Neo Pokemon Journey

Neo Pokemon Journey takes place on a new land. This land is called 'Kokoro' which is japanese for 'will power'(or soemthing similar). The land operates completly based on will power. Every route is diffrent and you'll find just a normal path to cross. Nor will any gym battle be similar. This Pokemon journey starts where others ends. It has new Pokemon and no old ones at all.

The routes are as follows:

NeoHikari Town
This town is where everyone starts off. Professor Sugar is here to give you your starter Pokemon

Route 1 - Thorny Bushes
This route is blocked off by as huge thorn bush! Beware of flying Pokemon!

Rose Town
Rose town is a palce for grass Pokemon. There's a rose garden and behind the garden is the Pokemon Gym. Gym Leader Florana fights with her grass Pokemon here.

Route 2 - Tree Limb Stairs
A bunch of tree limbs that lead up into the sky. Beware, the Pokemon here are touch grass types that will gladly knock you off a limb if you don't have the Rose Badge.

More will come as people travel more :)

There are only 3 of each starter Pokemon so join while you can!

It was a warm, beautiful day in NeoHikari. The sun leaked through the puffy white clouds while the birds sang their joyious songs of glory, letting the wind sweep their music away and carry it around the tiny town.
Many houses in the town were, of course, filled with camotion as parents prepared to send their 10 year olds and over on a journey they would never forget.

And, in front of the first route, there was a large building. The Pokemon Lab of NeoHikari stood there, keeping people from entering or exiting the town without passing through the lab to have a pokemon given to them or healed. Prof. Sugar Heart stood in the lab, simply waiting for new lights to enter her lab.
"My job is to make new trainers shine, so I give them starters." She remembered saying this when she first opened her lab as a place for trainers to get new Pokemon. She'd gotten the job and when this new country was discovered she was given the job of helping trainers start their quest for greatness.

So now she stood, waiting peacefully for hopeful new trainers to knock at her doors and enter. On her desk were 9 PokeBalls; 3 Aqutoko, 3 Midornu and 3 Akat. These 3 species where sturdy Pokemon, perfect for a new trainer to start their quest with.

I was lazily sitting in a tree. I knew I was supposed to get a Pokemon today, but I wasen't in a hurry. A few days ago the his Poochena had died, and he was slowly failing in school. Among other things, this had sent him into a period of depression and general anger at the world. Figuring he had better get going, he hopped down from the tree and started walking towards the lab. Arriving there, he pushed through the door and walked in.

"Keiko, get up! You're going to be late!" My mother called from downstairs. I was still laying in bed with the covers over my head. My mom came upstairs and pulled the covers off of me. "Get up Keiko!"
"Okay, okay, I'm up..." I said as I slowly sat up, "What an I going to be late for?"
"Don't you remember? Today is the day you get your first pokemon!"
"WHAT!" I yelled as I jumped out of bed, "That's today! Oh man! How could I have forgot?!" I quickly ran over to the closet, got dressed, and brushed my hair. I then ran downstairs, threw some toast in my mouth and headed for the door.
"Keiko wait!"
"What now Ma?"
"I think you're forgetting something." she said as she pointed to my bookbag.
"Oh... Oops" I went over and picked up my bookbag from the table and saw under it a new Pokégear and Pokénav. "Wow! Thanks mom!" I walked over to her and gave her a big hug.
"I thought you might need those on your journey."
"Thanks mom. I'll call as much as possible."
"I'll miss you sweety." she said.
"I'll miss you too mom." I then walked out the door.
"Becareful Keiko!" she called from the window.
"I will Ma!" Then I ran off to Prof. Sugar's Lab. I opened the door and walked in. "Proffesor Sugar?" I said, "Are you here? I'm here to get my first Pokémon."

I heard the door open and close behind me. I looked over my shoulder. It was a girl who I didnt know. Ignoring here presence I walked up to the Prof.

"Yeah, Im here to do that to. Id like an Akat please."

