Wow, getting FF I and II onto GBA. I only have a GBA and a Computer and no PS or XBox or whatsoever. So this will be GREAT. I'm definitely gonna buy it, I loved FF, but it was never ported to the GBA or the Computer(The online one is crazily expensive). WOOT! :biggrin:

Since they didn't come out with a Dragon Warrior/Dragon Warrior Monsters game for GBA this will have to take its place =)

I have the computer version of FFVIII, and it's one of my favorite games. If you like FF, I definitely suggest you to get it. And FFVII seems like the most popular FF, so that could be good too. But both of them are kinda old.

I think you didn't see "news" about it because they are both old, and most of the time (for example, on www.gamespot.com) they are displayed as PS1 games.

Go to www.gamefaqs.com and search for "final fantasy viii" or "final fantasy vii." You'll see they have a PC version listed.

I can't wait for this to come out on GBA!! =)

I'm also very exceited at this announcement, Square is changing a few things as well, not much, just a few small modifications, so this should be good. :happy:

Hey is FF2 the same FF2 that was on snes with ceil the dark knight, rosa the white mage, ect? Cause if so im definately getting it :D. I did however beat FF2 but its still fun :)

Yeah. Funilly enough, i played the SNES version of FF2 recently. Sure the graphics werent dead on (Cecil often stepped halfway of a cliff everytime he turned) but the graphics are obviously gonna be upgraded from this. I cant wait to see the battle system though... I wonder if they'll keep the Real Time one... Anyways, it'll be good to see Dark Night Cecil, Paladin Cecil, Dragoon Kain, Golbez, etc, in all improved graphics.
