Professors In a Fix

The famous pokemon researchers, Professors Oak, Elm, and Birch, have come together to do some significant research on the legendary Kyrogue. After many weeks of fieldwork, experiments, and research, they have concluded their study. However, the results are so profound that the professors have decided not to release the information, lest it fall into the wrong hands. When used for evil, the entire world could be in jeopardy.

Oak and Elm were very careful and discreet when asked any questions. On the other hand Professor Birch was not so wary. When caught off-guard by a persistent reporter, the reporter learned the subject of their study and that a new method of controlling the legendary Kyrogue has been discovered. Team Aqua caught word of it and now is in hot pursuit of the information. They have kidnapped the three professors and are currently trying to extract the secret, or location of any of the Professors’ reports, through any means possible.

After tracking down the location of Aqua’s confinement chambers, a rescue attempt has been organized by the International Island Security Bureau, in charge of preventing and defeating crime enterprises in Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. The entire Aqua facilities have been surrounded by armed forces who are standing by ready to infiltrate the place on a whim. Team Aqua, knowing that it is their last hope, has issued a warning. As soon as the Bureau attempts to invade the facilities, the hostages will be killed.

Now the Bureau has called upon nine expert trainers to go undercover, disguised as Aqua lowlifes and rescue the professors so that the Bureau can proceed. It is up to you, the previously stated nine, to save the professors and keep the secret to controlling this powerful water pokemon out of Team Aqua’s hands forever. You will be provided with one water pokemon to help you blend in and will only be allowed to carry two pokemon of your own, at the most. You will also be given a uniform and an earpiece that will allow you to communicate with (and receive instructions from) the Bureau. Good Luck.

-As you should already know, you are here because you are advanced roleplayers. I doubt this will happen, but do not post one-liners. Make each post at least three sentences.

-No Godmodding. This includes suddenly being healed after an injury for no apparent reason; special powers; and random teleportation (like, appearing in a place without describing how you got there).

-Please do not bunny anyone else’s character. This means controlling what they or their pokemon do or say.

-Make everything realistic. Describe scenes fully, and don’t make your character “the hero who saves everyone!”. You should know what I mean. If you have an idea to offer, have your character state it first.

-Please do not rat everyone out to the bad guy. It kind of defeats the purpose of this RP. -_-

-There will be one plot twist thrown in by yours truly. I’ll warn you beforehand though. :wink:

Description: Jade received Gloom as an Oddish at the age of 11. Her parents had given it to her as a birthday present, not realizing that Jade inwardly despised pokemon. At first Jade shunned the pokemon, refusing to have anything to do with it. But soon, Oddish’s carefree and innocent nature softened Jade and she began to interact with her new pokemon. Since then Jade and Oddish (who later evolved into a Gloom) have become great friends, and Gloom has opened Jade’s eyes to the world of pokemon.

Affiliation: International Island Security Bureau

Personality: Jade has a no-nonsense attitude. She is quick to point out what others do wrong, but knows when she makes a mistake. She cannot stand anything below par in herself or in the work of others. If she messes up, she does everything in her power to fix it immediately and is extremely apologetic. However, she seems to have no concern for the feelings of others. Her career is the number one priority in her life. She puts it first always and works very hard. A fast talker, Jade has always had a sharp tongue that one day may get her in trouble. She has always wanted to be in charge, but never truly gotten the chance.

Description: Jade has long brown hair that reaches to her waist, which she always keeps pulled up in a bun. A long, straight nose and sharp cheek bones define her face. She has thin, red lips and stern, green eyes that are accentuated by her wire-framed spectacles. Standing at 5’ 10” Jade is fairly tall. She has a plain body that lacks many curves. She generally wears gray pin-striped pants and black sandals with low heals. Her shirt is a button-up, baby-blue blouse that seems to contrast her fierce nature.

History: Jade grew up in the small town of Oldale. Her middle class family never had much, though they weren’t poor. She disliked pokemon during her childhood, but grew to like them after receiving an Oddish for her eleventh birthday. She dreamed of becoming a lawyer and leaving for the big city, where she could become rich. Jade worked hard in school and was quite smart. She was offered several scholarships but finally accepted one to a law university in Rustboro City. After obtaining her license to practice law, Jade worked at a law firm until it went bankrupt about a year after she became an employee. Out of a job, Jade struggled to find work. Until one night at a restaurant she met a man called Mr. Ken Yohara. He was (and is) the head of the International Island Security Bureau. Feeling sorry for Jade, and recognizing her skill, he offered her a job as the Bureau’s Communications Officer and Secretary, which she readily accepted. Jade has now been working for the Bureau for two years and thoroughly enjoys her job.

Description: Pichu was given to Pearl by a Prof when she wanted her starter . Since then , she had became Pichu's guardian and partner . They love each other very much , and Pichu is most dedicated to Pearl . Chuchu has a good sense of direction and can easily guide the team out of a forest . Her favourite food is the apples that grows on a very special tree in Viridian . Her personality is optimistic and laid-back like Pearl , but she too can be quite oblivious to what is happening . Chuchu [ who evolved to a Pikachu now ] is still one of Pearl's much treasured Pokemon , and will always be .

Chuchu also has a bell pendant like Coco . Her moves are as follow :

Coco is very shy and sweet , but that's besides when Natee is attempted to anger her . Natee is very competitive with Coco . Although Coco's best friend in the team is Chuchu , she seems to interact greatly with Pearl's Mission Pokemon , Poochyena . Coco loves to eat the seaweeds and Miru's Milk Drink . Pearl sees her as the most beautiful Pokemon in her team . At first , Coco was not too 'open' . She simply refuses to speak or battle ! But that was history . After Chuchu grew in her , her " true form " as a sweet little darling was revealed .

