THE STORY

It all started with a lead…

An archeologist team called Morgan Company lead by Richard Morgan had come across some findings in his journals and tied it with previous research he and his associates had acquired. With these findings, he was able to pinpoint the location of a lost Nasmar civilization in the sands of Orre. After getting permission from the Kanto officials and president Vincent Campbell of Kanto, they headed to Orre to begin their excavation.

They had found the Nasmar civilization like they expected, but there was something else under the sand that was far more important than ruins of buildings, pots, and other artifacts. They had found the six crystals of power, something Morgan Company thought was just purely a fairytale in their journals. Each crystal had been identified, and they were delighted at the fact they still worked perfectly after so many years of being lost. While the crystals were amazing to them, they were more interested in the money and their value.

They presented the officials of Kanto with their findings and the crystals, and they were beyond amazed. But somehow, word of the crystals spread around quickly, and Richard Morgan didn’t like the sound of it. He quickly split the crystals among his colleges as their fair share, and he let them do whatever they wanted with them. But it wasn’t long before the news of the crystals had hit the media, and that was just the beginning. When it was broadcasted, some people were bitten with the urge to do anything to get those crystals… even the unspeakable.

Pahaa Kirvestä, leader of Orre, had learned that the crystals were taken from his soil without his permission. Even though he knew nothing about the lost Nasmar civilization, he still felt that Kanto had no right to order Morgan Company into his region to extract anything from his soil. However, Vincent Campbell came to Richard Morgan’s defense and told him that he funded the entire operation, and that if it was never funded, the crystals would have never seen the light of day. Even after a lot of bickering, Campbell still refused to hand over the crystals to Pahaa Kirvestä.

Pahaa Kirvestä was furious with the feeling that Campbell stole the crystals from him. So, in retaliation, he planned for a terrorist attack on Kanto’s citizens, knowing the last thing Campbell wanted to see was his people paying for his mistakes. After making ties with the Orre chemical weapons developer DyneTech, he wanted to create some kind of chemical weapon to attack Kanto with. The leading officials of DyneTech said they could make something as long as Kirvestä provided the launching facilities for it. After making a deal, DyneTech got to work on creating a new virus, one that Kanto would not expect and would not have a cure for.

Under Yantil Massadar, the leading administrator of DyneTech, they created the Pokémon Hybrid Transmutation Virus, called PHT for short. The PHT virus was designed to turn ordinary people into half human, half Pokémon hybrids. All that had to be done to be infected was to inhale or come into contact with the virus. Once infected, the virus would then induce a total DNA replication and then begin a furious, widespread hyper-active cell mitosis throughout the victim’s body in only a matter of seconds, a process that created new cells and eliminated old ones. The victim would then undergo a transformation upon being infected with the airborne virus, where they would grow fur, tails, and other attributes of the Pokémon they became a hybrid of, but still retain a human size and posture. As far as the Pokémon they would become a hybrid of, this was randomly determined by the first entry virus itself, making the random determination and then issuing a type of “signal” to other entry viruses on what Pokémon to begin hybrid replication on the victim. Along with this, each virus was armed with the DNA replication tools to turn any human into a hybrid of any of the 386 Pokémon known to man. Despite the massive transformation, the infected would undergo only minimal mental change. Brain cells that governed emotion, memory, senses, and the like were left unaffected. But, there did lie change in what would become their new inherited powers…

When they were convinced the virus that they created was perfect, they used criminals on death row as test subjects. Further findings included that these test subjects inherited the powers of the Pokémon they became hybrids of, but there was no determinant on the rhyme or reason as to what Pokémon they would become a hybrid of upon infection. The DyneTech scientists watched in shock and wonder as they witnessed one criminal in particular become a hybrid of a Charizard, gaining the power to fly and breathe fire. The scientists also recorded that the subject’s mental state as a hybrid was very much the same when he was a human with disregard to the surprised emotions of his new powers. The other test subjects were similar cases, but in the end and after their research was conclusive, the criminal test subjects were terminated.

Now, Pahaa Kirvestä had the key in his hands to getting the crystals. He again contacted Vincent Campbell, demanding the crystals from him. When Campbell still refused, Kirvestä threatened to turn his citizens into monsters, and Campbell couldn’t help but laugh at him. Moments later, Kirvestä terminated the communication link, and ordered for the first missile loaded with a payload of PHT upon Saffron City, Kanto’s most populated metropolis. The outcome was beyond anyone’s darkest imagination. After the missile detonated in Greensfield City Park, there was no inferno or massive fiery explosion. The spreading of PHT was silent and invisible, but the effects upon the citizens were traumatizing. Men, women, and children, just watched each other lose their humanity and become hybrids in just a matter of moments.

After seeing the effects of the PHT attack upon Saffron City in the news, Kirvestä then issued an assault team to find Morgan Company and take the crystals from them, using all levels of deadly force. But before they were deployed, Kirvestä had heard the report that the virus was spreading even beyond Saffron City. In very little time, he had heard that the surrounding cities of Celadon, Cerulean, Vermillion, and Lavender were undergoing the same effect. The virus had spread even further than he thought.

At the end of two days consisting of massive hysteria, the virus had blanketed all over Kanto, and managed to reach as far as Violet City in Johto. Citizens of both regions attempted to evacuate to Hoenn and the Orange Islands, but only a few attempts were actually successful. At the end of the week, one third of the world’s population had become hybrids, going far beyond what Kirvestä had ever predicted. However, in one last act of revenge, Kirvestä had been assassinated in his office, a single shot to the head. No one knows who the assailant was, however…


The governments are fragmented now. The Hoenn Council and The Orange Islands Coalition are attempting to deal with the hysteria and refugees as well as the escalation in crime, while Johto and Kanto are in complete anarchy. Meanwhile, Orre stands leaderless with the death of Pahaa Kirvestä. As for the crystals, no one knows where they are now, or what happened to Richard Morgan and Morgan Company. They might have escaped, become hybrids, or they could already be dead…

Instead, new factions have risen at a time when government has failed. Team Trainer, one of the leading caretakers of society has emerged to reinstall order in this time of chaos. However, they don’t go unopposed. La Résistance, a group of revolutionaries fighting for the belief in a mysterious Pokégod have emerged, as well as The New Order, The Extreme Coalition, Team Aqua, Team Nox, and the Dark Angels: Renegade Knights. A new war has arisen, one beyond anyone has ever imagined…

THE CRYSTALS

Crystal of Change
- The Crystal of Change allows the user to transform into any living being in the world.
- The transformation only lasts as long as the user maintains contact with the crystal. If the user loses contact, the user reverts back to the original form.
- The user cannot use the crystal to multiply himself or herself.
- The crystal can be used to transform hybrids back into their original human forms. Note, they can still be infected again.

Crystal of Life
- The Crystal of Life can be used to heal any living being from simple cuts and scratches to life threatening wounds such as the loss of a limb.
- The user may also use the crystal to “heal” hybrids causing them to revert back to their original forms. Note, they can still be infected again.

Crystal of Communication
- The Crystal of Communication allows the user to talk with anyone else in the world.
- The user appears to the said person in a ghostly form.
- The recipient sees the user as if the user was right at that location physically (though he still appears transparent).
- The user cannot see the location the recipient is at and can only view the person against a white background.

Crystal of Nature
- The Crystal of Nature allows the user to use attacks that involve fire, water, air, or earth. Essentially, the crystal bestows Pokémon-like powers on the user.

Crystal of Vision
- The Crystal of Vision allows the user to see anything in the world as long as the user knows what to look for in the first place.
- The user can see the area as if the user was actually there. Note, the user cannot interact with the world.

Crystal of Power
- The Crystal of Power allows the user to boost the power of any creature/item the user wants.
- The Crystal of Power is only useful when used with something else. Think of it as an unlimited supply of energy.

