It wasn't long ago, unless 500 or so years seems long to you, that the world of Pokemon had a touch chocie to make. They didn't know wethier or not the world should be awake at the time of light(day) or during the cold hours of darkness(night).

The chocie would be made simply. There was a shrine with a little box inside it. If a sun stone was placed in the box, daytime would rule out night. But if a moon stone, darkness would have the honor.

Many wanted darkness, mainly the Pokemon who perferred the cold feeling of being alone. But more Pokemon were for being awake when they could absorb sunlight and feel the warmth of happiness. So, with the chocie over with, life went its new state of light.

But the dark Pokemon were almost jealous, though they wouldn't admit it. They thought darkness should rule. So, for 500 years they planned to switch the sun stone with a moon stone. But how? Pokemon didn't have thumbs so would be unable to open the box now that it was shut. Humans were needed.

But, most humans enjoyed sunshine, so the dark Pokemon started a quest to find humans interested in darkness. It was hard, but they found some.
Along the way, though, other humans found of their plan. It would take a long time to get to the shrine which topped Silver Mountain, but they had to get there to protect the sun stone.

Now it is your turn to choose what side you'll be on. Darkness of Light?

History: She was visited by a dark Pokemon, asking for help, but didn't follow the Dark Pokemon. She left on her own to make sure no wars broke out.

History: Crobat, was captured after a long battle, but the odd thing was that he could talk with a high pitched annoying voice, he had much to say about the darkness... Blue smirked and followed him after he was captured. Crobat stays outside the pokeball directing Blue where to go.

Personality: Nice, fair, not short-tempered.
Looks: Black hair, wears black and red clothes, has dark brown eyes, and has okay skin.
History: (Just tell mildly how you found out about the plan and why you chose whatever side you're on) Grandmother told the story to me. I liked sun, since it had Vitamin D and stuff in it. I wanted to keep it!

Personality: Stubborn, Anti-Social. Dislikes anything other than Darkness.

History: Not much known except he trained his best friend Absol for most of his life. Absol somehow heard about the plan, and knew his Trainer would want in on the plan.

Age: 20 (technically, I think he's several thousand, but for the sake of this RP, I'll make him 20)

Pokemon: Flygon, Venusaur, and ??? (I was thinking perhaps a kyogre egg, but since it would be recently hatchted, it would have legendary powers)
For Light or Dark?: Nethier/dark (He has had a feeling, tht something momentus is coming, and he journies towards where the feeling grows stronger, he'll probably be nuetral, or dark)
Personality: Calm, cool, collective, and cunning.
Looks: Uhm, I'm not sure if I can acuratley describe his looks, but he is my avatar and sig.
History: He is training to become the ultimate warrior, with a mix of mental and physical combat, and he trains with his pokemon to reach that goal. (he has some psychic powers, but nothing really unbalancing)

Somewhere In Blackthorn

Satou stood outside the Blackthorn Pokemon Center, looking pointlessly at the map on her PokeGear. She'd heard gossip of a plan to switch the sun stone with a moon stone and knew this wasn't good news. She was the peace keeping type, the type that usually stood in between two battlers and got hurt.

Missy floated over her head, smiling brightly at Satou's gloomy state. If Satou was said Missy got happy, a major clue into figuring out how Satou was feeling. Meepy, the pink fleeced MAreep, made a quiet baaing sound to try and get her sad trainer's attention.
"What'll we do, guys? You know very well we aren't that strong. We'll get beaten up if we Mt.Silver..."
Meepy shrugged and Missu hummed happily, floating in circles. "Should we go...?"
Meepy nodded. Missy didn't care.

Meanwhile, in Vermillion City . . .

Calvin's POV:

I was watching the news when I saw it. The picture showed many Dark Pokémon around a box, desperatly trying to open it. I recognized the box as the box that held the Sun Stone, keeping the sun out.

My grandmother had told me the legend.

I quickly dashed outside. I sent out Alakazam.

"Teleport me to Viridian City -- quick!" I commanded.

When I got there, I headed for the guardhouse that led to Mt. Silver. The guard let me through, for I had come here many times to train.

Unfortunately, when I got to the mouth of Mt. Silver, a very strong Dark Pokémon was standing there. Mewtwo.

It merely raised its paw and Teleported me somewhere.

The last thing I remembered was landing in front of a girl.

[Satou]

"Huh?" Satou yelped, noticing a young boy had just appeared in front her. She screamed and hopped to her feet, holding her hands out in front of her as if to protect herself.
"Yeeek! What the heck?! Who are you and how'd you get here?!" She screamed, face red and eyes narrowed a bit, fixed on the boy.