Description : Poochyena is the only Pokemon not given a name . He seems to connect deeply with Coco , but he's actually very fierce and headstrong , somewhat like Gigi . Poochyena has a scar on her right paw , so pearl will always be able to recognise him . He hates Natee , though , maybe because Natee was used to control him when he almost attacked Pearl out of misunderstanding .

Poochyena 's personality is lonesome and headstrong . He will attack Pearl whenever she attempts to battle with him instead . However , now that he's also cooled down , he fights with Natee for Pearl's affection . His favourite food is not revealed yet .His moevs are as follow :

Nickname : Gigi

Gender: Female

Description : Gigi was Pearl's first captured Pokemon . Albeit if she's headstrong and tomboyish , Gigi has the softest heart . Gigi has a ribbon at her tail so that Pearl can recognise her if there will be another case like Miru's . At first , Gigi strongly refuse to interact with Pearl , and her other Pokemon . She felt that she was indifferent , but when she witnessed a battle without her between Pearl and a random trainer , Gigi realised that she shouldn't feel so superior . Her best friend in the team is Natee , Pearl's Natu . Gigi thinks that the strongest Pokemon is Pearl's team is Chuchu , so she's always very cpmpetetive with her .

Gigi enjoys Miru's Milk and wild Berries that grows from tall trees . Once , Gigi even devoured a whole shrub !


Milktank

Nickname: Miru

Gender : Female

Description: Milktank was the first Pokemon caught , and is most willing to join Pearl . She saved this Milktank from being poached for its Milk . Milktank is the 'Healer' of the team , with the moves " Milk Drink " and " Recover " . Miru is also able to surf from a HM given by Pearl's mother . There was once where a case of Milktanks were pokenapped to be sold for their milk , but Pearl rescued them with the help of her other Pokemon . Miru differs from the other Milktanks as she hangs a bell around her neck and her eyes are pale pink . She is also one of Pearl's beloved Pokemon .

Miru is the kindest in Pearl's team , always willing to help [ although sometimes , her help turns into a disaster ] . Strangely , Miru seems to dislike drinking her own Milk [ unless she's forced to in a disaster where there is a drought ] , she prefers pure water . Her favourite food is the tall , fresh grass near Olivine City in Johto .

Natu

Nickname: Natee

Gender: Male

Description : Natee is quite competetive with Poochyena , especially when it comes to protecting Pearl , or fighting for ehr affection . Natee is never used for Contests unless it;s an urgent matter . Other than Poochyena , Natee's attitude towards the rest of the team is somewhat like Miru . Kind and selfless . He prefers to be in the background most of the time before Pearl captured him , but now Natee is always the first to detact enemies and stuff like that .

Natee is very protective of Gigi and Pearl , and he oftens break up a one-sided fight [ Gigi ] between Gigi and Chuchu . He plays peacemaker when Miru and Coco isn't around , and is considered the Tank of the team , having high defense stats . He enjoys eating little things like chocolate balls . He despises worms and thought of them to be yucky .

Acarnine

Nickname: Arckee

Gender: Male

Description : Arckee was the rebel at first .

Personality: An optimist and cheerful girl, Pearl has a problem with Deja Vu-->They come true after her predictions in dreams. If you rather due to her, a sharptongued response will be the result that left people with no more defense dumb -founded. Her cute outlook is not the case for her angry side. Her beautiful expression will turn to a cold glare when you anger her. For those smaller than her, she tends to take care and help them like their big sister. Loyal to those whom trust her, Pearl is carefree and if you tell her the world is falling down, she's like-huh-you-mean-i-would-care? In a jokingly manner,but after that she'll be most willing to stop it. Friendly and open to anybody she meets, loud to her friends whom she know but shy to those whom she has no impression of, Pearl is deifintely your carefree optimist .

However , when Pearl is annoyed she can't stand nonsense and she can really S H O U T to stop whatever she hates .

Description: Whenever Pearl doesn't wears her uniform ... Pearl wears a typical minidress. It is divided into 2 parts , the top a shirt and the bottom a miniskirt . The top is pale blue while the skirt is white , causing people to think she wears a shirt and skirt seperately. The top is an impression of an off-the-shoulder shirt with a cut nearing the elbow with its transparent sleeves . She wears a black handpatch. On her back is a big straw hat that hangs from her neck[ it has a garland of different kind of flowers like roses , carnations , chrysanthemums , etc weaved onto it by Pearl ]

The skirt is slightly more complicated . It has a deep cute from its waist on the right all the way to the end of the dress . The bottom is actually a skirt short but the shorts are never seen in any kind of position. Pearl wears a pair of transparent stockings to show off her tanned legs . After that , a pair of green leg warmers and white boots end the whole outfit.

Her hair is long and always changing when she applies different dyes. Her hair is dyed pink after she had her ninth birthday[it was originally black]and always decorated with small little shining star hair ornaments, but lately she got into dying her hair yellow with blonde highlights and decorate her long fringe with ribbon bells. She ties it up with a ninja band . On the right side of her head lies a small flower [ the peony ] .

Her eyes are black-brown but now she wears green contacts. Has dangling,shining earrings in her double-pierced ears. On her left ear is a feather earring given by Falkner as a soveniour and one dangling grape earring with blue leaves and white fruits. Her left is the same. Has a crystal clear locket with five different bells on it.