I said.

IC: Marco Davis arose to the bright sunlight coming out of window. He tore out of his covers and dashed to the kitchen where his mom was making his last breakfast in the comfort of his own home. His socks made him fly across the kitchen floor as he hit the stove and stopped with a hard landing. "Owww..." he mumbled quietly. "I've got to stop doing that..." Marco stood back up rubbing the small red bump on his head. His mother laughed at him. She didn't want him to get a tantrum so she tried biting her lip. Her voice became stern. "Young man why aren't you dressed?" "Ummm... i'll get to it." Marco replied to his mother. He walked upstairs and got into the shower. He turned the hot water nearly to full blast. He had no idea he was doing it and didn't care. All he wanted to do today was get his pokemon and start his journey.

Marco strapped on his trainers bookbag and put on his new shoes. He sped downstairs with lightning speed and began to talk to his mother. "Fine..." she said sadly. As soon as he said that a small tear grew in her eye. "You're going to start your pokemon journey and there's nothing I can do to stop you. Marco hugged his mother. "I'll miss you too. Goodbye." Marco slowly walked out of the kitchen and out of the door. When he closed it he waved goodbye to his mother and walked to the of Prof.Sugar Heart. It was a easy walk there and Marco opened the door and he went in. He stood lone except for the prescence of Prof.Sugar Heart. "I'm not late am I?!" He saw two other trainers and Prof Sugar Heart. He made the best of the moment. "Hi you guys!" he said shyly.

I heard the door open again and looked to see who it was. This person I reconized. It was Marco. I didnt really know him, but he went to the same school I did.


"Hi..." I said to him quietly.

"Hey Tom." I replied to him. "What pokemon do you think you'll get? I'm sure i'm getting a Akat!"

"Hey Marco...Im getting an Akat too."

The young woman turned around to face the new lights, her blue eyes glowing with joy that so many had come. "Ok! Hello! Now, before you go. You are the first trainers to go through this land. The gym leaders have pokemon from the past countries but they are still strong. Now! I think I heard someone wanted a Akat?" She said with a grin, tossing a Pokeball into the air.
"Catch!" She called happily, pushing her long pink hair behind her ears and looking around.
"Did I hear that someone else wants an Akat?" She asked, tossign a second Pokeball into the air, hoping it would be caught by whoever wanted it.

As another boy entered, I sood there quietly. I didn't know either of the two. I didn't know what to say two either of them. I was never used to being aroung guys. I went to an all-girl school. So I am usually very uneasy around them. So I just stood there and waited for the proffesor to walk forward and speak.

As Prof. Sugar Heart threw the ball into the air I made a dive for it. I nearly missed. The ball easily layed into my palm and I fell face down. "Oww man that hurts!" Marco rubbed the second bump on his head. "Oh wow!" Marco said too overjoyed to say much at all. "C'mon out Akat!" Marco thrusted the ball onto the ground as it came back into his hand. A red light circled around and the creature Akat appeared. "Wow!" "You're my new best friend!" Marco chuckled as he picked up the creature. "Hi i'm Marco." "Akat kat!" it said.

"That Akat is a male. Here, take these too." Prof. Sugar said with a smile, tossing Marco and Pokedex, PokeNav, 5 Pokeballs, Potion and PokeBlock Case.
"These are for you. Everyone gets one of each, of course. Anyways, you should head off now."

Prof. Sugars Lab

"Huh?"

I looked up and saw a Pokeball sailing my way. I reached up and grabbed it.

"Thanks, Prof. Sugar!"

I examined the pokeball. It was black on the top and white on the bottom. I reconized it from a book on pokkemon training. It was a heat ball. It was designed to be abel to stand intense heat. Inside a pokeball was a climate contolled enviroment for the pokemon. In a flame ball there was often volcanos and such, so the ball would have to stand up to 30000 Ferinheight. There was also above the small button in the middle a Fireball insignia. Wanting to see my pokemon, I pressed the button and red energy spewed out and formed my Akat.