Missy laughed, enjoying Satou's fear. The little ghost floated around Satou's head and Satou's mood went from scared to annoyed.
"Missy, why do you always do that?!" Satou asked firmly, glaring darkly at the ghost. Missy didn't care, but seemed to enjoy these cruel feelings.

I was taking a vacation from my training in jhoto, without any gear of any sort, beyond some pokebals, my clothes, and my sword, when one day, an egg I had found inside an underground lake began to shudder violently, when it hatched, I saw a bright pinkish-purple (will turn to blue soon as it outgrows hatchling-ness) pokemon, it looked like a fish with wings rather than fins, I bent down closer, then jumped backwards in shock, it was kyogre, or at least, a child of one. "ky" it squeaked, and levitated up and settled on my shoulder and fell asleep.

"I'd better find the nearest city, and see if I can find any more information about this pokemon." I though. "Flygon, go." I said tossing out a pokeball, and out came my flygon, who had an almost scary ability to catch fish, and said "We're going to need to find the nearest city, I have no idea how to care for one of these." I said, pointing to the pokemon on my shoulder. Flygon bent close to it, sniffed it, and said "Fly, flyflygon" "Well, I'm glad you aprove" I said, a small smile on my face.

After getting the young kyogre into a pokeball, flygon flew me up, and when we spotted a town, we landed nearby. I read the sign, and said "Blackthorn eh? this is as good a place to start as any." I said. Then I walked into the city.

I got up and brushed myself off.

"Sorry for disturbing you, ma'am," I said politely. "Some Mewtwo Teleported me here when I tried to get to the top o' Mt. Silver."

[Satou]

"Oh. Teehee. I was gonna up there too!" Satou said happily, grinning. Missy frowned, wanting someone to come scare Satou again. "So, why are you going up up there?"

[Blue]

It was another dream... black clouds covering up the sun at a fast pace... and there I was, right at the apex holding up something... I don't know exactly what it was. I was rudely awoken by Crobat my newly caught pokemon. "Get up!" he screeched.
I groned and got out of bed and I went to the window and peaked through the blinds. The light came shining in and i quickly pulled away from it. Ugh the light was so bright. Then it hit me, I had no idea where I was, "Crobat, where are we right now?"
"I believed I heard some humans call it Blackthorn..."
"Blackthorn, eh?" I said while putting on my suit and grabbing my 3 pokeballs, one was empty of course and also equipping my katana. I put on my sunglasses to cover my red eyes and left the room where I was staying.
"Ah I hate the light!" Crobat screeched as we stepped out. I hit him swifly over the head afterward. Some people turned their heads but I tried to oretend nothing had occured.
"Don't speak! You want to attract attention or something?" I wished harshly in Crobat's ear.
"Fine, I'll be quiet for now."
Just as I took a few more steps I felt a very strong presence about me. When I looked up there was another man at the enterance of the village. He looked about my age if not older. Heh things could get intresting....

[Sephiroth]

I walked into the nearest pokemon center, and had nurse joy examine the kyogre, when she came back, she said that it was in perfect health, but there was no record of kyogre needing nourishment. I thanked her, and then gave over my flygon and venusaur for a checkup before I started out again, and waited in the lounge.

Of course, I regretted bringing my sword, because that attracted a lot of stares.

'I had been travelling for years now, ever since Absol found out about a plan concerning a Moon stone. You see, we lived far from the Region of Johto, and we had no means of transportation. But then again, did i even care? Probably not. Me and Deathscythe have been through a lot these past few years, and we have gotten a lot stronger thanks to our journey. It seems that once the plan is finished, we'll have been rewarded in more ways than one.'

"Deathscythe, Slash Attack!"

'This Solrock won't stand a chance against Deathscythe...'

Deathscythe leapt into the Air with his Razor Sharp Scythe pointing towards Solrock. Right before the attack hit, Solrock used a headbutt, sending Deathscythe a few feet back, before he regained his balance.

"Alright Deathscythe, use our special move!"

Deathscythe immediately started to use agility, and ran towards Solrock at top speed. He leapt up towards the waiting Solrock, but before Solrock could attack, Absol disappeared. Solrock became confused. Sudenly, Deathscythe reapeared behind Solrock, and used his claws to rebound off a tree.

"Now! Slash Attack!"

Deathscythe used its razor sharp Scythe, and slashed through one of the rocks on Solrock.