Crystal of Weather
- The Crystal of Weather allows the user to determine the weather at that specific location the user is at.
- The user cannot control the weather, only change it. Thus, the user can create a storm, but cannot tell it where the lightning should strike.
- The user can change the weather on whim, create fog, tornadoes, hail storms, etc, but cannot create hurricanes without a stronger source of power.
- The user cannot create earthquakes since that isn't weather.


It has been rumored that if anyone brings the seven crystals together, they can bestow an incredible power unmatched by the seven crystal individually.

Note, these crystals will be extremely hard to find or locate in the world. Excellent role playing is required to even acquire one of these crystals. Once you have them, they are also not a ticket to abuse their powers. You must take everything into stride and figure out how to creatively add a crystals power to your roleplay posts.

RULES

As with normal Role Plays, God-modding and Bunnying (See the Into Your Character’s Skin (http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13613) role playing guide for a complete description) are strictly prohibited. If there is a violation of these rules, the infraction will go punished to keep the integrity of the RP intact. Each infraction will result in a strike for each time a member breaks the rules. If the end result is three strikes, the member will be removed from the role play, and the team they were on will lose War points as a result. If a team member is violating the rules on purpose, the team leader has the right to remove that member from the team.

Secondly, it is for the benefit of all that this role play is taken seriously. With that said, avoid posting very short RP posts. Short and downsized posts are detrimental and we would prefer not having them.

Recommendations

Read List of Movie Clichés by Genre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_movie_clich%C3%A9s_by_genre) on Wikipedia. While it is okay to get inspiration from movies and film, keep these in mind. These are uncreative plot and design examples that can deteriorate your role playing if you happen to use them yourself. Avoid them whenever possible.

Description: Kaede is a young girl who goes to school normally. After the chemical thing in Kanto, she became a hybrid of Espeon. She has nice brown,short hair that flows nicely down. A blouse, inner shirt, and a skirt.

Personality: Kaede loves Pokemon in anyway she can. She likes having Pokemon for pets but not the bad ones. She is quite smart and knows what is talking about all the time. She is a nice young girl on the outside.

Background: Kaede has 6 siblings. All the siblings lived in Johto while she lived with her grandma in Kanto. She had some friends that were
human and she had many Pokemon friends. She has some romance in her but afraid to tell people. Joining the New Order, things drastically changed.

Obtained: Rark was found as a stray little Eevee and took in as a little baby. At that time, Kaede was young. Kaede also took in another Eevee.

Okay, I have confirmation on the hybrids.

Name: Landon Icee (Temped to say Chuck Norris)
Age: 42
Race: Human, for now. If made a hybrid, Piloswine.

Description:
Description: About 5'6 and 164 pounds, has snow-white hair and pale skin. His silver eyes never seem to move. He is often seen wearing a lab coat, and a quartz necklace, wich gives off a strange glow in the moonlight.

Personality:
Always seems to be thinking about something else, you never know what he is up to. He is known as stealthy and sneaky, but has an open heart. He would never hurt another human without a good reason, and is fairly non-violent. He is a philanthropist, and generaly an optimist. He reads old computer manuals as a pastime, and is as a result, somewhat geeky. he is kind to everbody he meets, and considers wort enemies friendly rivals.

Background:
He started trainng at age fifteen, with his precious Snorunt. At an early age, he showed a love of ice types. He spent most of his time training in the ice caves, fighting to be better than anybody else. When he lft that cave, he was a force to be reckoned with. The first thing he did after that was challenge a gym leader. He met one, who harnessed the power of ice to defeat him.

Landon was inspired by this, and knew he wanted to lead a gym. He found a far off regeon, almost unsettled by humans. He chose a spot and built a gym, out of nothing but sticks, ice, rock, and water. He built his gym between a lake and a cliff. Freezing the lake and building a roof of ie based on the cliff. He created Ice Cave Gym, that never got off the ground.

One day, he had a challenger. Now, challengers are rare around there, but he had one. A few thunder-bolts later he was defeated, all his Pokemon fainted. This challenger was from New Order, and decided he would join. He recived several new Pokemon, and joined his team to solve this crisis.

Personality: Quick-Tempered, greedy, and triggerhappy.
Background: rust started out life in a middle-class family with a peaceful life, until after he finished college. After recieving his Bachelor's, his parents were murdered by organized crime. It enraged him to invest every cent he had (Which wasn't much at the time) to start a mercenary group to be powerful enough to avenge his parents' deaths. Thus, Team Aqua was born. Since then, Aqua has built up an infamous reputation as one of the notorious mercenary groups in the world. Aqua now has its eyes set on an Aircraft Carrier in Orre. Since Orre is in chaos, this is the optimal time for Aqua to strike. rust chose himself to lead this mission to obtain this ship to store parts for and assemble his ultimate plan; Project ZEPHYR.

Other: Skilled in the Dual Katana sword style (He uses Light Katanas, so he can hold both at the same time). Also has Psychic powers because of the Starmie.

Race: Human. If he is to become a hybrid, he shall be a Mew hybrid.

Physical Description:

Personality: Nottori has been diagnosed with being mildly bi-polar, meaning he has several distinct personalities, which appear at random times. These are all extremes of several different personalities. The number of personalities is strangely endless, with the exception the variations of angry. Due to his normally positive and optimistic personality, Nottori is never angry, nor annoyed.

Background: Nottori was born and raised in Rustboro City. His life was a normal one, with the exception that he is quite intelligent. He managed to skip two grades during his middle school years, and graduated from college two years earlier than expected. After leaving Rustboro University, he began his career working for the Pokémon League, in a new field known as Pokémon Capture. In this field, certified trainers are assigned to capture Pokémon, which are sent to the Pokémon League for examination and study. He eventually received the job, due to his immense skill and knowledge in the art of Pokémon Capture. Soon after receiving his job, Nottori came across a religious group known as La Resistance. After learning from them, he has sworn allegiance to them, determined to bring judgment upon the sinners of the Earth….

Shining Dragonair
Gender: Female
When Nottori was 17, he entered in a Pokémon Capture Contest. The object was to capture 20 different Pokémon in the smallest amount of time. With a record of 7 minutes, Nottori was awarded with a Shining Dratini, which recently evolved into a Dragonair. When Nottori received it, the Pokémon was just a child, so it quickly grew to love Nottori. It is very loyal, but due to it’s timid nature, is quite shy around other Pokémon and humans.

Lapras
Gender: Male
While playing with a group of friends on Route 115, Nottori found this injured Lapras in the river, apparently damaged and abandoned by it’s previous trainer. Nottori took in the sick and confused Pokémon, only to learn that it was pregnant. It soon hatched a Pokémon egg, and died soon afterwards, apparently due to a Pokémon sickness. The egg hatched another Lapras, which Nottori took in and raised. Lapras is quite powerful, but very modest, and doesn’t like to exhibit it’s powers often.

Alakazam
Gender: Male
Nottori’s second Pokémon, Alakazam is Nottori’s most skilled party member. He caught it Rustboro City when he was seven, and raised it ever since. Like Lapras, Alakazam’s nature is modest. Alakazam tends to distance itself from the rest of the group, and prefers to be alone. However, when he is needed, Alakazam makes an excellent team member.

Ditto
Ditto is Nottori’s strongest and first Pokémon, given to him when he was six. The two share a very close bond, and Ditto would easily risk its life to save Nottori. Ditto is the “prankster” of the group, often making or poking fun at others. Ditto is the most “calm” Pokémon of the group, due to it’s relaxed and laidback nature.