I kneeled down in front of it.


It shrieked its cry.
"Akat!"

"Hey...I think i'll think up a name for you soon."

I went upm to the counter and took the things she told me to, and put them in my pack.

"Thanks!"

"Im Tom, Akat."

I tooked the ballk and recalled my new Pokemon.

"I think you've got a male too." Prof. Sugar said as she tossed all the trainer supplies to the new trainers. "You guys work ahrd for me, ok? Does anyone want... Aqutoko?" She asked, now tossing an Aqutoko's Pokeball into the air for a random person to catch. Hopefully someone would catch the Pokeball...

IC: As Prof Sugar also tossed Marco the five pokeballs along with other trinkets. "Man these are gonna be the best years of my life!" Marco yelled. C'mon Akat. Marco didn't like the name Akat. It wasn't right for him thats all. "Would you like your new name to be Blazy?" Marco asked looking into it's eyes. "Kat kat!" it said happily. Marco put Blazy down."Tom do you want to travel with me?" he asked. Then he turned to Proffesor Sugar hear "Proffessor Sugar where do we go now?" Marco asked.

"Next you go to the Thorny Bushes. There are a couple flying type Pokemon there... One is called Darkinu." She explained, taking her own Pokedex and flipping through it a bit. Then she showed it to Marco.

"Ok then, you two! Good luck!" Prof. Sugar said cheerfully "WAIT! Before you go, I have a favor to ask! You see, I need to collect data on all the Pokemon here, but I can't leave my lab. Could you guys, maybe, collect the data for me with your Pokedexes? It'd be a HUGE help." She explained happily.

"Excuse me Proffesor." I said softly, "I was wondering if I could have a Midornu." I was still kind of shy since the two boys were still around. Then I started staring at one of the pokeballs with a Midornu in it. 'I really hope I can have one.' I thought.

I let out my Pokemon.

"Im gonna name you....Wings of Flame! Wing for short."

I programmed Wing's data into my Pokedex.

Prof. Sugar nodded, taking a Pokeball off her desk and handing it to the young girl with a gentle smile. "I don't know the gender yet, but here. IT's all for you. Would you mind collecting Pokemon datat too, for me? Please?"

Suddenly, a crowd of other kids rushed in to get Pokemon.
"YAK! No! Wait! Please stand back for a bit longer!" Prof. Sugar begged, closing a door so the kids couldn't get in "Oooowaaaaa....."

"Here you go. It's a she." She explained as she turned around to get Fleur a Pokedex, PokeNav, 5 Pokeballs, Potion, etc.

"Wow!" I cried, "Thanks Proffesor Sugar! Sure I'll help you with your research. It should be a great experience!" Suddenly a bunch of kids burst through the doors and the proffesor ran over to hold them back. o_O 'Woah.' I thought, 'I'm glad Mom got me up when she did.' I quicky grabbed the supplies that I needed, pushed through the crowd, and ran out the door. "Thanks again Proffesor!" I called back. Then I ran off to Thorny Bushes.

"No problem Pofessor Sugar!" Marco said with a smile. He opened the ball and Akat came out. He pointed the pokedex at Akat and a a pokeball was by it's name. Marco touched a red button and Akat's info and stat's appeared. "I'm positive i'm gonna catch that Firey Darkinu!" Marco turned to Tom. "Let's go before we get trampled!" he joked.

Fleur nodded happily, opening the pokeball that held her Aquatoko. She placed the pokeballs and other items in her bag, her hair held up in a ponytail for today.

"Thank you, Professor!"

I stood nearby and watched the crowd of kids charge over to the Professor. I turned away and listened to Marco.

I looked around just in time to see Prof. Sugars hand dissapear under the swarms of people.

"Ouch..." I said to myself.

Thorny Bushes






As Marco and Tom stood outside a large bush blocked thier way. "How are we gonna get through it without being cut?" Marco asked Tom. "Our Akat's could burn it down but the pokemon won't have any homes and it'll be a serious fire.

