A Friend In Need Is a Friend Indeed

This Role Play is the Junior Role Play, for the Junior students in the Role Playing facility. No one but members of the facility are allowed to join into this Role play. Teachers are free to join in, or only post comments.

Storyline

Professor Oak, the famous Pokèmon Professor, and renowned artist in Pokèmon Poems has opened his laboratory yet again, for a group of young trainers, intent on claiming the title of "Pokèmon Master". This time, however, the Professor has decided to give the children a much larger variety of Pokèmon to choose from. He has told the children that they may choose any Pokèmon which they want, apart from any Dragons or any Legendaries. He says that they are too rare to have as starters.

You see these posters all over the walls in your home own, and rush to Pallet Town, wanting to begin your Pokèmon jouirney. When you reach the laboratory, you notice other trainers also standing outside the laboratory, and realise that they must also be here to get a Pokèmon.

Professor Oak then opens his laboratory doors, and one by one lets in all of the other trainers to choose their Pokèmin, including you. Once you get your Pokèmon, all five of you, without knowing it, head off in the same direction: to Viridian City.

But just before you reach Viridian City, you see a flash of pallid blue light, and you are drawn towards it. Once you step inside the light, you fel as if you have been knocked out, and when you wake up, you are far from home...

Mission

Little do you know, but you have just found out another completely differrnt region. Your mission in the RPG is to find your way home, without disrupting the peaceful life of the Pokèmon without humans. Yes, you may catch some new Pokèmon, but make it realistic.

But remember, you do not know where you are.

Rules

-No Godmodding.

-If your are injured in the RPG, do not miraculously get healed, unless there is a reason to it, like a Miltank, or a Chansey.

-Remember. You have no clue where you are, and what you have to do. So please don't immediately start off in a direction whcih you think is home.

-No random teleportation. For example. Don't say this: I went into the forest. I came out of the forest with my new Pokèmon."

-Make everything you do very realistic. Action scenes. Emotional scenes...the works.

-Also, try not to use nicknames which have already been taken. For example. If I have a Charmander by the nickname Blaze, then don't use the nickname Blaze, or anything with the root word of Blaze, for any of your Pokèmon.

-You may catch no more than six Pokèmon.

Personality: Sam hates the company of others. When anyone else is around, Sam will immediately shrink away, preffering not to talk to any one. If someone strikes up conversation, they will get a snappy retort as an answer, and the conversaion will end. However, when friends are made, Sam is a fierce, fierce fried, and infinitely loyal, and staunch. Nothing will pull him out of a friendship, once he has made one. However, he very rarely makes any friends, as he is mean, rude, and some what irritable to the ordinary people. Only people with unlimited patience, or those who just love making friends will every become one of his close knit community of friends.

Description: Sam is nothing short of short, and stocky. he is extremely short for his age, and anybody, even one several years older to him, he will seem shorter. However, his face show immense maturity, and understanding, and he seems to alway be thinking. His hair, a bright, flaming ginger in colour, rests on his shoulder in silky bangs, while his blue eyes sparkle brightly. He often dons loose clothing, as it is most comfotabl to him.

It is in this way, yhe can conquer high level foes, and solve his way back home. He understands wich way is wich, and can use logic to solve chalenges. He is always determined to finish first, and belives he can never lose if he outsmarts his enemy.

He isn't very social, and has few friends. He puts hiimself beforwe others, and will push people out of the way to get what he wants.

Description:
He is the perfect example of ascrawny geek. 5'1, and 98 pounds, he hardly average size.
His face is fairly pale, and is sunburn easily. He has dark green eyes, and pitch-black hair. He wwars a black t-shirt, and a pair of grey shorts. He has a pair of glasses on at all times, and doesn't take them off while he sleeps.

At times he's just like any other kid, but is stubborn or persistent, depending on situations. He is very quiet and shy, except to his friends, where he is just bursting with stuff to say. But all they usually say is "SHUT UP!" However, when faced with an opponent who could physically harm him, Sonic backs down and hides, not literally. He cares for his friends more than himself, but can be a bit selfish sometimes when faced with a bully. "EVERY MAN FOR THEMSELVES!"

Description: (see sig) A blue hat conceals his tussled black hair. He has a round, not chubby, but round face with huge, curious eyes and brown irises that are like hot cocoa. He is thin with a green t-shirt and blue jeans, followed by scrawny legs and bright red shoes. He sports a blue glove and is not very "powerful." Instead, he is thin and unmuscular, rather than tough.