Team: La Résistance

Okay, a couple things about Ditto hybrids before everyone decides to choose it thinking they can kick the RP rules in the crotch. ;)

1. While you are a hybrid of a Ditto, you CAN NOT transform to become a hybrid of anything else or transform into any Pokémon. Hybrids don’t gain full powers of the Pokémon they’re a hybrid of. Someone could be hybrid of a Ho-oh, but that doesn’t mean their Sacred Fire attack is going to be just as vicious as the real thing from Ho-oh itself.

2. With #1 in mind, you CAN, however, transform back into your human self and LOOK human. There is a benefit to this. You can make those around you think you’re not a hybrid. You can also freely walk around Kanto and Johto and not worry about infection because you’re already a hybrid. This grants you access to the best of both worlds.

Lastly, if you don’t think that’s fair, the solution is easy. Pick another hybrid form. You still have time.



ChronoPika: The 1-4 thing refers to the number of Pokémon. While your RP character design is substantial, I would have liked to see a bit more detail behind it, but its okay.

However, you are allowed to choose four Pokémon and I would check with Alex (GLOW) before you decide on becoming a hybrid or not. I’ll keep checking the New Order thread to see when his decision is made.

Also, I did have to insert a new rule with character's ages. Sorry, but being only 8 years old and being involved with a organization that would get involved with combat strays away from the realism of the RP. If you could adjust this, I would highly appreciate it.

Until then, your character is Pending. While I do recommend changing your Pokémon now that you know you’re allowed to choose 1 to 4 of any Pokémon (not a legendary however) to create your team, that is all. Once Alex makes his decision and you edit this detail and your age, I’ll accept your character.

Plus, the detail you provided was very good and I got a good idea of your character’s personality and traits. While having some access to weapons and some monetary funding for your team is essential like any other team, it would be wrong to grant you these extraordinary rewards without any effort.

My recommendation would be for you to adjust your history so that only a limited amount of money is granted to you, and with this money, you start Team Aqua with some personnel and some weapons and resources to get a foothold in the RP setting without unbalancing the lines. Having enough money to make Team Aqua a considerable force among common people is acceptable, but not to the point of being rich and overpowering without effort.

Until this or an acceptable alternate change is made, sorry, but your character is Rejected.

Description: Do I have to post the sprite? But in his human form, he has black hair and brown eyes. His uniform is a small grunt uniform but it is fine with him. Although his arms are not big, he is still somewhat strong.
Personality: Kento is a solf-hearted charcter, most of the times. He knows how to use a gun to kill even at his young age. Since his father was also an Aqua member, he knows alot about Aqua and its history. He is one of the smartest members of Aqua.
Background: Fostbit was born in Johto. Both his parent's were part of Aqua so he had to stay with his uncle and anut. At the age of eight he was asked to viste his father and mother because they were dieing from a battle against Magma. After the time he forced himself to study harder and become a Aqua Admin one day. One day after school he found his uncle and aunt crying. He then learned that his two parents had died and that in their will they asked for him to be sent to Aqua HQ imeditly and start his training.

Name: Kent Tousaka
Age: 35
Race: Human (if hybrid: w/smeargle)
Description: Lab coat dude. 6'0" and fairly skinny. He lacks any significant facial features that woulddistinguish him from others. Nay, others distinguish themselves from him instead. He sports jet black with grey hair, and glasses to boot. (Human form for now we'll see about hybrid)

Personality:
A blank professor. He essentially draws blank to the eyes of humans as he stares into blank space, thinking about something. To this date, he is not mysterious as he is more a "klutz", but it his is passion for knowledge that drives him. Thus he is a polar opposite of himself, a cold and calculating intellect in an inferno struggle against a chaotic passion.

Background:
His life began rather in turmoil as his mother soon left him after giving birth. This did not deter his father, as this child was still his son, andthus treated him like a son, trying to raise him best as he could. Tragically, he was raised in an unwarm family where his father married another woman partly due to the difficulty of raising a child alone, who also brought him a small half sister (not related by blood). Of course, as all unwarm families show, the woman, who stayed in the house, showed obvious hatred toward Kent, and thus allowed him to channel his hatred toward the mother and daughter. However, being unable to hate his half-sister, he smothered her with love, a powerful effect in destablizing Nayuki herself. This unwarm family eventually fell apart in yet another tragedy, as both parents died in an unfortunate accident, while they were out on vacation, whereas the children never left the house.

His former half sister, Nayuki Shigure, at that time couldn't deal with this, and vouched to destroy Kent, whom she thought was the reason why their parents died. Of course, truth was that Nayuki was the cause. He hid this secret from her, and endured her hatred one day at a time. His hatred for Nayuki began to flare again.

At this point, his passion took a new direction. Rather than protecting Nayuki or just destroy her, he wished to gain immense knowledge. He wished to know everything there was to know about life and its inner workings. He needed a mental backing to keep him from becoming insane. Just like that, he went from seeing red and white to seeing red and blue. His rather chaotic nature also rooted itself firmly at around this time.

He studied at Vermillion University for his undergraduate in a specialist program in pokemon cell biology. After his four years of absolute hell, coming from home (as he lives with Nayuki still in a relative's home near Vermillion) and from the pressures of university. However, he thought nothing of thse pressures, and generally ignored them.

He broke away (not that he cared) and found Viridian University in his graduate studies. There, he met with a large group of radical scientists that called themselves "the enders", who felt the same passion he had to know everything. That was, except for a woman there. Her name was Glissa. She had no interest in knowledge, but she knew that she was needed to keep the group together. Her purpose served as the group mediator, and she profitted from doing so, as knowledge sells. None of "the enders" really cared about such a leak, as they only wished to know and they had no intention of patenting any research. "The enders" had ended their journey after graduate studies, but Glissa kept in contact with Kent, leeching whatever information he would throw at her in midst of his passionate rage.

Kent did his postgrad and postdoctorate at Viridian University, with a special highlight on one day where Nayuki showed up in tears. Fate had chosen him to bare the burden of a lie, but it was fate who also threw a wrench at him. She found out from his relatives, upon a slip of tongue. It was then that she lived with Kent during that day, and promised him that she would make up for her mistakes.

Kent found a job in Viridian City after his postdoc, as an associate professor in the subject of pokemon biology. Not only that, he managed to fly through and found tenure in a record shattering 3 years thought the discovery of a specific organelle in pokemon he named "pons", which was key in partially explain why pokemon can use the powers they have. However, where were many mysteries of the pokemon that he never understood.

It was several years after when Glissa mentioned a rather different group known as "La Resistance" that Kent became interested. He wished for knowledge of life, and religion was a part of life that he did not fully understand (or at least as much as say the biological aspects of life). Thus he decided, against the will of Nayuki, legally his wife at that point, to join such a religious group, to understand why.

In no time he raised himself to be a lowly preacher for this religion, traveling the world to convert people into this group, and to test his theories on human psychology.

Pokemon:
Smeargle (Codename Crow, M)
The second most baffling pokemon he had encountered, as he never fully understood the inner workings of such a creature. He met Crow in his third research lab course in undergrad during his third year of study. Vermillion University actually gave out curious specimens for long-term watch. However, he never gave Crow back.

Ditto (Codename Faust):
The single most baffling pokemon hehad encountered. He took this one from a colleague's lab in Viridian University to further his own research. (Guys, stealing is wrong. ;)) It was declared dead by him after a little tampering with a temporary "stop motion" drug, and thus his colleague never reallywent after him for a "dead ditto".

Blissey (codename Pride):
A gift from Nayuki for their first anniversary. He could never unstand woman on those types of things, and Pride's overwhelming love and joy was a bit of a turn off for him. However, he kept Pride with him for he could not forget his pride, which was lost.

La res accept both races, it was man that altered them, not the gods so they come together to dispose of those that have sinned and are the cause of the worlds problems.