"Ugg...yeah...how do we get in?"

"If only we had one of those flying things...."

I stared at the bush.

"Hey look! theres a little opening in it. We could try and crawl through..."

[Lucky Flareon]

Lucky raced around, looking for clothes, money, and every other thing that she would need on her journey through the lands. She was excited, who wouldn’t be before starting their Pokemon journey? After all, her mother had made her wait an extra 3 years before she was allowed to start, something Lucky still brought up from time to time. Yet, at the same time she was scared. She was one of the first exploring a new land with new Pokemon, and her books could only help so much, and she knew it. She finished packing up and raced out the door, only to be stopped by her mom.

“Lucky, get back here this instant!”

“Mom, I have to go now! I’ll talk to you on my cell phone, promise. I have to get over to the lab, I’m already late! What if I don’t get an Aquatoko, then the journey isn’t even worth it!”

“Enough with your talk about this silly Aquatoko. You forgot to say good-bye to me.”

“Bye,” Lucky said while hugging her mother. She kissed her cheek and raced off towards the lab, hoping she wouldn’t get there before all the best Pokemon had been picked out.

“Remember to call me every night!”

“I will!” Lucky shouted while rounding the bend of their street. Now that she was out of her mom’s sight, she dashed across the road, praying that the light would stay red long enough for her to run across. Her luck stayed with her as the light turned green right as her right foot lifted off the road. From there she only needed to run through a couple backyards and to the lab.

“Thank god my mom isn’t here to see me,” she mumbled, knowing how much her mom wanted her to be ‘proper’.

She walked inside the lab’s doors, panting softly. She walked to the back of the lab, where the Pokemon were handed out each year.

“Professor Sugar! I need and Aquatoko right now! All the other people are sooooo far ahead already,” Lucky shouted, waiting for the Professor’s response.

It suddenly became very cold, frost licking the thorn covered bushes, and then suddenly very warm.
"DARK!" Cried a voice angrily, a rustling sound easily heard from deep inside the bushes.
"NU!" Cried another voice, the second sounding more female then the first. A small, burnign rock flew out of the bushes and nearly hit Tom in the face while a cry of pain echeod from inside the bush.

"Ok, here." Prof. Sugar said, handing Lucky her Pokeball and starter items. "So, you finally got your mother to let you come, huh?" She asked with a light giggle, remembering how many times Lucky hadn't appeared to get a Pokemon "Welp, it's nice to see you're coming. You must be excited since these lands haven't been explored throughly before."

Tom!" Marco screamed. "Release your pokemon and go for the ice on!" I'll go for the dark! Throwing a pokeball the red entity once again circled and formed Blazy the Akat. Blazy screech!" Marco said. The duo of pokemon fell to the floor of the loud noise. "Tom try releasing your pokemon now!"

Fleur muttered under her breath, looking somewhat distressed.

Fleur gasped and moved quickly towards the bush, Aquatoko close behind. Fleur tried to get to where the sound was coming from, but ended up getting many cuts. Aquatoko watched, moving towards the sound in interest.

I ran over to the spot, getting mutiple cuts, but I didnt care.

"Pardon me Fleur, but I need to get this one."


I Pulled out the Heat ball and threw it to the ground.


"Go, Wings!"

"Akat Kat!"

"Akat use pound on it now!"

Lucky smiled at her new Pokemon, safe inside the walls of its Poke ball.

“Well it took a lot of extra chores, and begging, but I think she finally realized that I need to be out there,” Lucky said while pointed out the door. “She is still nervous and all, and if I don’t call her everyday she will come find me, and drag me home by my hair!” Lucky giggled while imitating her mother’s speech to her. “Luckily my dad knows that I am bored beyond belief at home, and helped me convince her to let me finally come get my first Pokemon.”

Lucky looked out the window, and smiled, knowing she would be starting her journey soon.