Extra Information: Sports a datalyzer, a sort of PalmPilot/ Pokedex mix, which can surf internet, store information, etc.

Personality:: Felix is very intraverted. Being meek throughout his life never impacted his life completely, just screwed it up. He never had any friends and ran away from those who tried to be friendly. His thoughts manipulated a friendly person into an abusive person who wanted to harm him.

When, and if, you can make him believe you are a friend, it is as if the wind blew over his leaf, revealing his tender, friendly side of his personality. He becomes slack and extremely outgoing. Sometimes, if he becomes too slack, he becomes vulnerable to trouble finding him. Once it does, there is no way its nails can be removed. He shrinks back, like a small abused puppy, and let trouble take its toll on him. If he tried to fight back, it would be four times tougher due to his lack of courage and pride.

Appearance:: Felix is incredibly thin, and his sullen skin complexion doesn't make it any better. His face has a sunken look to it, making him look extremely sick looking. His hair color is like freshly fallen snow, and his eyes were an icy looking slate blue, with a faint frosted covering, making him look less friendly and more dangerous. The disorder of his hair makes him look more dead looking. From afar, he looks like an undecomposed zombie or a ghost.

Felix's clothes all hang loose on his body. Most of them are secondhand and are simple and plain. His white t-shirt hangs very loosely from his shoulders, his collarbone shows through his skin, and ever so often one shoulder or the other slips through the head opening. His light sand colored jeans hang loosely to his hips, but held up by a long strand of rope, covered by his long t-shirt. There is a small tear on the back part of the left leg that never seemed to bother him. His shoes were black and worn, yet very comfortable, despite being thirdhand. His socks aren't any higher then the starting of his shin. He has a thin dark blue headband, to hold back his crazy hair.

Personality: Triv is technically a fristy and timid girl, known for overestimating situations and easily getting scared or frightened. She may be seen as many as a quick and calculating girl, but Triv tends to stumble and make errors on the simpliest things or forget the location of items. Triv may be able to easily make friends, but she can sometimes be a bit tempermental, overreactive and out of control, leaving most people around her quite uneasy. She's also known for being stubborn and quite lazy, yet she can miraciously finish anything as long as she is convinced to start. She often confuses herself and either underestimates or overetimates her situations, bringing her into deep trouble most of the time.

Description: Triv has long, layered, brown hair with black roots and streaks or faint, bright red in her hair. Her eyes are brown enough to the point of black with slightly slanted eyes. She isn't all that tall, standing around five feet with a skinny frame. Triv can be found wearing any baggy, dark colored shirt, jeans, black tennis shoes with a black sweatshirt with sleeves a bit too long for her.

Description: Crest looks like the Male Starter of Ruby and Sapphire but he wears a shirt with a crest and his hair is black. His eyes appear as a Scarlet color. His hair spikes up just like that Ruby/Sapphire starter and he gets annoyed by it when he goes to sleep. He has a normal look and weight for his age. His father gave him a Pokeball to carry Flash in. That was a specific Pokeball customized to keep Flash in that ball at all needed times.

Personality:

Possessing an innate wit and almost overpowering optimism, Jason Armand is a free spirited young man with a passion for bug Pokemon, both watching them battle and in their home environment. He had wished for so long to be a bug Pokemon trainer that he had literally jumped at the chance to begin his journey with an adorable Venonat. Very outgoing and well-mannered, he is always quick to meet new people and make friends. His only downfall is thinking too positively to assess risks, often putting himself in difficult or even dangerous situations through carelessness.

Description:

A quite tall but skinny boy of around 5'8", Jason holds himself with a great air of enthusiasm for each day, standing proudly upright. His bushy blonde hair just about keeps out of the way of his grey-blue eyes, which are framed by a handsome face. However, they are often masked by his ice-cool aviator sunglasses, which serve the dual purpose of helping him see in the sun and making him look like a total dude. :tongue:

He wears comfortable, stone coloured 3/4 length shorts, and a green t-shirt. Obviously, these are perfect clothes for crawling in the grass amongst bug Pokemon. However, due to this past-time his shorts are always scuffed, stained, and even ripped at the knees, giving him the look of a scruffy and apathetic young man despite his warm nature.

She herself rarely gets bent out of shape, but when she does get angry, it can be quite scary. She's exceptionally loyal to loved ones, and can hold a grudge like no one's business (if she feels like it, anyways, which is rare).