"Since you create bio-electromagnetic field to defy gravity, i'm guessin' those rocks arent just for decoration... Which means..."

Solrock dropped to the ground since his magnetic field had been disrupted.

'This is too easy'

"C'mon Deathscythe, let's go... We should be arriving at Viridian soon, then its only a matter of time before we get to Mt.Silver..."

[Satou]

Satou paused, looking at Calvin. The wind tugged at her hair and Missy squeeled in joy, tasting the feeling of fear coming through the wind. Satou paused, wondering what was happening when Missy took off, floating in the direction of Silver Mountain.

"Missy! Come back!" Satou yelled, running after her insane ghost Pokemon "MISSY!!!" Missy kept floating, slowly heading towards the source of the fear. There were dark Pokemon wandering through the streets, sniffing out hopeful canidates for their quest.
Satou gulped, trying to get by them, but they took a great deal of interest in her and Missy.

There I was standing in the street, Crobat hovering around my head. The man I felt a prenense around seemed to not have noticed me and walked off into a pokecenter. Maybe I'll meet him again...

I walked out of the town and I felt a chill, the time had almost come. Crobat thinks he is the one controling me, but the truth is, this was my plan all along. Heh, darkness was always my goal, sadness consuming the world? That is what I would like the most. Crobat just helped me find a way to do this, I really don't care for his past, why he can talk or not, but it makes him more human than pokemon, he is a perfect compainion for this trip. I grined as I left Blackthorn and headed towards Mt. Silver. I felt a wind then... a wind of change...

I was heading to Slateport, to catch a ship to Olivine, when I was intercept my an old friend.

"Van, what you doing here?"
"I am heading to the Shrine, and you?"
"I heading there too :smile: . I going to destroy all evil"

"Because, I belong to the Team Dark, an organizationthat is gathering all Dark trainers and pokemon, to fight against, the light side."

I was a little disapponted right now. I had come so far, to fight such weak Pokemon? I doubt there are any Pokemon along the way that would pose any threat to me, or Deathscythe. As i walked along the pathway, into Viridian, i noticed someone lurking around some trees. He seemed to be waiting for someone, or maybe, he was waiting for me?

"Come out, i don't have time to play game..."

The guy came out of the trees almost instantaneously. I then recognised him, as beaing a member of Team Nox.

"What do you want?"

"Sir, i have brought a message from the Leader"

"What is it this time? If you can't already notice, i'm busy right now, and interupting my Mission isn't a clever idea..."

"Leader Nohman asked me to find you when you arrived here. He wished for me to give you this."

He held out his hand, in which he held a PokeNav.

"Where did you get this?"

"Sir, we recently pulled off a Mission, and swiped a few hundred PokeNavs. They're very useful, so Leader Nohman asked me to give one to you."

"Tell Nohman i said thanks"

I took the PokeNav, and put it into my Pocket.

"Uh... Leader."

"What?"

"Leader Nohman"

"You're questioning my Authority?"

"Uh, no sir!"

"Do you forget i am second in command of Nox? I can call Nohman whatever i wish... Is that clear?"

"Yes sir!"

"Good... Now i can continue to Mt. Silver"

I started to walk towards the gate of Mt. Silver, thinking i would not be held up again, before the Nox Member called me back.

*sigh* "What is it this time?!"

"Uh- Sir, they will not let you pass the gate without all 8 badges."

I just laughed at this comment. Since when did i ever obey the rules of the Pokemon League?

"I don't need any badges to get past them fools..."

"But sir, there are many guards. They would take down any Pokemon no matter how powerf-"

"What did i just say?"

"I know sir, but-"

"You- You don't need any badges to get past the guards, sir"

"Correct..."

"Sir, may i ask- Just how will you get past?"

"You underestimate the weakness of anyone who fights for Good... Fear..."

"But- But what if they are brave, sir?"

"Then you exploit the weakness of those that are brave..."

As i walked away, towards the gate, i kept laughing. I'm not really sure why, but something about killing an opponent triggered something inside of me. Maybe... It was the feeling... Of complete power...

a few weeks later, I felt a something, I couldn't tell what, but I knew I was needed at that mountain in the distance, I had to get there! The problem was, I didn't know how to get there, I haden't bothered collecting badges, just with training, and now I knew there wasn't enough time. Then, I heard in my thoughts "I take you there?" my kyogre (which was now about as large as a aggaron) could speak telepathically, thought it was still so young it couldn't talk perfectly yet.

"You can take me there? how?" I asked "Underwater, you breathe there with me, and we go there big fast." I heard.

"How long could it take?" I asked.