Name: Daniella Lucas

Age: 19

Race: Human. (hybird form: Misdreavous)

Physical Description: 5'7 and of average build with dark brown eyes and hair that reaches her chest. She's always wearing something different as she has to keep up with the current fasion, but she loves pinks and reds and she normally wears a pair of designer jeans, a fitted top and a fancy belt with matching shoes.

hybird form: I mysterios Red pearl necklace is permenantly hung around her neck and her eyes turn red to match. Her skin gets a dark blue/gray/purple tint to it and her hair becomes a darker version of this but with added pink highlights. Her hair also floats, and billows about her in an otherworldly wind.

Personality: As a child she was very laid back, but with the launch of her child film career at just 16 she has become more egotistical and will only drink bottled water, none of that filfthy stuff from the tap. She is generally very optimistic and she is there for her friends, but she can turn and be a bit of a diva when she's angry which is not a pretty sight. She's not supersmart, but she has more than enough common sense to get her by. She loves all things beautiful.

Background: Daniella was born in Rustboro where she lead a normal life surrounded by family and friends. She became a trainer at 10 and competed in the Hoenn leauge, placing 7th at age 13. She continued training for 3 years, hoping to place higher next league and managed to get 3rd. However, during the tournament she was spotted by a talent scout who convinced her to star in a relatively low key film called "Trainer's passion" where she played the girlfriend of a trainer but they were also rivals, battling in the final of a tournament. It was cheesey and wasn't the best film of all time but it put her on the road to stardom. Since then she has been part of other films, her latest one being the box office smash "Birth of a Legend". She was not a lead role, but she was recognised and had gained b-list celebrity status and several fans by the tender age of 18. Taken in by this new life style of photoshoots and talkshows, she felt something lacking and soon came across "La resistance" which filled a spiritual gap for her, and because of her status she is now a key spokesman for the faction and took part in demonstrations which has lead her career to suffer and her fame to drop. She still gets recognised in the street occasionly and has a small fan base but nothing compared to what it was. Her 15 minutes of fame are pretty much over, and she objects to doing reality TV shows in attempts to revive it again.

Alias: Finch (true name unknown)
Age: 29
Race: Golduck Hybrid

Description:
A tall and shady-looking character. Would stand at around 6'2" tall, but has since then developed a slight hunch from his tranformation, making him closer to 5'11. His skin has turned completely blue from the transformation, and his hands and feet have become webbed claws like a Golduck's. Apart from that, though, his long black hair had remained unchanged (if you ignore the blue tint) and his facial features remain similar to his own, with the exception of the red jewel on his forehead. He still wears his Aqua admin uniform, which amazingly still fits well, but doesn't wear boots as he often needs to swim with his webbed feet on missions.

Personality:
Finch has a wary and untrusting disposition, but is himself very loyal to those who have earned his respect. He takes his new job as an Aqua captain very seriously, seeing it as a new chance in life. Finch is optimistic at all times and confident in his abilities as a Team member and leader. He tries to keep all of his men safe indiscriminately but he also sees that some sacrifices must be made to complete a mission.

Background:
Joining Aqua as a last-ditch source of protection, Finch was initally a bandit. Although he had always been intelligent enough to study and gain a reputable position in life, Finch had always lacked both the willpower and funding to continue full-time education past the age of 16. As a result of this he had barely anything to fall back on. He turned to a life of crime in order to survive.

After several run-ins with the law, including assaults on police officers, Finch became a fugitive. His life was falling apart, as he couldn't even show his face in public without being spotted and approached by the authorities. However, in his travels he met up with someone who would later offer him a way out of this tortured lifestyle. The man he met was Rust Nuva Makuta: Leader of Team Aqua. Rust had promised him a home, as well as the money he needed to live on, so long as he did the newly-formed mercenary force a favour in return by joining and using his talents to become a spy and thief for them. Naturally, he took the offer with a broad grin, and later became very good friends with Rust.

Finch proved himself time and time again on missions for the Team, and he was delighted to be promoted to a Captain rank after only a year of service. Although he had never really set out to become a leader of a mercenary force such as Team Aqua, he had accomplished it with relative ease. For once in his life, he felt at home. As his power and reputation within the Team grew, so did his (and his leader's) ambitions. One day, when Rust was talking to Finch about his plans for the Team, Finch had an astounding idea: this "Project ZEPHYR" would be made so much easier if the technologies could be obtained from other organisations. In particular, he decided to target those that Aqua were working for, as it would be easier to infilatrate their infrastructures.

With his new mission in mind, Finch thought nothing could go wrong. However, whilst scouting with a small force in Kanto he was brought to the floor as an unbearable wave of nausea and lethargy swept over him. His whole body started to sting, his blood and skin bubbling over his mutating bones. He blacked out.

When he woke up there was nobody else in sight. He felt strange. Something was definitely up. Strolling over to a shop window, he gasped with shock:

He had been transformed into a monster. A half-man, half-Golduck monster.

Other:

While somewhat underweight, he is still strong and intelligent. He is also known for being very perceptive and being able to track down targets like a modern-day ranger.

Personality: While mostly quiet, Neo is compassionate and has an easier time understanding what it’s like to be in someone else’s shoes. He trusts his comrades with his life, and tries his hardest to think in a utilitarian mindset while keeping just intentions. However, he is also a determined warrior. While fighting for peace, Neo shows no resistance toward people and organizations of evil. Because of his higher than usual aggressiveness against evil, he is often called the “Warrior Angel” by his comrades.

Background: Before the PHT bombing, Neo lived his life in Olivine City as an electrician with his family of four, his parents and his brother. While he was aware that the town focused more on a life of fishing, Neo decided it just wasn’t the life for him. However, it was not the corporate center of the world like Vermillion, Saffron, and Goldenrod City were. So, Neo decided on a new profession that was still needed by the town.

During this time, he was also recruited by Team Trainer who took an interest to his skills and clean records. After being recruited, he trained hard to fight for what he believed in, but like most Team Trainer members, he kept his day job and continued to live a normal life. However, he always stood ready for the day that Team Trainer would need his assistance.

When the bomb finally did hit, he managed to quickly retreat from Olivine City to Slateport City in Hoenn by cruiser along with the rest of his family. He was only one of the few who managed to get away in time from the Kanto and Johto mainland. When Neo finally arrived in Hoenn, his family then settled down in a Rustboro City apartment while Neo stayed with Team Trainer to prepare for reconstruction on Kanto and Johto, as well as trying to help local citizens become comfortable and be at ease with the fact the PHT bombing resulted in a whole new race of beings on their planet.

Stormblaze was Neo’s starter Pokémon, but he was given to him by his father rather than a Pokémon professional. While Neo’s intention was to train him, getting badges was not his interest. Stormblaze was a Pokémon that Neo could talk to in his times of worry, and surprisingly, Stormblaze was closer to Neo’s feelings than how most Pokémon are to their trainers.

Pidgeot (Nicknamed Zephyr)
Zephyr was raised from being a lowly and lonesome Pidgey to a fast and energetic Pidgeot all by Neo’s hand. While it took time for Zephyr to understand and trust Neo, he felt his protection and attention was far greater than anything he had be given to him previously. Today, Zephyr remains as one of Neo’s most loyal comrades.

Dragonite (Nicknamed Colossus)
Colossus is Neo’s “Surprise Powerhouse,” a Pokémon that Neo likes saving to be used later in battles to surprise his opponents. Like Zephyr, Colossus was raised from a Dratini that Neo went through a lot of toil to find and capture. But, when he finally came across him, Neo used his wits to capture him, and while times of understanding were hard in the beginning, Colossus was raised to not only be a loyal fighter for Neo, but also a loyal friend.

Flygon (Nicknamed Hyperstriker)
The story behind how Neo met Hyperstriker was an unusual one, but nonetheless, it created a close bond between the two. Neo had been stranded and lost in the desert with only a limited amount of food left, and when things had become desperate, he had come across a Flygon slowly dying of starvation. In a somewhat risky but compassionate move, Neo had given the rest of his food to the Flygon, and in exchange for saving his life, the Flygon saved his by letting him ride on his back out of the desert. But somehow, even after he had been flown to safety, the two had looked into each other’s eyes and they became inseparable after that.

The rest is history.

Description: Shawn is an average Caucasian man, though his skin is a small amount darker than most, as he spent most of his childhood with his father in the sun, doing what he still does often in his leisure time, playing sports. His present height is fight feet, eleven inches, though his doctors still intend for him to grow a few more. His usual attire is a loose fit tee-shirt covering most of his unnecessarily long exercise shorts, though when he attends classes, he makes sure to wear at least jeans, and even tuck in his shirt if he is trying to make a formal presentation. His eyes are brown and drooped slightly, matching his short, straight, brown hair. He would be scrawny in the eyes of some, but others see him as fit, as he does have some muscles to show for.

Personality: Never was there anyone more outgoing and outspoken about one's feelings as Shawn is. He is not afraid to look his best friend in the eyes and tell him off, if that is how that particular friend deserves it. He doesn't usually falsely reprimand anyone for his or her deeds, though he has been known to release his temper in a way that, at the moment, was unnecessary, and has gotten into trouble for his querulous nature. Despite his hot-headedness, Shawn is quite wise. He is in his third year of school studying to be a research biologist, and spends a lot of his time apprenticing for known Pokémon researchers and scientists.

Background: Shawn grew up in a suburban neighborhood by the name of StoneMill, though not many people were aware of his existence. His birthmother was of a very young age, and had released him to a local religious orphanage, where a man by the name of Roger Morrison adopted him. Shawn was aware of this adoption since the age of 6, and never had a problem with it. He had gotten used to growing up motherless with a father that stood at only five feet, five inches.

Shawn's early years were spent in school with his only friend, Joshua, an African American child of his same age and height, who also grew up motherless. The two spent their time in class studying together, and every day at recess and after school they would take to the courts, one on one, and play endless games of basketball until their legs would not move anymore. It was no surprise that when the two arrived in high school, they joined the basketball team together. That was, until Shawn's grades started to slip. He spent too much time playing around in his backyard and not enough time studying. His father was a mechanics engineer, and sometimes his business kept him in the office until dusk, too late for him to be pestering Shawn about his homework and his studying, which Shawn failed to do any of.

Shawn and Joshua, however, managed to maintain their friendship for quite some time after that. They hit another speed bump head on, however, when Shawn took an interest in the Smeargle his father used when presenting new designs and blueprints. He had never considered a life connected to Pokémon until his father brought that specific home on a late-night occasion. Joshua on the other hand, had a history with Pokémon. Team rocket had used a Magmar to burn down a neighboring house when he was only two years old, and the fire spread to his. He was evacuated, but his mother died in the hospital two days following the attack. Their friendship ended as fast as it had started, devastating Shawn to the point of mandatory mental therapy. He and his doctor had finally concluded that the friendship should not end in vain.

Shawn grew more and more comfortable with is father's Smeargle and its unique ability to be able to draw anything you told it to the tiniest nuance of your description. Not only was he interested in watching its capabilities, but also he was interested in how it was capable of pulling off such a feat. He attempted to keep up in school, because he was planning on going to a leading university in human and Pokémon medical sciences and research, where he now studies to figure out how different Pokémon are capable of generating such amazing physical abilities.

Pokémon: Kecleon. He has received a Kecleon from one of his professors, as he wishes to study it. If he can get it to adjust itself to one of the virus's traits, he may be able to, in his opinion, find a counter for the virus that has been threatening his town as well as many others. His colleagues agree it is a long shot, but he refuses to listen.

Hitmonchan. Shawn bought this Pokémon at an auction after Joshua abandoned him, as he needed a partner to play basketball with (which did turn out quite successful, as Hitmonchan is very skilled with its hands). He has recently been training it to battle, though he still has a long way to go before he can call himself a trainer. For now, he is taking advise from another former trainer, his father, and he and Hitmonchan are doing all that they can to improve.

Description: Ric Flair is very old....and out of shape. He has bleached white hair and a wrinkled smile. His walk has that kind of old determination you see with people that belong or live in a home.
Personality: Flair......is a dirty player. Mainly because he is from the South. In other words...he is so stupid he is remotley smart.
Background: Flair has been in the WWE/WWF for years..and still hasn't realized he doesn't have another title reign yet he still wrestles. Suprisingly he hasn't died of blood loss yet. He bleeds alot.

Other: His finisher is the figure four leg lock which he applies porley. He has a short temper and bleeds profusely and rather easily. His pokemon could kick his ass.

Race. There is no North Carolina in the Pokémon world, and the whole point of that is to decide between hybrid and human. Also, there’s really only a little description and background for this character. I highly recommend making it more designed toward creating a character that will play an effective role in the RP, not really serve as a kind of “joke character.” Like I said, please take this RP seriously, that’s how most people prefer to approach it.

As far character design, it’s really… really basic. Description:

Human - Kosmo is 6' 3'' and 225 pounds. Has mussles but not enough to show through his shirt. He's got spikey hair that's dirty blonde with orange tips. He likes to wear an expensive pair of shades so you rarely see his eyes. His shirt is a faded red and black and his pants are black and baggy with red chains. He'll wear black shate shoes. He also wears a long black and red trench coat.

Hybrid - 6' 3'' 230 pounds. The arms of his trench coat are tore off at the shoulder. He keeps the shirt but gets ripped to make room as his body expands. His arms turn into wings. Nothing happens to his pants or shoes. As a Zapdos hybrid he can fly and store lighting in his body. He's not as strong as the real thing but gains power during a storm or if the real Zapdos is near he'll become even powerful which is a rare thing.

Personality: He can be very cocky but he's very smart, although he's more like a mime...letting his actions do the talking. He's rather an extremest that will do whatever it takes to win. He'll put his body on the line for those he loves and trusts.

Background: Born in Florence a city so small it was never on any maps, he grew up as an only child. He was the city's tech geek. He could fix just about any electronic he was also a part time wrestler just to make some extra money on the side. After he tried and failed to make his own team to rid the world of evil he joined Team Trainer and vowed to serve and portect.

Name: Tanya Rivete

Age: 18

Race: Human; if hybrid later on, Umbreon

Description: Tanya is a bit short for her age, around 4' 8", and somewhat underweight with a childish complexion, making most people confuse her for a child around the mere age of 13 or 14. Her hair is naturally black at the roots and turns into an unnatural shade of blackish-brown to her tips, reaching just above her shoulders in a layered fashion. She has deep brown eyes that match with her lightly tanned skin. For clothing, Tanya dons the optional Team Nox uniform and instead wears a pair of ripped jeans and a black sweatshirt over a white tank top. She has a pair of oval-shaped glasses perched on her nose which help give a hint of maturity around her despite her youthful body.

Personality: Tanya has a high intellect, but still fails to recognize or decipher the simplest of social questions. She analyzes everything, even people's actions, like a computer, using only their surroundings and situations as possible answers. Sometimes she can be kind and a bit clumsy, but when her temper is tried or she is annoyed, she's known for pulling a whip out of nowhere and coming up with constant threats with steely eyes. Tanya is known among her comrades as stubborn and a bit too cheery at times, but every once in a while, she falls into her own little world of depression and moody insults.

Background: Tanya belonged to a family neither rich nor poor in the small town of Beige in the vicinity of Verdanturf Town. Even though she had four other siblings, her family's focus was centered around her, since she was a prodigy, and most of their money was spent sending her to private schools and preparing her for going to a high-ranked government college so she could get a chance at getting a good job. Because even her own teachers highly favored Tanya, she was resented by most of her classmates who only viewed her as a know-it-all.

