Should I use=

Kyogre - It learns water spout and its natural rain dance makes thunder accuracy %100
Wailord - It learns water spout and has alot of HP, More HP= More damage
Wailrein - Can learn sheer cold and fissure (through breeding) with a lock on - baton passer theres a killer on the loose
Lapras - Good hp, can learn psychic + thunder

are there any others to consider? thanks

I'd say Kyogre, because it has lots of advantages compared to the others.

Ugh [Insert my name here just take out master] or Starmie.Dude Lapras is good but give it Thunderbolt not Thunder.

Try milotic high spc attack high speed high hp and great moves like mirror coat, recover, hypnosis. It's also okey to use lapras I once thought it as well but don't forget that it won't have resistance to fire type and will be weak against fighting type. Kygore takes all the fun as it's a legendary.BTW how can you make the trainer card signatures I want one too.

Starmie is a great water pokemon. It is more common then Milotic, and since you can't get Lapras on R/S/E...

Kyogre is the obvious choice being a legendary. However, I would personally recommend milotic or possibly a well trained starmie. It has psychic as well which is a very effective move.

Mewtwo, Lati@s, espeon, are good for psychic.Mewtwo can also learn thunder but go with thunder bolt.Starmie is a strong pokemon though my suggestion for starmie:
starmie with scope lenses

Thunder bolt
surf
ice beam
psychic

I use
milotic with mystic water (hope that I wrote it right)

ice beam
surf
mirror coat
recover

which is really strong.

Milotic or Starmie, please. Both Wailord and Walrein have horrible defensive stats and can be taken down in a hit or two, and I suppose you can use Kyogre if you want to beat the game easily.

Starmie and Milotic are extremely powerful and hard to take down if you raise them right.

Kingdra try that if you can trade i <3 it :D

but kingdra is also a dragon type.Don't make your dragon type choice wasted.Go with salamence, dragonite or lati@s for dragon type

All of which would get murdered by one good Ice Beam. You shouldn't underestimate Kingdra.

and they can all be murdered by one good dragon claw.I don't underestimate kingdra but I think that it's a type waste pokemon.

A Dragon type would survive a Dragon Claw or two, but not an Ice attack, seeing as two of the ones you posted have a 4x weakness to it. Kingdra's probably the only Dragon that doesn't have a glaring weakness against it.

Why should it be a "type waste"? You could always put two Dragons on your team, if you like them that much.

It's that you will have double advantage against a dragon type if you use both starmie or milotic and dragonite or salamence in your party.you can take down a dragon pokemon down (which are the strongest type in the game) with your water type pokemon's ice beam and you won't risk your dragon type pokemon while doing that. NO offence

walrein all the way, besides with it's water/ice combo fire is normal and fighting pokemon r usually slow. so if you chose walrein you might as well forget about kyogre...

Umm...

If you want a legendary:
Kyogre @Chesto
WaterSpout
Thunder
Rest
IceBeam

If you want a non-legendary water type:
Starmie@ Lefties
Surf
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Recover

or...

Milotic @ lefties
Surf
IceBeam
Mirror Coat
Counter, or a filler

If you want kingdra which IS good (no matter its vunerability to DragonClaw)
Kingdra @ Leftovers, Ability=SwiftSwim
Surf
IceBeam
RainDance
[filler]

And, if you want a straight-up awesome special sweeper:

Latios @Soul Dew
DragonClaw
IceBeam
Psychic
Recover

(The last one is my fave  )

Water Spout isn't on the amount of HP it's the percentage. You can't BP a lock on or a mind reader that doesnt make any sense. Mind reader/ Lock On make the next move always hit, BP is a move. The only pokemon that can mind reader-sheer cold are Articuno and Smeargle.

If your going for OHKO moves i suggest this Lapras:

Lapras (M) @ Leftovers or Shell Bell (because OHKO's will give you lots of health)
Trait: Shell Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Horn Drill
- Rest
- Sheer Cold
- Sleep Talk

Pretty obvious what to do. I'm too lazy to post somethin better

I actually believe someone foind a good 1hko pokemon here! It's the first time I'm actually impressed.

But, this defeats a water pokemon's purpose. If he wants a water type, it's probably to gain advantage to a team with its advantages of type and attacks.

I also used that killing combo of Articuno in my emerald but you get bored after a while. No challange at all.If you will take kingra:

surf
icebeam
rain dance
Thunder (I guess it learns but not sure)

I personally prefer Kingdra out of the Water Pokemon everyone's listed...

Salamence or Flygon can easily be taken down by Ice types and other Dragon types.

Now let's look at Kingdra who doesn't have a weakness to Ice types and has a weakness to Dragon types. Of course with Kingdra being a water type also it opens other weaknesses but it saves room in your party and Kingdra's Attack and Sp. Attack stats are phenomenal.

If your looking for a water type. Golduck would be the best choice as it is a water/ground type.

Nope! King;s ONLY weakness is dragon. Weakness to ice in Dragon is canceled by water's resistance. And, Water's weakness to grass and Elec is canceled by Dragon's resistance. It's actually one of the best typesets in the game (the best being Sableye with NO weakness, and 3 immunities. Too bad it sucks! )

Even though how much i h8 kingdra i hav 2 agree that it is a good type of pokemon to have if your looking for water.

The reason for this is it gets rid of one major element that makes dragon pokemon look like a joke ICE.