"On top of water... seven... or seven and four lights and darks." It said. It could take a week or more, but it was better than trying to break my way through the guards. "Well then, lets go." I said, and got in the water on kyogre's back, as we submerged.

[Zenaku]

"Sir wait!"

Again i got annoyed at the grunt. Why wouldn't he just let me do my mission, rather than keep me waiting with petty small talk?

As he ran up to me, he held out what seemed to be a Pokegear; an item that proved useful at times, but was outdated compared to the PokeNav.

"Why would i want this...?"

"Message, from Leader Nohman sir."

*sigh* I took the Pokegear off him, and asked Nohman what he wanted.

"Ah, Daz. I havent heard from you since the plan to eliminate Team Rocket."

"Yeah, its been a while... Been training mostly... So, whats up?"

"Nothing much, except..."

"Except what...?"

"Another Team seems to be getting in our way."

"Who?"

"They call themselves Team Dark. You heard of them?"

"Nope, not really."

"Well, they caused us trouble during a few important missions lately."

"Well, what do you expect me to do?"

"Thats the best part. We have reason to believe that Team Dark will be heading for the shrine atop Mt. Silver. Its our chance to take them down for good."

"Really..."

"Could you give an estimate of how long it will take you to get there?"

"I should arrive at the shrine by tomorrow morning, if i dont sleep. But then again, everyone knows i prefer the blackening darkness of the night skies."

"Yes. I'm sending forces to Viridian, and they will then make towards the shrine in a few hours. Once Team Dark show up tomorrow, it's your job to wipe them all out."

"Got it... Anything else?"

"Yes. There are thought to be rare and powerful Pokemon at the shrine, all trying to open the box. After the stones are replaced, some of them might be convinced to join Team Nox, making us even stronger."

"Good plan... Take out the opposition, and reap the spoils... Got'cha..."

"Oh, and a new device is being sent to you as we speak."

"What kinda' device?"

"Well, we've recently been researching data from Silph Co. in Saffron City, Kanto. One of our members works undercover there."

"And...?"

"We've also disassembled a few PokeNavs, and PokeDex's, to find out how their components work. Using this knowledge, we have constructed the PokeCom."

"PokeCom?"

"It stands for Pokemon Communicator. It has the functions of the PokeGear, PokeNav, and PokeDex combined. It contains much more detailed Data on every Pokemon, as well as all trainers you've faced, and your Win/Lose streak. It contains Data on specific Pokemon you've caught, such as their Level, Attack, Defence, Sp. Attack, Sp. Defence, and Speed. It shows a Trainer where their Pokemon is lagging, allowing them to train their Pokemon to be balanced fighters. And best of all, it allows you to catch Pokemon, instead of using Pokeballs. Through recent testing, it is believed that the catch rate is almost that of a Master Ball."

"Sounds cool..."

"Very. It should get to you during the night, or early morning. Use it well."

"Ok, i'll head for the shrine now... See ya later..."

A PokeCom? I'm not too sure i'd need it. Me and Deathscythe have never lost a battle, and whenever even a slight weakness started to show, we trained to get rid of it. As for Pokemon, Deathscythe is all i have or ever will need. We've stuck together our whole lives; catching another Pokemon would mean training Deathscythe less. Whether i used the PokeCom or not didn't matter to me anyways; getting to the shrine did.

I chased the Misdreavus with the girl. (OOC-How did you suddenly learn my name? :rolleyes:)

"I was going to Mt. Silver to protect the Sun Stone," I told her while we were running.

I sent Alakazam out. "Help me catch that Misdreavus!" I commanded.

Alakazam's spoons glowed purple, and gradually, Misdreavus slowed down. It stopped right at the girl.

"There you go, ma'am! By the way, what's your name? Mine's Calvin Hobbes. This Alakazam here's my best friend, next to my Typhlosion." I sent him out. "Typhlosion's name is Volcano. We're all happy to meet you!"

[Satou]

Missy made odd growling sounds, trying to get away from Calvin and his Pokemon. "Misss! Missssss!" She screamed, until Satou caught her in a redf and white pokeball.
"Gwaaa... Arigato! I am Satou and that pain in the neck was Missy."

[Blue]

"We're far enough from the town I think I can talk now before you hit me again," Crobat chimed.
"Yes, you can talk now," I assured him.
"Well, I want to get to Mt. Silver as soon as possible! I have enough strengh to carry you there on my own," Corbat said and then flew behind me getting ready to grip me with its claws.
"No," I said, "We're doing this my way, we're walking."
"What is with this arrogence, I didn't choose you for this."
"You choose me? Heh, I'm sorry crobat but I believe I'm your trainer and your not mine, don't make me throw you back into this pokeball."
Crobat made a sound of anger and spoke, "fine- we'll walk."
"Good choice Crobat..."