Tanya soon fell into several states of depression and hated herself several times, wishing she would just be normal. As time passed, Tanya watched her classmates disappear into the world of becoming pokemon masters, even her only two friends. A year after her friends left, when Tanya was 13, she had the opportunity to see her friends again, but was devastated when they didn't recognize her at all, despite the fact that she hadn't changed very much.

She fell into deeper sets of gloom and silence, finally fading from existence even among her family members, who had forgotten her among their excited preparations for her advancing to college even though that moment was years away. In her second year of middle school, Tanya was told by her parents that they had chosen her high school for her and that she would become a lawyer. Angry that she didn't even get to choose her own future, Tanya fell into several tantrums and refused to even look at her parents or eat at the same table with them.

Her parents concluded that she needed to vent her anger for a bit, so they allowed her to get herself a pokemon and do some battling on weekends to calm herself down. Athough it did work in quenching her anger, Tanya still had some rebellious feelings locked inside her and her intense bond with her pokemon, an Umbreon, influenced the feelings even more as the years passed.

It was at Tanya's second year of high school that she slipped away and disappeared with her pokemon in the middle of the night. After traveling around the region with her team for several months, Tanya caught a ferry to Kanto, entering something she never expected when she left home.

Personality: He is very intelligent and is a computer genius. He always thinks before he acts. One of his major problems is that he is easily angered and cannot control his temper. Most of the time, he is very serious. He likes to battle and likes to help other Trainers improve their skills.

Background: As a child, Darien was abandoned by his parents, leaving him to fend for himself. He roamed the streets of Oldale having nothing to do, since dropping out of school. Many other kids used to pick on him, making him very depressed all the time. In short time, he started to hate the world and everyone in it. He then found a Ninetales, and liked her because of her magnificent beauty. Ninetales started to defend him against the bullies and the two became partners. After a while, they started to defend others against the bullies, and let them pay for their wrong. When he was about 18, someone realized Darien’s skills as a battler and his intention to help others. This man referred Darien to Team Trainer. Darien has been associated with Team Trainer ever since. Luckily, when the PHT bomb had hit, Darien was in Hoenn, keeping him clear from the virus. But now, since the virus had been spreading, Darien might be in trouble...

Race: Human. If Hybrid, Moltres.

Description: Raik stands at 6'2" tall, weighs 178 pounds. He has short black hair that sways to the left. He always wears a black coat and long black pants. He wears a dark red shirt inside, and a white singlet with "nX" inside that shirt. He has a pair of sport shoes that he designed itself. It's black and red, and is very intimidating, thus he calls it "The Predator".

Personality: Raik is a very cautious person, perhaps even paranoid. He makes sure not to lean close to the wall when going around a corner, for he is afraid someone might attempt to ambush him. Close friends are not spared of his often irritating actions. A master at chess, he is very intelligent and strategic, preferring to analyse the situation before making his move. He is sometimes too critical of others, however, and this often results in broken relationships.

Background: He has lived with his maternal grandparents since he could remember. He has never seen his parents before, and often dread his parents for leaving him. His grandparents often stand in his parents' defense, telling him they had left him because of their dream: To become Pokemon masters. He did not accept this as a legal reason, and soon hated people with such dreams. He often played chess with his grandparents and would always triumph them with ease. His grandparents, noticing such talent in him, brought him to a school for gifted children. Raik did not get along well with children in the school, he thought they were conformists, puppets manipulated by society. He would not join in games during recess and physical education, he would not pair up with others for group works. It was not long before he was expelled. He was upset and thought he was expelled because he was less intelligent. He was punished for being so disobedient and rude to his peers and educators. He soon escaped from his home, or whatever the name of the prison that confined him was.

Raik wandered the streets. He sought intelligence. He sought power. He sought strength. He often visited a library full of books that talked of folklores and fantasy worlds. One day, when the old librarian found him sleeping at the side of a road, he took him in. The old librarian lived above his library and thus, Raik was able to read the books of the library whenever he wanted to. He became very attached to the librarian because of his fatherliness. However, the librarian was one day killed by strange men who raided his house. These men spoke of many things he didn't understand, such as chemicals and Mewtwo. He knew Mewtwo was a legendary Pokemon, but he didn't know what the librarian had got to do with it. The librarian was stabbed and slashed in front of him as he hid under the table. Such sight should not have been subjected to the eyes of a child, but it was. Raik was greatly affected. He began wandering the streets again. Then, one day, a man came up to him and started chatting. He was intrigued by the man's insight and his ability to tell his thoughts. He was asked to join his team, Team Nox, a team dedicated to engulfing the world in perpetual darkness, both visually and mentally. He was attracted. Without hesitation, he joined the team.

Raik performed well in Nox, taking control of several major missions and completing them with ease. He rose through the ranks, albeit slowly, and was soon the assistant leader. He was working on an experiment underground to give Sharpedo wings when the missile hit Saffron, so he was not affected. He was amazed that such power existed, to affect the world so greatly. He craved for such power. And he would get it.

To bad it doesn't say that anywhere. It's a background it's past not the future. It's not like it's gonna be used any ways. Really....don't make it anymore diffacult then it really needs to be. I might add to it yes....but I won't change it. Don't like it..tough it's my character.

Name: Patrick Costello

Age: 22

Race: Human (If hybrid, Machoke)

Description: Patrick is 5'11, about 175. He has brown curly hair, that alot of people would llike for him to cut. But, he feels that it defines Patrick, and he's not going to let other people change him for what they want out of him. He has big brown eyes, that he uses for puppy dog looks if he needs to with the girls.

Personality: Patrick is always depressed. He walks around with his head down alot. He tries to shut people out of his life, that's why he lived in a raggedy aparment by himself, just him and his 3 Pokemon, UNTIL he met members of Team Trainer that helped him get back on his feet and piece his life back together. The only things that cheer him up when he's down are, his Pokemon and his guitar. He plays his guitar constantly, he plays for other members of Team Trainer if he's asked. Trainer treats him as the baby of the group because of his depression, if anyone messes with him, he usually has Team Trainer to get him out of it.

Background: Patrick didn't have a rough childhood. In fact, it was great. Once he got to highschool, he started to hang around with the wrong crowd. he got help and he wanted to get away from this group of friends, but they wouldn't have it. So, they jumped him on his way home one night, they beat him up bad. He hasn't been the same since, jumping at his own shadow, scared pomeranians, anything that he fears could hurt him. He met a few members of Team Trainer on his way home one night who had broken down, he told him he was a repairman and he managed to fix their car in about 30 minutes. and didn't charge them a dime. They told him to come to Trainer with them because they needed a repairman, he was lonely and depressed so he decided to start his life over, he went home, grabbed his guitar and his Pokemon and went wit hTeam Trainer to their facility.

Pokemon:

Porygon2 (Daffy): Patrick uses Daffy for helping him repair numerous things. He got him when he was in middle school as a present from his parents, he was his first Pokemon ever.

Charmeleon (Panic!): Patrick got Panic! to help him weld things down, he named him after one of his favorite bands.

Growlithe (Diesel): Patrick got Diesel strictly as a pet, he doesn't use him for anything. He's just a buddy to have around the house who is rarely in a Pokeball. He's also a great guard dog.

Team: Team Trainer

Other: Patrick is amazing with tools, he can fix anything, or shut anything down without completely destroying it.