“I can’t wait to get out there. It’s scary and all, knowing that I won’t get all the guidance that I would if I were traveling through Kanto. Yet, it’s exciting, knowing that I could be that person who guides everybody else. I can’t wait to see what kind of Pokemon are out there,” Lucky said while drifting into a world of imagination of never before seen Pokemon.

"Throw the pokeball now!" Marco screamed at Tom. The dark pokemon fired a beam at Blazy sending him skyrocketing. "Blazy!!!"

Thorny Bushes - In front of Marco&Tom

The Ice Darkinu dartted towards Marco, trying to tackle his Pokemon. How dare some worthless human and his stupid little Pokemon interupt her battle like this?!

The Fire Darkinu, on the other hand, attempted to tackle the Akat belonging to Tom. Tom was just as worthless to the Darkinu as MArco to the Icy.
"DARK! INU!" It screeched angrily as it attempted its attack.

"SORNEEEE!" Screamed the golden furred feline, struggling more then ever. She was caught in the thorny bushes, her wings failing to free themself from the grip of a branch.
"SORNE!" Repeated the female creature, flapping her wings more despratly then ever "SORNE NEEE NEEE! SOR!"

"I think you'll do well, Lucky. Hey, could you do 2 favors? For one, I need you to gather Pokemon data on your Pokedex. The second favor is I need you to give the other trainers these."

The Prof handed Lucky a box and in side were 4 golden collars.
"I need these on a Pokemon, wrist... Anything." She said simply, pointing out how they could retract in size or become alot bigger "Anywhere you won't lose them. They allow me to comunicate with you guys and keep track of where you are."

Fleur looked in amazement at the pokemon, trying to get closer even though the bushes were giving her scratches.

"Shh....It's okay. I just want to help you..."

Aquatoko moved through the bushes as well, keeping an eye on the pokemon.

The Ice Darkinu attacked Blazy with it's tackle attack making Blazy fall to the ground. "Hey you're not my problem." Marco said to the Ice Darkinu. "He is.'' Marco pointed to the Fire Darkinu. "So buzz off because you're not what I want or need!" Blazy got up angry at the ice Darkinu. "Attack the Fire Darkinu!" Marco said as Blazy prepared another pound onto the creature. Blazy hit it with all his might.

[Agent Orange]

"Akat! Try and pound the Ice Darkinu on the side of its head!"

The Pokemon collided with the Darkinus temple.

I threw a Pokeball at it....

Thorny Bushies - In Front of Fleur

The Sorne squeeled in delight, seeing someone there to rescue her, nd jumped forward in attempts to get to Felur. She then screamed, her wings tearing and a muscle pulled as she got free.
"SORNE!" Whined the golden Pokemon, falling to her knees and whimpering madly. It hurt!!!

Thorny Bushes - In Front of Tom&Marco

The Icy Darkinu simply slapped the Pokeball away with its wings, one of Tom's balls wasted. Angry for being considered useless the ice creature tackle d Blazy again, this time much more forcefully.

The Firey Darkinu glared at Blazy for attacking him, throwing red hot embers in the Pokemon's face. One of the embers missed and went flying at Marco while another hit the Icy Darkinu. The Icy creature screeched in pain, tossing the ember at Tom to get it off her beautiful ice blue fur.

Fleur picks up the Sorne, petting it gently. She sits on the ground, searching for something to help the pokemon, and pulled out a pokeball.

"This may be the best thing I've got..."

I ducked so the fireball would miss me. It flew and hit the huge thornbush behind me. Foosh! The whole thing started to burn!

"Time for something unorthidox..."

"Wings! Get near the bush and catch on fire, then jump onto the Ice thingamabobber!"

The Icy Darkinu screeched as the bushes caught fire, coughing a bit. It was now weak enough to be caught, its eyes barely open and face to the ground.

The Firey Darkinu, on the other hand, jumped at Marco and tried to knock him over. He had enough of being treated like a pest by two humas, treated like something easy to get!
"DARK!" It screeched angrily.

