You need to capture some random pokemon, show it to an old bastard in Pacifidlog, and if he says something different of what he says usually, the Mirage island appears.

Please, refrain from cussing; there are little kids in this forum, and you wouldn't want the forum losing members from angry parents deciding that it is a bad influence, and "banning" them from the forum.

And, to increase chances of getting into Mirage Island, trade with a lot of people, and bring him at least one pokemon from each person every day (you may need to return a few times with a new party).

Not won, but traded. Everything else is correct, though. But, one of your own pokemon will increase your chances as well.