In conclusion , Pearl is cute on the outside , but very complicated deep in her heart.


History: Pearl was born on the 2nd of December on a field dominated by blooming flowers . She was then introduced to her 3-levelled home near a lake in Viridian . Since then she knew it as her house . Her parents were quite famous as Coordinator and PokeTrainers . Taking flowers as her symbol , she kind of ran away from her home when she was still 9 and travelled all the way to Johto to be mistaken for an orphan . Ever since then she was trapped in her adoptive family . Pearl dearly misses Viridian , the lake and the tall patch of weeds . She attempted to escape from Violet City and ran all the way to Ecruteak .

Pearl than help a girl capture a Gastly . The girl , grateful for her help , brought Pearl to her brother, Morty ,'s Gym . Morty helped her to get back to Kanto after she earned all her badges there with some Pokemon she caught in Johto .

After she returned , her family moved to Hoenn to investigate the disappearance of her Aunt Amethyst . After they returned to their vacant house in Viridian , Pearl was a Gym Challenger and Coordiantor on the outside , but she went to the Island to save the two Professors .

Other: Pearl is rather messy but she cannot find things if they are too neat and tidy .

This applies only to Facility Teachers and any Senior RolePlayers that I might recruit to help with the RP. You are a student in the Advanced RP, so you should ignore this. The second thing is just something minor. Some of your spelling and grammar is off. It's not a big deal, but it would help if you could go through and double check it. I know that when you type a post that big it's easy to make mistakes and then hard to catch them later.

Pokémon Species: Mightyena
Nickname: Kraintyr
Description: A long time ago, when Razaan was barely eight, and had been forced to join Team Aqua, he was presented with Kraintyr as a Pokémon that he is entitled to use in battles. However, as the battles wore on, Poocheyena became more than just a Pokémon to be used. He became Razaan's friend. Kraintyr soon became an extremely tough Poocheyena, but upon evolving into Mighteyena, it had trouble gtting used to its new body, and sometimes does thing without meaning to. Kraintyr is slowly getting better at controling his power, but is not perfect, yet.

Personality: Despite his Affilliation with team Aqua, Razaan feels for other people, and tries his best not to hurt anyone when he carried out Aqua's orders. If it requres harming people, he will somehow manage to let the people get away and make it look like an accident. He is a caring person, and cannot bear to see someone in pain. Even if his mortal enemy is standing in front of him, bleeding from a wound, and weak, he will help his enemy get better, and then shout and swear, and whatnot. However, he is not social, and does not mingle with the crowds unnessisarily.

Description: Razaan is a dark-skinned, dark-haired, dark-eyed kind of boy. His skin is extremely dark, and when he smiled, it is like a row of white in the middle of the night. His body is well built, seeing as he has reasonable muscular arms, and legs. His back is as straight as a stick, because in Aqua, training spefifies that slouching and lunging is against rules of the organization. His hair is braided, and tiped with beads. His locks are actually quite long, and he is very proud of the way he keeps them.

History: Razaan was forced, at the tender age of eight, to join Team Aqua, as his mother had mysteriously passed away, leaving his father an almost limitless account of money to sqander. His father was an Admin of Team Aqua, and made his son join. Soon, however, Razzan became a prominent member of Team Aqua. He was forced to do things that he resented, and has tried plottingan escape from Team Aqua, but has been unsuccessful so far.

Pokemon Team:
Breloom (Male)- A serious and on-guard Pokemon, Breloom often becomes over-protective and sometimes acts paranoid.

Torkoal- (Male)- As opposed to Breloom, Torkoal is a very relaxed "chill" Pokemon. He is laid back and always thinks very lightly of danger, causing some of his decisions to create tension or distress between the group.

Mission Pokemon: Corphish

Personality: Sonic is bouncy and cheerful, but can be stubborn and pessimistic when faced with an overwhelming challenge. At times he's just like any other kid, but is stubborn or persistent, depending on situations. He is very quiet and shy, except to his friends, where he is just bursting with stuff to say. But all they usually say is "SHUT UP!" However, when faced with an opponent who could physically harm him, Sonic backs down and hides, not literally. He cares for his friends more than himself, but can be a bit selfish sometimes when faced with a bully. "EVERY MAN FOR THEMSELVES!"

Appearance: A blue hat conceals his tussled black hair. He has a round, not chubby, but round face with huge, curious eyes and brown irises that are like hot cocoa. He is thin with a green t-shirt and blue jeans, followed by scrawny legs and bright red shoes. He sports a blue glove and is not very "powerful." Instead, he is thin and unmuscular, rather than tough.

History: "Shut up." Sonic doesn't even hear that word anymore. It's so common it doesn't even hit his brain. He just knows someone is saying it when they mouth it. Sonickid is always picked on for his knowledge, and whenever he tries to help someone with his smarts, "Shut up." All he wanted was some appreciation, by "shut up." Sonickid couldn't take it and ran away from home one day to show them not to mess with him and "beat them up" one day. He ran away and didn't come back, gathering a few Pokemon along the way. He has won several awards in brainy contests in the cities he's gone through. He even constructed a walking cane for an old man in a town.
When he found out about the strange happenings between the government and Pokemon, he immediately began to search for Pokemon to protect. He never could do anything great, and craved for the opportunity to be a hero to someone. When he found out about what was happening with Kyogre, his immediate reaction was to recoil and let other people take care of it. But the glory... "Shut up, you coward, he told himself, you want to do something good, right..? So, let's save the world!

Other: Carries a Datalyzer he constructed over the years.- a sort of PalmPilot/PDA thing that can surf the Internet, store info, etc.