"Marco!"

I ran over and to him and kicked the Dark thingy in the head.

"Wings! Attack that Darkinu!"

I thew a pokeball over my shoulder and hit the Ice Darkinu with it.

The Firey Darkinu knocked Akat away, the wamrth of the roaring fire increasing its strength. It roared loudly and turned to Marco, eyes burning with anger and pain. WHY? Why were humans here destoring his home?!

The Icy Darkinu was easily sucked into the Pokeball, unable to do anything to fight back.

My Akat was knocked away. It was weak and tired.

I yelled at it.

I jumped on the Darkinus back and grabbed its neck and applied pressure to its Carodded artery. I held it there. If Pokemon were anything like humans, it would pass out in a matter of seconds.

"Akat finsh it off with pound!" Marco yelled. The creature jumped and slamed Firey Darkinu.




"Pokeball go!" Marco said as he twisted his cap around, jumped and threw the ball very quickly at Firey Darkinu. Marco was sweating along with Akat. Did Marco capture it?

[Lucky Flareon]

Lucky looked down at the golden collars and nodded, knowing that she would have to hurry in order to catch the trainers who had already started, but she was up to the challenge, knowing that many more awaited her.

“I’ll do my best with the Pokedex, and try to get these to the other trainers as quickly as I can… Not sure how fast that will be though, they are already far ahead. Well no use standing around here, might as well get going. Bye Professor!”

Lucky walked out the door, making sure to wave at the aides before she stepped into the summertime sun’s rays. She took the Poke Ball from off her belt and tossed it in her hands a couple of times, liking the feel of being a trainer, a real trainer at last. After a few tosses, she gave it one real throw on the ground, reveling her Pokemon.

“Aquaaaa,” it cried. I looked over the Pokemon. She was blue, and stood easily on her four legs. She had a long blue tail, and was beautiful in Lucky’s eyes.

“Yes need a name…” Lucky said softly while thinking. “How bout…”

“Aqua,” her new Pokemon finished. Lucky was surprised that her ‘Pokemon talk’ actually sounded like an English word.

“Aqua huh? Well it suits you, and you seem to like it… I guess that’s what I’ll call you from now on. Aqua and Lucky, the most powerful partners in the region … well maybe later,” Lucky said with a giggle.

“Aqua Aqua to” Aqua responded, seeming to like the idea as well.

“Well, for now we have to do other things, starting with finding the other trainers. This would be so much easier if I knew their cell phone numbers…” Lucky sighed.

Aqua looked at her in confusion, not knowing what a cell phone was. Lucky laughed, but quickly stopped herself, not wanting Aqua to feel humiliated. She took the cell phone from the side of her backpack and began to show what it could to to Aqua.

“See here is the numbers of my friends…and games… and different ringtones…” Lucky rambled on. Aqua nudged her, reminding her that they needed to be on their way. “Yeah, we better get going.” Lucky started walking and Aqua trotted alongside her eagerly, just as excited as Lucky was.

They continued to walk on eagerly until they reached a huge thorn bush.

“Well now that we are kinda stuck … Hey I know them. Tom! Marco! Fleur! Prof wanted me to give these to you,” Lucky shouted while holding out three of the four golden collars.

Something slammed into the Darkinu causing me to loosen my hold.

"Gaa!"

I heard Marco yelling something.

"No! Dont attack it! IM ON ITS BACK!!"

Thorny Bushes - Tom&Marco

The firey creature hissed, strugglign to getting free of Tom's grasp. Lucky for it, Darkinu were strong and this one was at jsut high enough a level to break free at the last second.
"INU!" Growled the Pokemon, eyes fixed in a dark glare on Marco. This was the last time that human would ever see the light of day!

The weakened Pokemon ran forward, locking his jaws around Tom's arm and sinking his teeth as far as they would go. He was mad and people didn't like it when he got mad.

