Pickleboy

It was an awfully bright day. The sun shone through my windows and pierced through my closed eyes, waking me up from sleep. I sat up in bed, stretching my arms heavy of being tired. I yawned and sweapt the sleep from my eyes, squenting from my bed at the bright window afterword. It was really bright, forcing my eyes to completely close.
As I crawled out of bed, I was careful not to trip over my dolls laying on the carpet. As I slowley walked through the door exiting my room, I stumbled upon my Lotad doll, falling and rolling down the stairs. This certainly woke me up this morning. After my plunge down the stairs, I looked up to see the kitchen where my Pokemon were sleeping.
My Blastoise, Mizutaiho, was in his shell against the corner of the room. My Swampert, Kaeru, was laying under the table, laying along side of my Suicune, Tsunami. On top of the table, I saw my Ludicolo, Pickleboy, laying on his back, tongue out, and snoring. In the sink, my Lanturn, Surge, was sleeping. The sink was filled with water, and because Surge was bigger than the sink, his tail stuck out. Next to the sink was a Net Ball, which held my Kyogre, Kraken. Kraken was much too big to just let it sleep outside it's ball, so I always keep it inside it's ball. I was always happy to see my pokemon in the morning.
As I stepped out to greet the beutiful morning, I noticed my mom walking back towards the house. "Kevin! You're up already, I see. I was just coming to get you." I looked at my mom with curiosity. What could be so important that my mom would come wake me up. It's been so long since she had to get me early for anything. "Kevin, Prof. Birch wanted to see you right as soon as you woke up. He seemed excited about something, so you better hurry"! I grew up never questioning my mom, so I hurried over to Prof. Birch's lab, where, if not in the wild looking for Pokemon, he was always.
I swung open the door that lead inside to see Prof. Birch in the back of the room, staring at his computer. If this was to tell me about an evolution of a Pokemon or something, someone was going to have a very bad start in there day. I already knew every Pokemon there was in existance, but Birch always said that I could never be so sure. Thinking that was the case, I made no hurry to reach him. When I finaly reached his side, he looked at me with great enthusiasm in his face. "Kevin, take a look!!" Of course, I had no interest in what he wanted to show. Rolling my eyes, I glanced at the screen. I took no effort to read past the word Kanto, which was the first word on the screen.
"No offense or anything, Prof. Birch, but if this is about another Pokemon, I really couldn't care less". Even I knew better than to say that, but it was undoubtfuly true. "No, it has nothing to do with new Pokemon. Just read the title." Surprised, I looked at the title and read it all the way through. "Kanto Ship, S.S. Anne, is traveling the world again!"
"What's the big deal about that?" I asked. "What's the big deal!? Take a look at what I have!" said Birch with excitement in his voice. He reached in his pocket and fumbled around, withdrawing three S.S. Anne tickets. "These are tickets to the Anne! If you read the article, you'd know that the S.S. Anne is, for the first time, picking up other trainers for transportation to Kanto! This means you can finaly go to Kanto, Kevin!" I stared at amazement. I was breathless! In front of me was a start to a whole new adventure! "How did you get those!?" I asked, gaping at the tickets Prof. Birch was proudfuly raising. "I ordered these immediately after I read the article! After telling them that it was Prof. Birch ordering, they shipped them right away!"
"How much did it cost?!" I asked, reaching for my wallet to pay Birch back, and also for curiosity. I was rich from always battling, I could pay him back whatever it cost. "Don't worry, Kev. I was more than happy to pay for you. It was the least I could do after all the effort you put into your Pokedex. Please, accept this ticket as a gift, not a debt". With music in my ears, I slowly reached out and grappd a ticket out of Prof. Birch's hand. I was breathless again! In my hand, at this very moment, was another adventure! I wanted to say thanks to Birch, but this was too good for words. So, thinking of another way to avoid thanking him without looking like a dork, I asked him, trying to lower my excitement, "Who are the other tickets for? Are you coming?" I asked. "Unfortunately, I can't. I'm busy here at the lab...". Imagine that, I thought. Prof. Birch was always working. "But my daughter, May, is going. She's already packed and ready to leave".
"Already? When does the boat come 'round?" I asked, hoping it would be real soon.
"It arrives in Slateport City in two days. If you want to go, then you best be sure that you have you're things ready to go!" I stood there, having nothin' else to say, but resisting the urge to suddenly run into my room and pack my things, but Prof. Birch sighed at me. "Go! pack your things! Get ready, this doesn't come around every day!" Upon hearing those words, I ran out of the lab and into my house, zooming up the stairs and getting everything prepared. Suddenly, I remembered that Birch had three tickets. One for me and one for May, but what about the other one? However, now was not the time to think of it. After all, this was a journey I would never forget.
OK, that's it for the intro. As you probably figured, the last ticket is for a friend who I'll invite to come with me. The rules for signing up are...
1. This RP is based off your GBA pokemon game. Saying this, your character must be from Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald to be the person as my friend, sinse this takes place in Hoenn right now.
2. People who want to join having FireRed and LeafGreen must only apear when we arrive in Kanto. I guess you could be a trainer in the ship, too.
3. If you want to be in this RP, but dont have any of the GBA games (assuming you don't make a team up), you could be a Rocket Member. We plan on having Team Rocket first come in at the S.S. Anne scene.