It seems to focus too much on one aspect of your character's rather than provide background information. Though it is good to include Sonic's attitude toward the word "Shut-up", try presenting it as a minor detail. Provide some of his past accomplishments, instead of leaving it at the fact that he ran away and gathered a few pokemon. Name: Akina Ran

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Pokemon Team: A female Nidorina named Rina. Rina has a very laid back personality and prefers lounging in the sun to training. This behavior has earned her a reputation of being called lazy but she's still a loyal Pokemon and a good battler.

A male Fearow named Zephyr. Zephyr is the very opposite of Rina. He's hyper and energetic and can't stay still for more than thirty seconds at a time. He loves to play and can sometimes be hard to control.

Mission Pokemon: Poochyena

Personality: She's a very cheerful girl with an optimistic outlook on life. Though serious when she has to be she prefers to joke around and have fun. The only thing that really bugs her are people who think they have the right to control others. It's one reason she agreed to go under cover in Team Aqua. She's a quick thinker and a good problem solver which is useful when she's caught in a sticky situation. She's stubborn and sometimes hard headed to the point of recklessness but she usually knows when enoughs enough.

Description: Akina has short dirty-blonde hair that she usually keeps pulled back. Her eyes are bright blue with specks of darker blue here and there. She has fair skin with a little bit of a tan from working outside a lot. Her casual outfit is a dark blue tank-top with a light blue wave on the back, faded jeans, a simple belt with six Pokeballs on it, multi-blue shoes, a dark blue wrist band on her right wrist, and a medium blue headband. At other times she wears the usual Team Aqua uniform and you can see a tattoo on her lower back.

History: Akina was born and raised in NewBark, Johto. Her father was a good friend of Professor Elm and, in turn, that made Akina like him too. She loved to hang out at Professor Elm's lab and play with the Pokemon he was keeping. Elm was often busy or distracted by something but he usually had enough time to give her some advice or tell her a bit about the Pokemon she was interested in. Akina was sad to say goodbye to him when it was finally time for her to start her Pokemon journey. She chose a Cyndaquil she named Ray and waved goodbye.

She heard from Elm quite often on her travels and welcomed the break from training just to talk. The only thing that ever bothered her about him was his knack for talking too much. Still, she decided being cooped up in a lab all day gave a person the right to talk a lot. Eventually she left Johto for other regions in search of new challenges. She heard from Elm less but still frequent enough to know how he and her Pokemon were doing. When she was 17 having some time off enjoying the Orange Islands, she was contacted by the International Island Security Bureau. They were requesting her help on a kidnapping by Team Aqua. She was flattered they had requested her and had had some run ins with Team Aqua herself. She agreed to help before evening finding out who had been kidnapped. She was shocked when she found out and it helped to fuel her determination on the mission.

Vancouver received an Elekid when he first set off on his Pokemon adventure. He has always been Vancouver's favorite and is very smart. Electabuzz has always been somewhat cautious and always listens to what Vancouver says. He is the most well-behaved of Vancouver's Pokemon, making him a natural choice to take.

Vancouver's Hitmonchan is a different type. He is Vancouver's strongest Pokemon, but he is also the most restless and hotheaded of the team. Vancouver decided to take him after much debate since he is, after all, his strongest team member and he would never let his temper distract him from helping out his master.

Personality:
Vancouver was once a very cheerful child, but considering the circumstances that set him off on his Pokemon quest (read below), his outlook on life has become drastically different. He is more quiet now and does not normally contribute much to conversations unless it is proving someone wrong. He is very intelligent, yet he sometimes does not use it to his full potential. Through all this though, he would never turn to evil, and will always continue to do the right thing, no matter what that means. He is a very loving trainer and treats his Pokemon as equals rather than servants, which sometimes means he can get frustrated with his Pokemon.

Description:
Vancouver has shoulder-length, dark, wavy brown hair. He usually wears green-tinted thick-framed glasses and a black beanie with a Master Ball printed on it. He wears a red-and-black long sleeved t-shirt and faded straight-legged jeans. He has a short goatee and can usually be found smoking a cigarette. His black converse shoes are very worn out, as he has had them since he was 15. He is very tall, about 6'3", and skinny, weighing about 150 lbs.

History:
Vancouver would have become a Pokemon trainer at 13 years old, but before he set out from his home in Azalea, his mother told him that she had developed Cancer. Vancouver knew that he would have to stay home and take care of her, as his father left when he was just a baby. His mother died when he was 16, shattering Vancouver's positive outlook on life. It was at that time when he became the trainer he is today. His quest ended when he lost to the Elite Four and decided that he didn't need to become a champion. Today, he wanders around the world, battling and doing whatever he can to help out against organizations like Team Aqua.

Other: Vancouver knows a lot about how the criminal mind works, as he was held prisoner by Team Rocket for a month before being rescued by his friends.

Magneton (Genderless): Magneton was Brian's first Pokemon, though he only acquired it three years ago, as a Magnemite. His parents initially forbade him from going on a journey, as they wanted him to keep up with his schoolwork and graduate college, so he could live the successful lives that they hadn't.

Brian received this Pokemon by accident: while shuffling through an abandoned city that his class had ventured to for a school trip. As they were studying the means of life, and the reasons for departure, Brian stumbled on a lone building of steel, where inside he noticed ruined furniture and bullet holes. As he left, in fear that the area may be dangerous, he found this small magnetic Pokemon surprisingly attracted to himself, making a comfortable resting place out of his left arm.

