Prologue
Why do I only feel pain, mama?
I suddenly awoke in a cold sweat. I rose up in the bed I was in. My breathing was heavy, and loud. I looked around at the landscape. I was in a white room, very small, big enough for one person to sleep in. The bed sheets were white, and there was a bag of blood hanging of one of those metal things. Not that I knew what they were. I looked to my left hand; the blood was connected to me. Why have I got this? I started to worry. Where was I? How did I of all people end up here? Was I still in Konoha? I looked to the door, as a boy about my age had walked in. He had shaggy black hair, and his eyes were black like coal.
He put a finger over his mouth, as a motion for me to stay quiet. He walked to me, and pulled the wire of the blood. He took my hand and pulled me up so I was standing on the floor. The floor was cold, and felt like marble. My vision was pretty blurred, and I could barely stand up. The boy had to hold me up. It was so quiet; I could hear the blood dripping onto the floor. He opened the window, and picked me up, holding my waist. He gently put me out the window, soon followed by him jumping down, and closing the window. My heart was beating at the pace it would if you have ran for a long time quite fast. He took a hold of my hand again, and he started running. My body copied the running, but my mind didn’t want to run. It was painful in my legs, and in my left hand and arm.
“Na-chan, we have to help you. We don’t want you spending more time in a hospital, you’ve been in there for two weeks in a coma,” he said. His voice was calm, and it soothed me. I felt ourselves slow down, as we reached the middle of a small forest. It was in the shape of a circle, with a fire in the middle. Another boy sat there, he had short brown hair, and unlike the other boy, he had intimidating brown eyes.
“Na-chan, Ji-san, you took your time,” his voice was harsh, and frightened me a bit.
“Gomen, but I had to wait for the nurses to leave her room, and for her to wake up. It was a bit delayed, but she did wake up,” the boy who was supposedly named Ji.
“Then maybe your premonitions are fake!” the other boy yelled to Ji. I hid behind Ji, still holding his hand.
“Its okay Na-chan. Yuki-sama is kind on the inside. He's just pissed off because I took longer to get you,” He turned to me and smiled, and I gave one back. I couldn’t speak, because my mouth was too dry.
“Well then, in the morning, we go back on our search for the last of Na’s clan,” Yuki looked to the fire, and went into a laying position. Ji sat leaning against a tree with myself in his arms. I soon fell asleep.
I knew this was going to be a long and painful journey.
