View Full Version : EV training AND weaknesses

I made 2 threads in one, else i'd have to double post a thread...that'd be bad.

1. I want some of my pokés to have a higher defense. what pokémon give defensive EV's? (anyone thinking I should read the read first: I already did.)

2. does anyone have a list what types are good/weak against others? I know most of 'em but not all, and My brother really wanted to know.

OK i know you said you have read the read first so somewhere in the EV section it says you can find a list of the EVs given by each pokemon here then it has a link... maybe not in that exact wording and as for the weakness list... here ya go! http://www.wraith10.megadoomer.com/pokemonrs/combattable.html

EVtraining for Def.:

As you probably know some opponent pokémon give 3 EV-points. Speaking of Def you would want to battle Golem, Aggron, Metagross, Rejirock.

If you and your bro made yourselves a "secret base", you could get some easy training. Have your bro make a team of 6 of the mentioned pokémon (maybe 3 Golems to get to 6?).

Exchange records and find your brothers base. Give your EV-trainer Macho Brace to hold and have it first on your team, but switch it out if nescessary.

Each of the 6 pokémon will give you 3 EV's = 18 and Macho Brace will double that (so will pokérus btw !). This means that you can get 36 EV's pr. day with just 5 mins of work. - A lot easier than training against Duskulls in my opinion!

Before this traning, your Pokémon should be at lv.5 (Egg) or you have

catch it and after that yo werent traned it

Every KO Pokémon gives (all) your pokémon (which was on that battle)

some Effort Points (1-3). There is possible to raise one(1) stat by

255 Effort Point, which is the HEX limit and the Total Effort Point line

goes on 510 (which is same as 2xHEX Limit).

Every 4th Effort Point gives your pokémon +1 Stat point of the same

category, where that KO Pokémon was belonged.

Every HP UPs, Proteins, Calsiums, etc. will give your Pokémon +10

Effort Points and you can give up to ten(10) those drugs to your

Pokémon. So give these drugs at beginning of your EV Training.

Macho Brace and PokéRus will doubled your Pokémons Effort.

(Spinda =1 SpA Effort x2(MB) x2(PkmnRus)= 4EP = +1SpA stat

After this traning, go to the Slateport. Next to Energy Guru is Lady,

who gives your Pokémon Effort Ribbon, if your Pokémon haves

Max Effort Value (510). After that you can give as much Rare Candies

as you want. It won't harmed you Pokémon anymore

i wanna to say this.....its very useful....

my Metagross's Attack is 404 (max 405), so do you really

wanna use it for making good pogeys?

Down there is EV-table that i have made for all kinda of infos....

Reply, if you need help...

Have a nice training (week) :silly:
