This thread has been changed to help those who have had trouble with the rules of Tms and items, including me.

Everybody will be allowed ONE TM OR ITEM for each Pokemon that they have rented for this tournament. They may use HMs that they already own, as well as items that they already own.

Everybody in the tournament will recieve a $10,000 to use for either TMs or items on their tournament Pokemon. If you wish to spend more, the rest of the money must come from you, yourself. (VT, just take the 10,000 and stick it in your stats). If you don't use the money by the time you are eliminated, the full sum, or the change, will come back to me.

When you go to the mart, just mention $10,000 of what you spend, or less, depending on how much you use, is your tournament money.

Here, you will also be registering your TMs, so I can add them to the stats. You may also PM me or IM me. If they are not registered, they cannot be used in battle (refs take note of this).

First Bracket:

Nightbreaker vs CB- I think NB will come out on top here. It's a tough choice but in the end, I feel the dragons will prevail. NB

Mikey vs Ball-Staryu? Ball, what were you thinking? It looks to me like Mikey will have this battle. Sharpedo might give him a bit of trouble though. It is a fast little booger, not to mention a dark type. =P Mikey

IT vs Fingy-This should be interesting. IT is using some interesting pokes, definatly out of the ordinary. I don't want to be doubtful of IT's skills, but I think Fingy will come up on top. Fingy

Mana vs Shane- No offense to Shane, but this is Mana's match. The only problem is Shane has the type advantage here. Steel vs Normal? Mana will need to use some TMs to win this one I think. Mana

Second Bracket:

Megumi vs ER-Skill wise, Megumi has this battle down. Starmie should prove tough to ER's pokes but then again Breloom has a type advantage. Heracross can knock Starmie down too. I still have to go with Megumi though.Megumi

VT vs Young Link-Link, I love ya, but I believe VT has this battle. Aero will probably give him a little trouble, but knowing VT...well, Snorlax > you. VT

Tamer vs Elfenbow- Tamer definatly has the type advantage here. FS is the underdog in this battle, but I wouldn't underestimate him. Though, given the types and pokemon used, I have to say Tamer. Tamer

Pokemofan2k vs Fenix- I don't know a ton about PF2k, but I know how hard Fenix works. Given the pokemon used, I'll have to say Fenix will come out on top here. Fenix

Oh, and please, refs and battlers...please, invite me to the battles. I would love typing up detailed summeries for as many battles as I can. Give me some part in this tourny. =)

The first round of this tournament will now begin. I have (literally) drawn names out of a hat to create the roster.

Refs, the only set rule is 3v3, the rest of the rules are up to the opponents. Check the Sign-up thread for all of the rules of battle, as well as the trainers' tournament stats (Pokemon and Items). Post the battle results here.

Trainers! If you have any items or TMs you wish to attach to your Pokemon, you MUST PM me, so I can update the stats, or they cannot be used in these battles.

Megumi, well no offense to magumis powers of water and all but i think ill do some sleep whoring. plus i think that my Breloom and Heracross will do a great job. and Medicham has thunder punch so i think ill lcome out on top by a small bit. but magumi will want revenge for me getting Kyogre VPP, so itll be close

Edit, I am sersiouly against TMs and Held Items in this tourny, to be able to use a TMless Pokemon is what makes you a real Pokemon trainer...anyone can win with the TMs :\

It's a mono-type tourny, seeing a Snorlax using Thunderbolt, Surf and Flamethrower and Shadowball and Brickbreak....lol...he is not a normal Pokemon anymore :P

Maybe have the tournament sponsor, say, $10000 per person to buy TM/HMs with to put on any of their pokemon in any fashion they desire, and at the end, since only one person can keep the pokemon, no one really gains from the $10000?

That'd keep the playing field rather even, and TMing your poke becomes more of a strategic choice than a "I'm doing it cuz I can" choice?

Sponsoring sounds like a good idea, as long as the members don't use the money for anything but TMs.