It had taken far too long for Marco's Pokedex to react to its surroundings. A beeping sound leaked from its speakers and data was spilled out in the form of a female's voice.
"Icy Darkinu. This creature is extremly weakened by fire unless next to a Firey Darkinu. Together, these two Pokemon make an awesome fighting pair.
Firey Darkinu. This creature is weakened by water unless in battle with an Icy Darkinu. These two pokemon are an awesome fighting pair. Firey Darkinu are closer to Icy Darkinu then Icy are the Firey*.

*= In other words, Firey is more protective of Icy then Icy is of Firey. (Fire=Passion, except in this case, Friendship. Ice= Emotionless. Doesn't care.)

Fleur got up and started thinking about what she was going to do to get around the bush safely. Aquatoko sat watching her as she played with the dirt a bit.

"Hm...how are we gonna get through this bush? There's probably only one way, and that's to walk al the way into it and come out the other side...."

She thinks deeply about what she should do.

As Marco threw the ball it escaped at the last minute. "Damn it!" Marco yelled. Since Icy Darkinu was out of the picture Firey Darkinu weakened. "You have to make this last pound count!" Marco yelled. Once again Blazy jumped up higher than ever before and crashing down with encredible speed. "Kat, kat, kat, kat, kat, kat, kat, Akat!" it yelled as it soared then fell onto Fiery Darkinu. Both pokemon sank to their knees. "Pokeball go!" Marco said as he threw as hard as possible to capture it. "C'mon!"

[Agent Orange]

When Marcos Akat slammed into the Darkinu, it broke its grip on my arm.

My arm, limp and bleeding at my side, I staggered over to the pokeball.

"Icy, go..."

The Ice pokemon came out and stared at me angrily.

"Save it! Put out the fire!"

[Tamer Marco]

"Tom send it back into your ball!" "As long as it's brother is on the field it'll protect him no matter what!" Marco explained. "Check the pokedex!"

[Agent Orange]

"Ok..."

"Return Icy!!"

I hit the pokemon over the head with the ball and it sucked it in.

Marco released both pokemon and sprayed them with potions. They both smiled happily as I called back Akat. Yeah, lets get going. Spray your Darkinu with a potion. Flying is the only way across..." Marco said grimly as he got on his Darkinu's back.

"True."

"I only have one potion, so i'll spray Icy. Id rather spray Wings, but Im flying out of here."

I relesed Icy and sprayed him with the potion.

"Lets go to Rose town. We can get supplys and I can wrap this damn arm."

[Tamer Marco]

"Good." "It's soaking in blood." Marco said. "Lets go!" Marco said happily as he flew onto his new pokemon soaring into the clouds. In thirty seconds flat he was on the other side of the bush.

"Ow, yeah your little friend there got me good."

I got on Icy who grudeingly followed Marco over the bush.

[Lucky Flareon]

“Lets figure out how to get past this later. We can eat now, seeing as I didn’t eat before I left and it’s already lunch time,” Lucky suggested.

Aqua nodded her head in agreement and sat down in the shade of a large tree, taking a quick look around to make sure that no other Pokemon were around. Lucky sat down beside her Pokemon, and searched around her backpack for something to eat. She pulled out a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for herself, and some Pokemon food she had purchased at the local stare a few days back.

“Hey … Oh no! I forgot to bring plates, and forks …. Oh I forgot all that stuff!” Lucky sighed, knowing she didn’t really have money to spare on such items. Then she remembered that if her mother sent some to her via PC then she wouldn’t have to worry. She quickly pulled out her cell phone, selected her home number, and pressed the send button.

“Hello,” her dad said on the other end.

“Hiya dad! It’s me, Lucky.”

“Lucky, great to hear from you. Get the Pokemon that you have been talking about nonstop for the past three years?”

“Yep, and it seems to like me. We still have a long ways to go, obviously, but I think I started out on the right foot.”

“Glad to hear it kiddo. So where are you now?”