He initially kept Magnemite secret, and it was only recently that his parents found out about the Pokemon. They were (surprisingly) willing to compensate and let Brian train Pokemon, since he had done a great job of caring for it. The Pokemon evolved after Brian used it in a training battle for one of his friends, who was entering a tournament.

Slowbro (Male): Slowbro was found by Brian at a "yard sale," where an aged trainer, unable to continue training his Pokemon due to his senility, was selling his prized possessions for mere pennies, as he wanted their legacy to continue. Brian was unable to purchase the Zubat he desired, since somebody else had closed a better deal. He did notice, sleeping on a tethered corner of a carpet in the yard was a large, glaring shell, attached to a fat, purple Pokemon that lay behind a table.

Brian purchased the Slowbro, unaware at first of its true potential. He learned in time, after battling with it beside Magneton, that it knew moves that could only come from years of training and commitment, and that it was a Pokemon that he should always thank the old man for the chance to befriend.

Mission Pokemon:

Zubat (Female): Brian hopes that by choosing this Pokemon to journey with, he can really know if he made the right decision two years previous.

Personality: Despite his resilience to his parents' offers, Brian is a very scholarly young man. He has just completed his first year at the University in Goldenrod, and has traveled to Hoenn to spend time studying anthropology. He is often polite to strangers, as taught by his mother, but when among friends or close relatives, can get, to a degree, pushy and obnoxious. As a child, Brian was caught up in the work that his parents provided him, and he was initially treated for his overbearing stress and depression. Through the years, however, as he consistently grew independent, he learned to manage himself and his feelings.

Brian is also known for his attention to commitment. When he is given a task, he is not one to let it slip. One reason he chose to take on Team Aqua was to build his knowledge on their nature, and he will not even consider the risk involved, for the outcome is too great (his other reason is to train his Pokemon to tournament standards).

Description: Brian is only five feet and ten inches tall, and is short among most of his friends. He has taken time, however, to match up to them by weight training and building his muscular strength (one could say he has half-succeeded in this). His body composition is fair overall, and topped with a slightly dark skin tone.

His eyes and hair are a matching shade of light brown. His eyes droop off on the outside, giving him the look of a puppy, which matches his hairstyle: shaggy and long, halfway down his neck, and wavy. He has recently highlighted his hair, to give glowing streaks of yellow to the thoroughly head-entrenching mop.

Brain's usual attire consists of athletic shorts and a long-sleeved shirt, topped by a tee shirt that often displays an expensive brand name in a fanciful way. He insists on wearing shorts year-round, because winter doesn't fall to heavily where he lives. He always wears running shoes without socks, because they "make him hot." On occasion, he will also wear a beanie hat to keep the wind out of his hair and ears.

History: Brian grew up in Kanto's Veridian City. He lived in the Northeast, where the houses were affordable but the neighbors were not quite bearable. This area was the only place that his parents could afford, as they both made a minimal amount of cash; they worked where they could, since neither of them completed college to earn a degree.

After receiving his two Pokemon, as mentioned, Brian left home to fulfill his dreams, one was completing college as an anthropologist, and one was training his Pokemon well enough to enter, and eventually win the Johto Tournament of Pokemon Champions. He accidentally stumbled upon the opportunity to rescue the professors and defeat Team Aqua, for he had overheard one of his own professors discussing the matter:

"Yes, Elm and all. Apparently, their research was so great, that evil band of hooligans kidnapped them! I was asked to aid in the safe rescue of them, but I'm well too old to battle. Perhaps there is something else I could accomplish that will be of some use to the Bureau."

After hearing the speech to a fellow professor, Brian had no choice but to ask the professor if he could assist, and got a response that was more than delightful, to his surprise.

Other: One fact known by few about Brian is the misspelling of his name on his birth certificate. His parents intended on naming him Brain, for they expected it would give him the mindset to succeed in school when he grew older. The doctors made an obvious mistake when spelling, as Brian was a much more common name, and his parents concluded that it should be left like that, for they liked the name just as much.

Name: Karin Gran

Age: 18

Affliliation: Team Aqua (OMG I'm bad for once XD)

Pokemon Team: Ripper- Male Tyranitar: Ripper is Karin's first and only Pokemon. Because of this, the two of them have a very deep bond, and can almost read each other's minds.

Ripper is a very loyal Pokemon who loves Karin like a sister. He sees her not as a Trainer, but as a dear friend with sound advice who helps him get stronger. Because of this, he never spends time in his PokeBall unless it's necessary. Instead he walks around with Karin, and oftentime they don't bother sleeping in a Pokemon Center, choosing instead to sleep outdoors.

Also, Ripper is very calm and collected, at least for a Tyranitar. He hardly ever gets riled or upset, unless Karin is hurt or upset. He can be a little stubborn at times, and has taken it as a personal challenge to keep Karin out of any trouble.

Personality: Karin isn't really an evil person. She has mixed reasons for joining Team Aqua, none of them really being for her own personal gain. She's loud and outspoken and can seem awfully blunt at times, since she always speaks her mind. Seeing as she'd rather not hurt people, she often goes for the jobs that rarely require her to work around others. However, she'll do what she has to in order to do her job, and if that means hurting people, then so be it.

She can be oddly compassionate at times though, and is loyal only to those who have earned her repsect. So far, the only one to have done that is her Pokemon.

Description: Karin is about 5'7" tall, and weighs about 125 lbs. She has cropped white hair (thanks to special bleaching) and her eyes are a pale jade color. She doesn't wear any kind of uniform, but prefers light colored clothes and usually wears a black jacket with red trim around the pockets. She has a small pack in which she keeps various things, such as her money and all. She wears white tennis shoes and a one Rayquaza earring in her left ear.