Description: Lei is about 5'5'' and 125 lbs. Her hair is a dark blue and hangs about halfway down her back. Her eyes are a deep emerald, though sometimes they turn a dark shade of amber, usually when she's stressed out. Her clothes are pale blue and cotton, and she usually wears a light leather jacket with PokeBall designs on it. She has a small red backpack, and a hip pouch that she keeps her PokeBalls in. She wears plain black tennis shoes, and on her wrist wrist there is a golden bracelet with jade Rayquaza charms around it.

Extra Information: Lei is starting her Pokemon journey late because she was always busy with others things. Most of the time it was helping the local Day Care, taking care of new-born Pokemon, cleaning out stalls and cages, feeding the Pokemon, all that good stuff. Finally though, the itch to travel the world and be a great Trainer got to her, and she just had to scratch it.

They may not consciously know that they need or even want a pair of sunglasses, but Shaun is more than happy to help them realize that. His personality will change depending on his customer, from happy and cheery, when selling a little girl a pair of Barbie sunglasses, to dark and dreary, when trying to convince a Goth that the glasses are just the thing to make the entire world a whole lot darker. He has a strong sense of justice (in a sense, if his own or even someone else’s merchandise is stolen, he’ll get angry. If someone makes off with 5 million dollars, or rapes a small child, he’ll think its bad, but not go into a huge lecture about how evil it is). He’s generally kind to people, but lies are not outside his agenda. He’s like a car salesman. Nice on social time, profits on working time. He is generally a nice person however, but is often very difficult to get along with, as he always tries to weasel a sale into every situation.

Description: He wears a Hot Pink T-Shirt advertising his fathers “Sunglasses Emporium”. He wears Jeans and Kneepads, which resemble a pair of sunglasses when his legs are together. He’s always wearing one pair of sunglasses or another, and always has about 30 pairs in an old, green, denim mailbag which he carries all his stuff in. His natural Hair color is black, but he dyes it blonde as one of his many tests to show just how well his fathers sunglasses reflect light. His eyes are a dark green, and he wears contacts.

Extra Information: At any opportunity he’ll try to either sell a pair of sunglasses, or advertise his fathers “Sunglasses Emporium”. He’ll often use his Pokemon’s attacks( Tail Glow, Sunny Day, Spark) to demonstrate how well the glasses filter light. He will always carry 5 rolls of quarters with him, incase he needs to make change from a customer, as well as a small banner advertising his fathers store, as well as a packet of about 30 flyers.

Description: Pearl wears a typical minidress. It is divided into 2 parts , the top a shirt and the bottom a miniskirt . The top is pale blue while the skirt is white , causing people to think she wears a shirt and skirt seperately. The top is an impression of an off-the-shoulder shirt with a cut nearing the elbow with its transparent sleeves . She wears a black handpatch

The skirt is slightly more complicated . It has a deep cute from its waist on the right all the way to the end of the dress . The bottom is actually a skirt short but the shorts are never seen in any kind of position. Pearl wears a pair of transparent stockings to show off her tanned legs . After that , a pair of green leg warmers and white boots end the whole outfit.


Her hair is long and always changing when she applies different dyes. Her hair is dyed pink after she had her ninth birthday[it was originally black]and always decorated with small little shining star hair ornaments, but lately she got into dying her hair yellow and decorate her long fringe with ribbon bells.Her eyes are black-brown but now she wears green contacts. Has dangling,shining earrings in her double-pierced ears. On her left ear is a feather earring given by Falkner as a soveniour and one dangling grape earring with blue leaves and white fruits. Her left is the same. Has a crystal clear locket with five different bells on it.

Extra Information: Pearl was borned in Pallet Town but kidnapped as her parents were quite famous. Raised in Violet City,she got the help from the gym leaders in Johto and was rescued in Ecruteak ,thus brought to Hoenn for some years before finally moving back to Kanto. She was amazed when Porf. Oak announced the news and made up her mind to get a starter from her old neighbour.

Very interesting character, SF. The idea of being the son of a world champion is something I've never seen before. I like it.

The only thing I would like to point out is that it is unlikely you would be carrying so many items at the beginning of your journey. It is understandable that your character's father would have given you a lot to help you. But you must keep in mind that you have only just gotten your first pokemon.

This, is a Pokémon Role Play, and although I did not specify this, you cannot mix two different fantasy ideas in one Role Play, unless that is the objective. If you wish to Role Play as a jedi, you can start a Role Play in the "Other Role Play" section, about Star Wars. However, since you have joined this Role Play, I will help you create a better form.

