It is a virus, sorta. by virus I mean like disease, it is actualy good. Place that Pokemon near others! Quick! It boosts all your EVs and stats in general. Your Pokemon will be much stronger this way, be glad you had the luck. It wears off over time, but you can spread it to other Pokemon, like a disease.

PokeRUS, a completely random event, is a virus that your Pokemon can catch from a wild Pokemon, completely at random. Once infected, your Pokemon will spread it to other Pokemon you put it in contact with in your team, and it can be saved by storing a PokeRUS infected Pokemon in your PC. PokeRUS doubles EV gains. When used with the Macho Brace, EV gains are quadrupled. PokeRUS will wear off in 2 to 3 days.

Yeah, and if you want to keep it, place a Pokemon with it in your PC and the PokeRus will never go away from it, so you can continue spreading it to your Pokemon.

i had it on my pokemon and mine dosent spread in the pc and if you trade it to fire red or leaf green it will have it 10 times longer since time is not measured in those games

Poke RUS is just a virus that will train your pokemon more, after you get a dot next to your custom pokeball, the Poke RUS is faded. This virus is'nt always have to be about, shiny pokemon.

Yes, it doubles your EV gains, making it grow faster. And, after it got over the virus, it will be immune, and never be able to get it again :sad:.