History: Karin's past isn't very interesting. Her parents died when she was barely a year old when a vicious Aggron attacked them when they were hiking on its mountain territory. She had been with a babysitter, and that's why she didn't die as well. She was raised by her aunt, who wasn't the nicest or meanest of people.

When she was sixteen, she wished for other things, and so she left her aunt's care and went out into the world with her Pokemon, who she'd found some years ago as a Larvitar and decided to keep. Within a few weeks of striking out on her own, she ran across Team Aqua grunts. After challenging them to a battle to test her skills, she easily won and managed to impress them enough that she could go with them back to their HQ.

There was no turning back from that point, and ever since she had been a valuable and powerful asset to Team Aqua.

Other: Karin is skilled at coming up with complicated battle plans, seeing as she ever only has one Pokemon to use. Because of this, she is a very specialized battler, and coupled with Ripper's deep sense of determination, hardly ever losses a fight. While she is on Team Aqua's side, she tries her best to not hurt others.

Personality: Jeannie has a special thing about her that makes the others just want to smile along with her. She may have experience plenty of situations where she stood aside, being dull witted and clueless within the moments and being no help to anyone, but she is indeed fun to be around with, and one that has jokes up her sleeves. Though most of the times, her jokes may concern about a person’s background and past, which often makes the listener clench his fist, and choking up fake laughters. Jeannie, being a stuck-up and rude lass, has never cared for a person’s feelings and therefore, blurt thing out without thinking twice.

Jeannie has general knowledge about pokemon types, but has trouble understanding combos unless someone is willing to take an hour showing it to her and explaining it with patience. She is what you can call a visual or kinesthetic learner, preferring to see and do things on her own. She can get very angry if you blurt out the wrong things to her, and thus, sarcasm usually flies right by her.

Description: Jeannie wears lose her chestnut brown hair, which cascades down onto her waist. Her skin tone is of a slight tan, together with her slim figure. Her head is the shape of a perfect circle, though her chin is slightly pointy. She stands around five feet and seven inches tall, towering most of the average basic pokemon. While Jeannie’s eyes are of a deep ocean blue color, which many people claimed to be lost in, her eyebrows are thin, that it is hardly noticeable.

She normally wears a tight and sleeveless shirt that reaches down to her waist line, the shade and color of her grandmother’s lawn during springtime. Dotted with tiny symmetrical pink flower patterns, they match the bulgy beret that covers her head, also in the same tone of pink as the patterns. Her bottom consists of long blue jeans, which were easy to move in, and keeping the bugs from biting her slender legs. A white jacket is draped around her waist, and a book-sized backpack slung over her left arm.

To complete her image, Jeannie travels around with a pair of pretty worn out purple sneakers, with mud and dirt clinging to it when she runs over the fields. The white ankle socks that were never separated from the sneakers are also now beginning to tear, showing holes here and there.

History: Umbreon was Mat's first Pokemon. He received Umbreon as an Eevee from his father before leaving to battle the Hoenn Gym Leaders. Eevee was always an underdog in a fight, because of its weak physical attack and defense. It made up by using its speed to confuse the opponent before trying to slam into it with a Tackle. Slowly, with the care and support of Mat, Eevee evolved into the strong and physically damaging Umbreon, still retaining its strength in speed it earned as an Eevee, making it twice as deadly in battle. Umbreon was used in every battle during the Hoenn League, ensuring Mat's place at the top of the Hoenn League.

Once, during the night, Umbreon woke up and went for a walk deeper into the forest they had stopped in, while Mat slept. He saw a blond colored tail flit outside of a bush before disappearing. Umbreon's curiosity jumped and he ran into the bush, meeting a female Flareon. Though startled by the barging of the Umbreon, the Flareon took a liking in the Umbreon, and started a game of tag. Umbreon raced around the forest trying to catch up with the Flareon, not realizing his feelings for the Flareon. Soon, after thirty minutes of continuous running, Umbreon finally caught up to the Flareon, and finished their “game”. Returning with the Flareon, Mat was interested in how Umbreon met Flareon. With in a few weeks, Mat realized that Flareon was pregnant because of Umbreon.

History: After about three to six months of developing in Flareon, she was born. Extremely weak physically, like her father, Espeon (Eevee) was closer to her father than she was to her mother. Eevee gave her all in every match and became a great helper in Mat’s match versing Whitney, and again, as an newly evolved Espeon, versing Chuck. Espeon’s mental strength and defense, makes it as strong as Umbreon.

Before Mat turned fifteen, he tried a practice match versing Umbreon and Espeon. Umbreon had his age behind him, while Espeon used her psychic abilities to back herself up. The victory of the battle was inconclusive, because both had worn each other down to near death. Finally, thanks to both Espeon’s and Umbreon’s help, Mat made it through the Silver Conference.

Mission Pokemon: Zubat

Personality: Mat is extremely introverted. He shies away from most contact with humans, unless he knows it’s someone he can trust. Even then, he is still withheld. His older brothers often call his feelings glass, because they can be easily broken. People often refer to him as what his brothers do, a frail person with a heart made of glass. Mat feels that other people shouldn't be trusted, and he often uses this idea to keep away from contacting with other people who say they are his friend. Somtimes, people see past his walls and wards and can make friends with him. Mat also has a very hard time trying to stand up against others with his fragile feelings. Mat does get angry, but he can't hold that anger for a long period of time.

