I have two simple questions to ask:

1.) If a very high-level pokemon (70) uses "Trick" on a wild pokemon and it's a OHKO, will I get their held item?
2.) Do I have to be holding an item because the description says it "Trades held-items".

If you don't know the answer, it's ok.

That's a matter that would have to be tested, but since my game was stolen, all I can say is, how in the heck is Trick an OHKO?

And yes, you have to hold an item to trade. I mean, you don't trade air for a berry or pokeball. And the move would probably only be effective if the opponent is holding an item, and Vulpix is your best bet on holding an item.

If you can't answer the question, don't post.

1) You can't kill a Pokemon with Trick. If you kill that Pokemon in one shot after using Trick though, you'll trade your items just like normal.

2) Yes, you must be holding an item.

The questions seemed to have been answered, so I'll give this a lock.