Race: Salamence

Description: Human:Shairii is about 5'6'' tall and around 100 lbs, though she doesn't look sickly. She has a sleek and lean build, with well defined muscles that aren't really noticable until she's doing some sort of hard labor, or dealing with high emotions. Her hair hangs about halfway done her back and is a dark bloodred color. Her bangs hang into her eyes, which are an unusual gray-red color. She wears light-colored cotton clothes and Japanese wooden sandles. A small pack on her hip holds her money and more important items, while a specially designed belt holds her PokeBalls. She's quite pretty.
Hybrid: When she is in hybrid form, Shairii sports two red wings and golden eyes, as well as claws on her fingers and toes. Her body is also covered in blue scales, and she gains a long, thick blue tail. She gets one long red horn over each eye, and two frills on her face, one on each side.

Personality: Shairii is very kind and soft-spoken, and most of them time people assume that she's timid. But she's far from shy, as becomes obvious when she's excited (whether from joy, anger, grief, whatever). She can be very stubborn and hot-headed, but the one thing that shines about her is her loyalty. She'd die for anyone she cares for without thought, and this deep bond between those she loves can get her into a lot of trouble. She's a persistant soul who never gives up on what she believes in, and always comes through no matter what. Her intelligence is average, but when it comes to coming up with battle strategies, she's probably one of the best.

Background: Shairii's life was rather uneventful and bland until she was five, when she was visiting the Safari Zone in Fuschia with her mother and father. They were watching a group of Nidorino, Rhydon, and Scyther eating in the same area when one of the Nidorino suddenly charged at her. Much to everyone's surprise and relief, an older Scyther lunged before the angry Pokemon and knocked him away, looking very angry. After a short battle, the Nidorino backed off and the Scyther refused to leave Shairii's side. He left the Safari Zone with them and became a second father to the young girl. He was also Shairii's first Pokemon, though it wasn't official until she was ten.

After that, it seemed adventure and excitement followed Shairii everywhere. Oftentimes it was because some wild Pokemon are another was attacking her for whatever reason. But with Scyther by her side, she was never hurt except for the occasional scratches and scrapes a child naturally gets.

When she was nine, Shairii lost her mother to leukemia and for nearly three months went into a severe state of depression. Finally, desperate the see his child smile again, her father got her birthday present early. It turned out to be a new-born Houdour, barely a few days old. He managed to get it from a Breeder after assuring him that the helpless pup would be well cared for.

It worked. After being told she was in complete care of the tiny black-and-orange Pokemon, Shairii's depression slipped away. As her days were filled with feeding, cleaning, cleaning, and watching out for the Houndour pup, the girl had no time to mourn as deeply as she had over her mother's death. Scyther also seemed happy, as he was just as worried for Shairii as her father had been.

At ten, with her now-weaned but still-growing Houndour pup and her trusty Scyther friend, Shairii left home to start her Pokemon journey. It took her about three years, but finally her Houndour evolved into a powerful Houndoom, and she also managed to raise a Milotic.

At the age of eighteen, Shairii learned of the Dark Angels and was instantly obsessed with joining them. Their ideals spoke to her, beckoned her to join the cause. Her Pokemon fully supported her decision, and so she went to join the team. She managed to get in, and she and her Pokemon spent a night in celebration. It was at this time that Shairii named her Pokemon, to mark the beginning of their new lives.

Now, at the age of nineteen, Shairii and her friends are entering into a new world, one where Pokemon and human aren't so different. However, she isn't worried about the PHT virus, and neither are her Pokemon. They all figure that if Shairii is infected, it might actually help them to find the crystals and keep them from others that may try and use them for evil. Of course, it could always make things harder...

Pokemon: Shiko- male Scyther: Shairii met Shiko in the Fuschia City Safari Zone when a wild Nidorino attacked her out of the blue. He protected her and then left with her to stay by her side forever. At first, he was just a friend and a guardian to Shairii, but after the young girl started her Pokemon journey he became a power and valubale asset to her team. He is extremely loyal to her and would die before letting any harm befall her.
Sharudon- male Houndoom: Sharudon was given to Shairii as a tiny, new-born Houndour pup when Shairii was nine. The main point of her recieving the young Pokemon before her birthday (he was meant to be Shairii's B-Day present) was to help lift her out of her depression after the loss of her mother. Since she was always so busy taking care of the pup, she didn't have time to sit around mourning as she had, and by the time she was old enough to go on her Pokemon adventure, she'd gotton over the sadness. Sharudon has such a deep bond with his Trainer that Shairii can easily understand his words. He's tough and loyal, though he often acts like mean and vicious. It's just a ruse though, and those who know him know how kind at heart he is.
Miki- Female Milotic: Shairii met Miki when she was a Feebas, at the age of 13. The then-ugly Pokemon had been abandoned in a quickly-drying pond to the side of the road, and was running out of oxygen in the dwindling puddle around her. Shairii quickly caught the small fish and took her to a Pokemon Center to get her checked out. It was found that the Feebas had a strange disease that could only be cured through expensive medicine and long hours of endless care and patience. Against the doctor's advice, Shairii took the Pokemon under her care and nursed her back to health. Having been dotted upon for months, the Feebas's beauty was lifted and on the day she overcame her illness, the Pokemon evolved into a Milotic. Grateful to Shairii for caring for her, she is a fierce fighter in battle but a very gentle creature at heart. Her loyalty to not only Shairii but Sharudon and Shiko (who helped care for her) knows no bounds.

Team: Dark Angels: Renegade Knights

Other: Shairii is excellent at coming up with battle plans for herself and others. She has many formations that take into account the various strengths and weaknesses of her Pokemon, and for a small fee can make powerful strategies for others.

If Bron allows Hybrids on the team, I'll update this with a description for Shairii's Hybrid form.

Both rust ans Kenny did the samee thing. I can see this as a good thing for your charecter, but it isn't great to see it too often.
Incorrect. My character was never abandoned. Kent's father lived with him before his death, and he merely remarried. Also note that even after his father's death, he lived with his relatives who took the two half-siblings in. This is hardly "abandoned".

Come on, coming up with a few sentences for background really isn’t that hard, we’re not talking about a ten page report here. In the time you’ve spent complaining, you could have made a really good background already.

Honestly, my big problem with it is that many of the RPers that never took part in season 1’s RP haven’t got a clue of who Syrus is or what the TMA was about. You’re better off leaving nothing to prevent confusion. Still though, I’d like to see at least something.

This isn’t so hard, everyone else did it without a problem, why can’t you?

Just so everyone knows, every team has accepted both humans and hybrids in their ranks. I talked to Bron and Zenaku yesterday and they both agreed on having both humans and hybrids for their teams.

Okay, a couple things about Ditto hybrids before everyone decides to choose it thinking they can kick the RP rules in the crotch. ;)

1. While you are a hybrid of a Ditto, you CAN NOT transform to become a hybrid of anything else or transform into any Pokémon. Hybrids don’t gain full powers of the Pokémon they’re a hybrid of. Someone could be hybrid of a Ho-oh, but that doesn’t mean their Sacred Fire attack is going to be just as vicious as the real thing from Ho-oh itself.

2. With #1 in mind, you CAN, however, transform back into your human self and LOOK human. There is a benefit to this. You can make those around you think you’re not a hybrid. You can also freely walk around Kanto and Johto and not worry about infection because you’re already a hybrid. This grants you access to the best of both worlds.

Description: Rocket is about 5’2” and only 125 lbs. Her hair is a dark brown color and only goes about a shoulder length down. She wears the standard Team Trainer uniform.

Personality: Rocket is a kind hearted person. She will gladly help anyone and anything (unless they are the enemy) that needs it. There are times she will get angry but that never lasts too long. Though she is very kind hearted she is also very timid and quiet. She speaks only when she feels it is necessary or if she is spoken to.