Description: Mat is lanky. His arms and legs are still tube-like, and some of his bones do show through his skin. His complexion is sullen, even though he is outside for a long time. His hair color is a light brown, and his eyes are a frosted light blue.

His clothes hang loose on him. He wears a white collared t-shirt, with a red line that follows the edge of the collar. Over that he wears a secondhand red vest. His pants are black, and are held to his waist by a simple black belt. He wears a pair of dark blue swim trunks under his pants in case he is needed to go into the water. His shoes are white and are slightly large for his feet. He wears a small pendent, that he found hanging in a tall elm tree, in the shape of a tear drop.

History: Mat was born into a family with twin older brothers, Jack and Neil, a mother, and a father. He never saw his father since he worked in the Kanto Region, away from his family. After Mat turned five, his older brothers took off onto their Pokemon journey together. Within a half-a-year, both Jack and Neil make it to the Hoenn League and Jack beat Neil in the end. Mat was enrolled in to a Pokemon School once he turned 9. After about a half-a-year, he had completed all what was supposed to be done in a year-and-a-half. Mat was then given his trainer license and started his training, looking for two things: Better friends and a way to stop being introverted.

Daggerback is the only pokemon Jude kept, she caught him as a baby dratini and he evolved under her care. He's usually against Jude's hairbrained schemes, but he doesn't speak human. He's hyper like her and likes to dance, but he draws a fine line when it comes to doing stupid things.

Mission Pokemon: Sealo

Personality: Jude unusually happy and hyper, although it's part of a mental illness that blocks part of her memory. She's happy-go-lucky but tends to break down and cry when she's traumatised.

Most people see her as a weirdo with a three second memory, while she doesn't mind anything. She takes anything thrown at her in her stride and usuallly forgets about it a while later.

Jude's a student in Jhoto who knows Elm personally, when she finds out about Professor Elm's kidnap, she runs away from home with Daggie to avenge her teacher.

Jude's a pokedex holder -- she captures pokemon to fill up the pokedex Professor Elm gave her, she has no interest in gyms and doesn't keep the pokemon she catches.

Jude has bluish-black hair and a love for beautiful things, she has a rather low IQ but knows very well how to capture each and every kind of pokemon she comes across.

Other: She's too young to be on the squad, but she uses Daggie's 'physic' attack to fool people to think that she's older than usual.

Essentially a stray, Zethe first met his Persian wandering the streets of Saffron. A name-tag on her collar read "Meisha". She was underfed and looked in dire need of food and shelter. Perhaps seeing something of himself in her; both alone on the streets, Zethe did his best to take Meisha under his wing and support her as best he could. Hanging around the city as he often would, Zethe was able to scrape together the meagre funds from passers-by to keep them both alive, and would often put the Persian before himself; passing on a day's meal to keep her fed.

When Zethe left the city to travel, he found that she simply followed him, and whenever trouble occurred she would battle as if he were her trainer. From then on, they have been inseparable, and share a unique bond that few trainers ever experience; one that does not come about through any amount of training.

Meisha possesses an extraordinary resilience and strength due to the trials she faced living as a stray in the streets of the city. From the starving and weak feline she was when she stumbled across Zethe, she has become a healthy and muscular fighter through their travels together; gaining excellent fighting experience from protecting Zethe on the open road.

As Zethe found Meisha on the streets, he is not her official owner, in the sense that he did not catch her in a Pokéball, and therefore she is unable to be withdrawn; she stays by his side through thick and thin with absolute and unquestionable loyalty.

He may appear hardened by living life as a run-down city-boy, but it has also given him a unique perspective on life; one that tells him, no matter what, nothing is impossible. When the odds aren't in his favour, then he's thankful there are at least odds, because nothing is certain.

Zethe hasn't had much chance to open his heart to anyone, with his sole companion for a long time being Meisha, and he rarely, if at all makes friends. It is not through harshness or a lack of manners that Zethe is usually alone, though, rather he distances himself through silence; more often than not he will let others do the discussing and sit back to mull things over in his mind.

Compulsory co-operation with others for such a mission as this could awaken something in him that he has lost, and he may even make a friend or two. Though this is not his motivation for taking part, a breath of fresh air in his life and a different outlook from new people would do him some good.

Good-will and kind-heartedness, buried beneath a complex of emotions.

Description:

Zethe's complexion is unusually pale. Whether this is due to a lack of proper nutrition or a simple birth trait he is unsure, but such trivial matters are hardly the point; what one notices is that Zethe is pale. As if to emphasize this, Zethe's eyes are also rather pale; milky-grey and blue, often with a slightly saddened or hurt look. His hair is not long enough to reach his shoulders but not too short as to be matted to his head; it flows freely from a rough parting, often brushed forward to cover his eyes; a ghostly curtain of silver concealing twin orbs of ice.

Zethe stands a little taller than most his age, though it rarely shows. He hides his body most of the time by leaning nonchalantly against any nearby walls, or sitting relaxedly. His torso barely has anything to it at all; years of not eating properly have left him rather lean though not emaciated, and his stomach is toned from a life of exercise.

In terms of clothing, Zethe was left on the streets with only one set; a pair of long, worn, sky-blue jeans a black leather jacket, usually kept at least partially unzipped despite the rain and slightly faded black boots, tough enough for him to travel in but discreet enough to be informal and worn where he wishes.

History:

Zethe grew up an orphan.

