Pre Gym Fight knockout

I am on the 5th badge and was going througth the rooms to find a 'knockout room'. I battled the trainer and found out that he uses slash on you with his vigoroth and nearly everytime it hits you it gives you a critical hit. I had 5 pokemon on me they were all killed by this move! Even my lvl 30 marshtomp! I was wondering is it possible to get so many critical hits in a row, as I thought they only occured every once in a while.

You entered the room with a trainer that uses dire hit. Dire hit increases the chances of having a critical hit.

Possible, but improbable. Roll the number on percentile dice first, and see how many times you can land a critical hit. You can't? It's possible, but the odds are highly against it.

vigoroth=normal type

so slash STAB is 105, then there is the dire hit,.... lol no wonder

you people gave into your own shortcut with this 06/06/06 thing. I could under stand if it was the year 6. Then the 1900's were BC then, it became year 1,2,3,4,5,6....But naw it didnt work like that.

I'm not superstitious(sp?). I just like to make fun of superstitions, because it's fun. :D

Perhaps, the vigoroth was holding a scope lens. So, combined with Dire hit, and Slash's high CH rate, it's a very good chance.

Also, sometimes your game just keeps giving you bad luck. I swear, every time someone uses Attract on me, it kicks in about 80% of the time. GAAH!! I lsot my winning streak in the Battle Factory like that... AIIEEH!!!

I would evolve my marshtomp but all my other pokemon are in their lvl 25's and lik a balanced team