We surfaced in a river just past the guard post in viridian, and I could see mt. silver up close, it was huge. "Thanks kyogre, but before we go any further, I gotta find something to eat." I said.

OCC: where is everyone.. I mean map wise I suppose because the last I want to do is be at the box and have only me there. Cause I think I'm gonna put my self around the gate to Mt. Silver....

I walked for what seemed almost a day until I reached a gated area, I was stopped by a guard and was asked to see some badges.
"Badges? What are badges?" I asked, I really never heard of these badges before, I knew of pokemon dojos but they had nothing to do with badges.
"What do you mean 'what are badges'!" The guard asked confused.
"Can I pass if I defeat you in a pokemon match?" I asked.
"No, you may not, I'm not really a pokemon trainer only a guard for the area beyond."
I quickly drew my katana and placed the tip a hair away from touching the skin between his eyes. "Let me pass," I demanded. The man fell on the floor and I put my katana back where it was before. "By the way, if you see me again that means darkness has reigned supreme." I walked past the gate to the Mt. Silver trail while laughing maniacally.

OOC: I'm just about where you are now, I surfaced i a river (made by an underwater spring) next to the guard post.

As i walked through the trees towards the Mt. Silver Gate, i heard a few guards talking.

"What do you mean, you were attacked?!"

"Uh... Some guy appeared and said he didn't know what badges are. He asked for a battle, and if he won, i'd have to let him past."

"Don't tell me you fought him!"

"No. I refused."

"And...?"

"He pulled out a sword."

"A sword?!"

"Uh huh."

"We have to stop him!"

"Yes, he could get hurt."

"Forget him! He could hurt the Pokemon!"

I thought to myself about what the guards were saying... Someone had beaten me to the gate? Well, whoever they were, they'd better hope they weren't trying to prevent Darkness...

"C'mon Deathscythe... Let's take care of these guards..."

I started to run up to the Gate, and stopped outside. I ordered Deathscythe to smash down the steel door, which he did without hesitation. Once the door was down, the guards that had been speaking just looked at me.

When one of them tried to speak, they were knocked back by Deathscythe. The force of the Tackle had smashed him into the wall, so hard he fell unconcious. I think he was trying to say 'Who are you?!' or something like that... The other just stared blankly before running away, shouting.

I quickly ran out through the gate, as Deathscythe trashed the inside, by slashing the computer, the doors, walls floors, everything... Not even the guys who built it would be able to put it back together again now... When Deathscythe got outside, we both ran through the trees, and the grass, knowing that the other Trainer wasn't far in front of us; after all, the conversation between the guards started as we got there.

After a little running, we started to hear voices; someone talking. I thought that there was only one person, not two... We slowly walked around the trees, looking into a clearning not far from the gate. As we looked at who was talking, we saw that there was only one person. The other voice, was a Pokemon...

[Blue]

As I walked past the gate I soon heard another guard come by. He seemed to have not come after me.
"Huh? What was that?" Crobat said in a bit of panic.
"It was another guard don't worry yourself."
"No, there was another sound, you have to believe me Blue, these ears can hear almost anything," Crobat said. I suppose he had to be right, he did have a knack for hearing things that I didn't catch.
"What did you hear Crobat?"
"Another man... it sounds like he... just... crashed through the gate."
A smirk came across my face, "now really..."
"He probably knows your here," Crobat said almost worried.
"Thats becase you've been talking to me this whole time. That doesn't matter, if he is non compliant we will challenge him. And if he is here for the same reason I am... our common goal can be met ever sooner."
"Well he is behind us now, so I think you should speak first..." Crobat suggested.
"Heh, suppose," I then turned around in no certain direction, and spoke in a loud yet calm tone, "Who ever is there... reveal yourself."

Last time, I was leaving Hoenn to get to Johto, to stop evil to reign.
Well arrived at Slateport city at night, when I was preparing to embark, the Capt. Stern said that wasn't possible because someone stool the Ampharos from the Lighthouse, and without the ligths, it was to dangerous to get going.
I decided to go, to see what was happennig, when I arrived the lighthouse, i sense a shadow following me, I turn the around, and nothing.
:eh: This is very suspicious, I went up the stairs to the top, where the Ampharos should and been, in that moment, the shadow revealed himself.