Background: Her life was never good. She ran away from home many years ago to escape her mother. Her mother is very demanding and can be more intimidating then a Salamence on a bad day. She would force Rocket to do things that Rocket hated and wasn’t good at. She made her take classes at Pokemon Tech to become a Nurse. But Rocket didn’t want to be a nurse. She wanted to be a Pokemon Researcher and travel the world in search of new, undiscovered Pokemon. But her mother wouldn’t let her. She had a grip around Rockets throat so tight that it took Rocket nearly 12 years to escape. She took a ship from Mossdeep City in the Hoenn Region over to Olivine City in the Jhoto Region. She didn’t stay in Olivine for a long time. Only about a week. She traveled over to Ecruteak City where she stayed for two years. Following her on her travels was her first Pokemon. A small Meowth by the name of Coin. She had received him when she attended Pokemon Tech back in Mossdeep City. Her mother hated Coin only because he wasn’t a Pokemon that a Pokemon Nurse would have. She has tried everything in her power to dispose of Coin (even if it means killing him). This was one of the reasons that Rocket left. She had become so attached to Coin that she hates to be away from him. She also never stays in one city or town for too long. She is terrified that her mother is following her. She was recruited by Team Trainer since they wanted some more people who were highly knowledgeable about Pokemon. Rocket may be on Team Trainer now and protected from harm but, she worries that her mother is still following her.

Coins past is very dark. Darker then Rockets. Before he met Rocket he was used in Pokemon Tech as a battle slave. He was forced to fight Pokemon nearly three times his size and he never got any breaks. He would be forced to fight for hours on end. This was secretly being done by some students. They saw he was weak and figured that they would mess with him since he wouldn’t be able to defend himself very well. This went on for so long that, Coin was very much on the brink of death. They fed him only twice a week and gave him water by pouring it on his fur. They basically tortured him the entire time he lived there. When Rocket saw his, she immediately rushed in and took Coin from the battle he was in against a third year students Machamp. She reported what was going on and received Coin as her Pokemon for the time she stayed at the school. Ever since that day, Coin and Rocket have been inseparable. And there is nothing in the world that will draw Coin away from Rocket. Because not only are they so close to one another but, Rocket saved his life. And in a way, he saved hers.

I highly recommend making it more designed toward creating a character that will play an effective role in the RP, not really serve as a kind of “joke character.” Like I said, please take this RP seriously, that’s how most people prefer to approach it.

Race: Ninjask Hybrid

Description: He wears a camouflage-print jacket with a silver silken shirt underneath. This jacket was a reject from a Kevlar integration process that only was able to integrate Kevlar into a vew vital patches. His hair is well combed in the front, only to be completely spiked up and wrecked in the back. He wears dark red contact lenses that illuminate in reaction to anger. His pants are tan jeans that are stained with various types of dark-colored dyes in an attempt to "perfect his new image". The remains of a leather jacket are like a pair of shoulder guards that adorn his shoulders and neck. He has three, thin sacks, one strapped around his neck and the other two hanging from his shoulders. These hold his belongings, and were made by himself in his inventing days. He also carries a stealth weapon that can fire a small electric charge, powerful enough to paralyze for 10 minutes. His body was mutated, so that he can see a much wider range of wavelengths, and a hard, shiny, skin-tone X rises from his face. His wings are powerful enough to lift his coat when flying, and fast enough to keep him aloft. This rapid wing movement allows him to "hover". His mouth is nearly invisible, and patches of his skin have become hard and black.

Personality: He used to be calm and collected in any situation, until many of his family members began to die from an uncontrollable strain of the flu. He changed for the worse, becoming withdrawn and violent. This old personality shows through when he is confronted with no obvious escapes from a conflict. He is generally kind at heart, though he is always trying to mask it. He will on occasion help old ladies across the street or catch balloons that little kids let loose, as long as nobody he feels to have ties to his "acquaintances" is around. He is ashamed of this side of himself. Normally he tries to portray a bada ss attitude, to impress others. Becoming part Ninjask was a major blow to his reputation, though he managed soon to deal with it, even using it to his advantage. He normally keeps quiet, but almost anything can trigger his angry emotions to well up. He is capable of keeping these under control.

Background: When he was 18, his extended family nearly all died from a horrible strain of the flu. His mother died as well, leaving him with a little brother and a father who was always at work. Seeking solace with his friends, he was changed, becoming more violent, believing that this would help him deal with his pain. It didn't. Trying to get away from it all, he went with his rich friend to a cruise to Cinnabar. Becoming lost, he was stranded, befriending a strange native man who told him stories of a prophecy, that explained how 7 crystals would be stolen from Orre, and would be taken to Kanto by greedy men. This seemed to correspond with the rumors floating around. Returning to his hometown, Celadon, he became infected with PHT, and became half Ninjask. A desperate group of scientists managed to kidnap him, and preformed tests enough to, although trying to eliminate the PHT, enhanced it. This results in frequent, unconscious reversions to full Ninjask during the night, leaving him with no memory of what he did. He joined Team Nox, though never truly being into it. He was summoned to its HQ for an emergency briefing one day...

Physical Description: He is 6’ 1’’ tall and his body has some muscles on it, not very well defined though. He is tanned because he spent lots of his time outside on his racecar. His hair is in a “roll out of bed style” usually and every once in a while he gets a haircut. His hair is black. He wears a pair of rimless glasses that change tint with the light around him. His clothing is made up of t-shirts, jeans, and tennis shoes. While at work he brings a white lab coat to use if he’s experimenting with chemicals.

Hybrid Description: Jason grows to a towering 7'2'', and his skin becomes comparable to blue leather, over major joints it grows so hard it is as strong as granite. Three Red Knife-Like Protrusions grow out of his upper back. Jason's Mouth doubles in size and his jaws can unhinge and rehinge themselves at will allowing his mouth to open in a large 1 foot gap. His canines grow sharper, however his other teeth stay the same shape, but are larger and are able to replace themselves indefinitely. He grows a long tail with the same knife-like protrusions on the end on it. His legs are larger and allow for large leaps and faster sprints. Through the mutation however his hands were untouched and are still as small as they used to be, this is most likely due to the fact that he used his hands in many day-to-day activities. His nails are stronger, sharper and regrow faster but still are manageable by regular nail scissors. Overall the mutation has bulked him to a point where a hit from his own car going top speed would easily by cast aside as a bruise. (The same however could hardly be said for the card, who's front would crumple like tin foil.)

Personality: He grew up without a lot of social attention so he rarely starts up conversations for much other then business and work. He’s trying to talk about other things but nothing interests him more then his technology. He can get irritated if someone is being rude to him and will strike back if provoked. Most of the time he is in the background and passive.

History: He grew up as a child who was not popular, more then that, nobody even noticed him. He was the kid who was the one who was not remembered for the mandatory Valentine’s Day card giving where you had to give everyone in the class a card or not give any at all. This lead to him growing up recluse and because his parents thought he should grow up learning about something he could earn a living off of he decided to spend his free time studying, his favorite subjects turned out to be Mechanics, Chemistry and Programming.

Once he reached high-school however his whole life changed, there was a after school program that brought kids together to try to build a machine with hope that they would get extra credit. Jason, even though he didn’t need the extra credit thought that through this he could meet some like-minded individuals. Only 4 other people showed up and 3 left a week later, he and Jack Storm, a popular kid who loved soccer and need the extra credit, became the best of friends. They with the help of the teacher constructed a go-cart. Jack who didn’t need to work on it anymore after getting the credit left Jason the cart to do with as he pleased. Jason did, he knew what he wanted to do, and he was going to construct the world’s fastest racecar. Working on its design through high school and college he ended up with a working car that could compete with a regular car you could find anywhere. Jason wanted more, after graduating out of college he applied for all the companies he could to finance his findings farther.

International Personal Computer Incorporated agreed to finance his racecar idea. And while Jason happily worked with other scientists and mechanics to “pimp his ride”, the brains behind the company, Bron Krad, thought he might be a great recruit for the