First off, remove all jedi related things in the sign-up, including the word "Darth". Next, try to create a personality for your character. See, what you have done, is more of a history, which has not been asked for. Try to create a personna of your character, how he reacts to people, and other such stuff.

Finally, try to get your spelling and grammer correct. Download a spellcheck toolbar, as it might help, and preview your work before submitting it. This goes to everyone who has also been having trouble with the more finer English pointers. Back to celebi, try looking at other people's form, before posting. It'll give you a good idea of what is expected, an what not to copy. I know that Rocket Meowth isn't a part of the Facility, but her form is what I would expect.

First Question: Legendaries will make a person seem like his/her Pokemon are gods. I mean, everybody knows a legendary's powers are good, right, way better than normal Pokemon. Legends are not allowed on future team, I think. Basically the no legend rule is to balance and equal everybody's limit to power. I hope this answers it.

Personality: Samska is the sort to convince others of his willingness to be alone, when deep down it is the last thing he wants, and in fact his greatest fear. Picked on when he was much younger for his unusual appearance by other children, he developed an emotional shell of sorts to block out others for fear of being hurt again, and as a result he can often come off as rather cold. Though kind-hearted and sensitive at heart, this disposition makes it hard for others to get to know him.

Another side-effect of his tough childhood is a great determination he posesses. His outward appearances is often one of reservation and indifference, when deep down he may feel very strongly.

Description: Samska stands around 5'9" (Damn heights. Never been good with them...) and has a not undesirable build; he's is not really the muscular type, but nor is he overweight at all; the bullying as a child stemmed not from his body but from his hair. It grows naturally as a reddish-brown chestnut colour, with a streaks of blonde at the front that he puts down to a birthmark. No longer bothered about hiding it and not one to flaunt, he lets his hair hang loose, not quite shoulder-length at the sides and brushed upwards at the back to save being an annoyance.

Beneath the bangs of his hair are set a pair of soft blue eyes, bright in the sunlight.

In addition to xoxkris's advice, here's some things that you need to include about your character's personality. You say she is shy. Try describing how that shyness affects her life and relationships with other people. Does she have a hard time making friends because of it? How does she respond when things in her life get rough? Okay, so she's nice. That doesn't tell us much. Is she so willing to please that she let's people take advantage of her? At least answer these questions, and try to come up with other things to include, on your own.

In reference to the name "Tohru Honda", if indeed it is from a comic you may use the name but not the character itself. Meaning, the character's personality, description, and history (even though it is not included in the bio form) must be different from that of Tohru Honda in the Furuba comics.

Well since i want to eearn my juniors License, i would like to join this RP

(By the end of the RP they wil all be evolved)

Personality: Vincent is a very distant person. He likes to be left alone most of the time and loves studying on dual type pokemon. Vincent hears of the offer that Prof. Oak sufggests and decided to choose a Carvanah as his starter. Ever since, he has been vigorously training Carvanah, so that he will one day, have the strongest water type pokemon in the world. When Vincent meets with other trainers, the urge to battle takes hold and he is a good stragetist.

Description: Vincent has long black hair, hazel eyes, and a dark complexion. He stand about 6ft tall and is distinguished by a scar of his right hand, where he let his Carvanah use Rough Scale on him, to help him and his pokemon to bond together.

Personality: Lin is an outcast. She is different than most of the other girls her age. She is more of a leader than a follower and often speaks up more often than her friends. Her attitude, to her friends, is like a boys and never trusted with secrets, since they are afraid of her telling them to boys. She is the only one of her friends who perfers climbing a mountain over a day at the beach. The boys often make fun of her because she is trying to fit in with the boys and still be a girl. She isn't hurt by this, but she does use this to try ane make herself more prominent among her peers. Also, most people who are older than her call her mature.

Description: Lin is taller than the average twelve year old, but her weight is slightly lower. She is somewhat thin, but her clothes still are sort of tight on her. Her hair is a mahogany color, and her eyes are dark blue. Her legs are muscular, due to the fact she ran more often than walking.

Lin's blue t-shirt is more worn than some of her others, but she loves wearing it for hiking. Lin also wears a pair of dark denim shorts that fall about half way down her shins. The hem is a thick black piece of material that oddly goes with her jeans. Her sneakers are white with some light green threading. She also has a silver bracelet on her right wrist with some odd charms on it. She also has look alike charms of her badges, so she doesn't have to carry her case of badges on her.
