You can't link a DS with a GBA. You have to link a DS with another DS.

And why are you worrying? There's no way you can have manafi.

Yeah, you can't link them, and even if you could (and that's presuming Manafi is actually available in D/P), you wouldn't be able to trade it to the GBA games anyway, so there's no point.
