Surfing Pikachu!

Hey! This is stupid!

I've been playing Yellow lately, for those of you who didn't know (or care).

I remember when I first got Yellow I had a Pikachu who knew Surf. But now, I got HM03 and my Pikachu, but it doesn't learn Surf.

Any words of wisdom? Thanks.

I think there's only one way to get Surf on a Pikachu, and that is to go through Prime cup in Pokemon Stadium 1 with a Pikachu on your team. Also, I think you need to have that same Pikachu picked for all your battles.

Yep, that's right Neo Pika. And to make it extra hard you've got to play the Master Ball Prime Cup in the R-2 mode :doh: Speaking of impossible..

I'm currently training my yellow team(with of course Pikachu in it) to level 100 to beat the prime cup.

I remeber the only way I ever got the surfing Picachu was to use my Gameshark.

Well actually speaking of Gameshark, I once used my Brainboy (Similiar to Gameshark but it was made almost specifically for Pokemon, and that it changes the condition of certain things instead of adding new things.) I gave my Pikachu surf on Yellow, and went a little overboard and now, my Pikachu knows Fly :oops:

Yeah, I looked in the nintendo's world official pokemon stadium 1 guide and you have to have pikachu in the prime cup in all the battles.
it also said if you register your pikachu from pokemon yellow it will cry out it's name in battle, cool or what!
