On Sunday, at 12:00 AM, Eastern Time, the Roleplaying Olympics will begin. PE2K is one of five major pokemon forums competing against eachother to prove that their roleplayers are the best. For us, Kenny is judging while ElimN8 and Catriona are the representatives.

Bakura, Roleplaying is the art of pretending to be someone else or interacting in a pretend world. In the Olympics, a roleplayer writes his or her actions, thoughts, and words in order to interact in the fantasy world. But, don't take just my word. There are many kinds of roleplays out there, each run in a different way. In order to truly understand one, you must experience it. We have a roleplaying section on the forum, I suggest you look over them, and if you want, join one.

Yeah. Exactly. this might be like a promotional method, but it does "hype it up", which can help with the atmosphere of the event itself. I mean, it's not Olympics without the fans.

Maybe we should both do it. Like as one doesn't update, the other does it or something of the like. I'm taking into consideration of a tighter schedule I've been having lately, ubt I still kinda want to do it also...

Hmmm, I'm not sure what you mean to do, so you can do the first one and I'll follow your lead.

What, you mean, a summary of points, of plot developments, reviews of RPers ... ? Could you be more specific?

lol. Could be anything for that matter. I like the idea of plot summaries, but that might be a little difficult to piece everything together. The reviews of RPers I can definitely not work with, since I'm the judge and I hope to be more confidential. lol
Maybe Dry Ice you can do the RPer reviews. HKim and I do weekly summaries might work with it too.
*Notice that I have had no ideas on what to do either. Loss of creativity for a while there.

lol, it's even less possible for me to review RPers than it is for you, being a participant myself. :P
Well, this is only the beginning... I'm sure Harry would be able to manage weekly reviews of RPers and that, though.
Unless we can find some volunteers ... ? It could make for quite an interesting section of the PE2K Times. :tongue:
Whoa, thanks Lerdar and DP. I suspect we'll be up against some pretty tough competition, but if Nater actually decides to start writing, they don't stand a chance. :P

Well, I've not seen Harry around in the past couple of days, so hopefully he'll decide to turn up in time to take a part doing something along those lines.

Kenny, Cat, I have wrote an article on the Olympics for the PE2K Newspaper. As soon as Fair posts it, you can see it. I have only done the first week. Since the newspaper is monthly, I don't know what to do for the other three.

Well, I expect that an article of the first week would be enough... Although in future it might be a good idea (when possible, due to the excessive duration of the Olympics *cough*shortenittotwoweeks*cough*) to include the entire last season of RPing in your post.
