I mentioned this to Ryan awhile back, I forgot what he said but he obviously rejected the idea or we'd have it on the side by now. But I agree, having that to the side is more appealing imo.

I don't know, I like it at the top. I've gotten used to it.

I prefer side. Though it took me awhile to realize what you meant by gray thing(I use Inteveiw)

With it at the top it breaks the flow of threads, not to mention the already ludicrously large signatures do that as well. You're signatures should be smaller than your posts, so for most of you, its too big.