His father wasted away his money earned from a respectable position in the then-revolutionary Silph Co., and was eventually told that his constant missing of work and "undesirable reputation" was no longer welcome in the organization, at which point he was fired. Out of a job, he spent even more time away from home than he had done previously, eventually abandoning completely his home in Saffron, with his wife and a one-year-old Zethe, for whichever gutter he fell into in Celadon, where he spent his days drinking his problems away and gambling in a desperate attempt to piece together an income of sorts. Inevitably, either problem would give way, and this was indeed the case; a week or so before Zethe's second birthday his mother received notice that Zethe's father had been admitted to a medical centre with severe liver problems. The money was all gone, and he was not expected to make it through the year. He never lived to see Zethe smile.

Zethe's mother was too weak-minded to stand up to the delinquency of her husband and too scared to leave him for a better life. As a result, she was unable to support Zethe before his father's death and just as unable afterwards. A particularly frail woman, a common illness caught her immune system off guard the Winter after her husband's death, and she was confined to bed; too weak look after Zethe, and, eventually, too weak to live on. When she passed away in her sleep, Zethe was taken by social workers to a particularly rough orphanage in Saffron.

He had a hard time getting along with the other children; all with less morbid backgrounds and enjoying their new chance at life, they couldn't understand the silver-haired melancholy little boy who sat in the corner, watching wordlessly. Most of the other children found happy homes by their tenth birthdays, but due to his seeming lack of spirit, Zethe was never adopted by a family. Two years later, the orphanage was forced to close down due to a lack of funding, and Zethe was left on the streets.

A twelve-year-old boy on his own in a big city, Zethe had to learn fast. And learn he did. He wasn't like the other children; the idea of Pokémon didn't take him at all, perhaps due to his troubled past he was unable to find happiness in such things. He got by just on the idea of survival; becoming a regular face at the local shops where the kindly owners would spare him some leftover stock, let him stay the night if it was particularly stormy, or maybe even cook him up a little meal before the ingredients went out of date if he was lucky. But these were rarities, and Zethe learnt not to rely on others, as such good-hearted people seemed few and far between.

He would keep to himself, and lose track of the days, the weeks, the months, his age, maybe even his name from time to time. Sometimes he would wander the streets aimlessly, others he would venture to the outskirts of the city, but never too far. Due to his lack of interest in Pokémon at an early age, he never learned to catch or train them, and so travelling into the wild was dangerous.

This would all change one stormy night when the luminous shine of a Persian's eyes caught his attention, prowling towards him as it emerged from the smog lingering on the road...

Zethe is not a trainer, or at least does not consider himself one.

Interaction with the Zubat for the mission should be interesting and a learning experience for him, as he has never taught a Pokémon, per-se.

He doesn't have an unusual talent for training Pokémon, but the bond he shares with Meisha and their success as a team in battle is often wondered at by on-lookers.

Personality: Though he didn't turn snobbish as some trainers do after placing well in the Indigo Plateau, he did find that he considered himself better than others have getting a second place trophy. His friends he left behind to train for the Silver Conference. He never made new ones, and only interacted with people if it involved getting the next badge. When he returned from journeying, he ignored his friends. Eventually, he asked for forgiveness from them. His friends would say he is somewhat bossy and snobbish, though Wyvern would disagree, even after his journey.

Description: He has swapped the standard issue trainer uniform for light blue jeans and a long yellow t-shirt. He always wears a cap snuggly fit over his sandy-blonde hair and if you saw him, you would say his whole light-brown face was illuminated by his jade colored eyes. Wyvern stands a towering 6' 5'' and more startling is his thin frame.

History: He, as most did, set out on a journey at the edge of ten. Hailing from Cinnabar Island, his parents gave him a Growlithe as his first pokemon. He took the ferry to Pallet Town and his journey began. He placed second in the Indigo League, and third in the Silver Conference. He finally won all the marbles in the Hoenn League and returned home to take the Battle Frontier Challenge. After that, he spent a year training, planning to try out for a gym-leader position at the age of 18. Obviously, he's a top trainer and has been considered for the Bereau's work.

Personality - Actually, it's not too bad. I like for you to include a little more though. At least answer these questions, 1. What are Jude's relationships like? Describe how easily she makes friends. 2. What are Jude's views on the mistreatment of pokemon? 3. How does she feel about helping rescue the professors? 4. How easily does she trust others? This information will give us a better view of Jude's emotionally strusture.

Mission Pokemon: Zubat, male.

Personality: Kuro's a loner, who has great confidence in himself and his Pokemon. He trusts no one, befriends no one, and hates no one. Kuro is quite objective in most cases, and will most likely take the path of least resistance. He can be quite stubborn sometimes, which is commonly a trait suited for programming work. Plus, he doesn't always seem to have a reason for his actions.

Description: He has customized his Aqua uniform before getting into the facility. He now wears an eyepatch with built-in computer display giving him a wide array of information on everything he looks at. His blue and white striped shirt even has a protection against basic weaponry and light Pokemon attacks. Kuro upgraded his shoes by implementing vibration sensors in them. He isn't as bulky as he should be, which often leads to lenghty discussions over why he shouldn't be psychically attacked. Kuro has blinding white hair accompanied with dark green eyes. He also has a scar running across the lenght of the inside of his right underarm.

History: Computer wizz since the age of 4. He has hacked into several government systems, and remains uncaught until today. He knows a lot for his age, but he doesn't share his knowledge that much, which gave him the title of loner. His parents died when he was 13, so he has no one to fall back on. He's quite alone in the big men's world. The only reason why is asocial attitude made him join this retrieval operation, is because Kuro hadn't done a good job hiding his most recent criminal actions.
