game and you can no longer grow berries or do any time-based events like the Trick Master or Pokemon Loto.

In order to fix this you can do the following:

-- Download Jirachi from a Pokemon Colloseum Bonus Disc or the UK/AUS version of Pokemon Channel

--Download the Patch from FR/LG...

First, load Fire Red/Leaf Green up to the Title Screen

Whilst on the Title Screen press Select & B and it will go to a screen asking you if you wish to confirm this action. Press A.

Plug the Link Cables into the 2 Gameboys. The GBA with Fire Red/Leaf Green has to have the player 1 cable port and the GBA with Ruby/Sapphire has to have the Player 2 Cable Port. Press A once this is done.

Turn on the GBA with Ruby/Sapphire on and as soon as it gets to the GameBoy screen, press Start and Select.

The game will detect this and begin transferring the fix. The game is now fixed forever.

This never happened to me before but what IS the "patch".

The "patch" is just the little piece of coding that you can download through FR/LG that fixes up the glitch.

basically the glitch is just a time error. so the patch will just update the time. so it can run forever.

Umm... the internal battery shouldn't have anything to do with the berry glitch...

If the internal battery is dead, then that means that you can't save your game any more.

Well,it says for me the internal battery is dry.The game saves,it's only the clock that does not work.

Your save data is saved in RAM(Random Acess Memory), which unlike ROM(i forget) needs a small amount of power in order to hold a save file. So the games contains a small abttery in order to keep the RAM data on(this is also used to run the clock).

So if the battery is dead you can't save.