“In front of a huge thorn bush, what a pain. So me and Aqua, that’s what I named my Pokemon, are eating now.”

“Well you think about what you need to do. I would help you out, but I have no idea what to do myself.”

“Anyways, I need to talk to mom, it’s important.”

“Ok kiddo, love you.”

“Love you too dad.” Lucky waited a few seconds before her mom’s voice came from the other end.

“Hi honey. Dad said you needed to talk to me, and he said it was important. What is it? Forget something?”

“Actually yes…”

“I told you to pack earlier so that we wouldn’t have this problem. But no … you needed to do it in half the time and forget half the things. Oh sorry, this should be a happy time for you, and I’m bringing you down.”

“Don’t worry about it mom, I didn’t forget that much. I just need you to send me my…”

“Utensils right? No need to answer, I knew it the minute I walked back into the kitchen. I saw them lying on the counter, right were you put them yesterday. Don’t worry though, I already sent them.”

“Thanks mom. Well I have to go love you.” Lucky hung up, and quickly ate her sandwich, while she fed Aqua another sandwich, not sure if it was good for her or not, but she seemed to enjoy it enough.

“Let’s go look for any Pokemon,” Lucky said while walking into the bushes. Aqua followed, just as eager to find another Pokemon as Lucky was.

OOC: Wow, that whole phone conversation was totally pointless… Sorry about that. ^.^;;

Up ahead as small city could be reconized that was Rose City. "Tom I see Rose City!" "It's not far so we can still fly!" Once again Marco got on Darkinu's back and he flew off. "Dark Nu!" it said angrily. "C'mon Tom this is fun!" Marco said unaware Darkinu was irritated.

"When we get there why dont you go get some supplys and junk while I get patched up."

IC:"Okay!" Marco said as he landed in Rose city. He stopped at the nearest pokemart and went in. He was greeted by the shop keeper and Marco began to browse. He picked up two potions a couple of antidotes and Paralyze heals and plenty of food for himself, Tom and Marco'
s pokemon along with Tom's. He checked out and put the the supplies in his bag. "Hello." a kind stranger said to Marco as he began to walk around the city. "How do you do?" Marco said as he was amazed. He stood right in front of a pokemon gym. " Marco thought of Tom. "He'd probably be in the ER by now." he said to himself. "He's my friend so this battle will have to wait. Marco dashed to the ER knowing Tom will be there.

Marco was feet away from the ER. The automatic door opened as Marco stepped in seeing Tom. "Long time no see." Marco joked. Marco dug into his bookbag for supplies and food for his two pokemon. "Here." Marco said handing the utensil's to Tom. "Just think of it as a present when you save my butt." Marco said smiling.

"Heh, thanks..."

"Ah forget this, Ill just wrap it up with a medi bandage, lets go."

"Okiedokie..." Marco said. "It's your health. "And I have something to show you it's the Rose City Gym!" Marco shouted. The receptionist told him to be quiet. "Lets go now!"

I walked out of the ER.

"Just give me a minite here."

I pulled out the roll of medical tape and wrapped it around my arm. when I was done I had a makeshift bandage-cast.

"Okay!" Marco said eagerly. As quick as a mouse Marco led Tom to the gym of flowers.Panting Marco and Tom made it to the Rose gym. Roses covered all the windows and a pretty girl could be seen on a green platform."Let's go in."

I pulled Marco along up to the battle arena.

"Im Tom Rhodes and this is Marco Davis, and we'd like to battle you."

"My name is Florana. It's a pelasure to meet you all. And sure, a gym battle would eb positivly lovely." The girl said cheerfully. Her hair was long and blonde, tied back in a ponytail, and she wore a greet t-shirt and matching skirt.

"Not yet, Florana! They've gotta get passed ME first!" Declared a younger trainer, no doubt a Lass. "My name is Rosana! If you wanna get the honor to fight Florana you must beat me first!" She said firmly to the two boys "And I'll only fight one of you at a time! We'll be using the gym's battle style."

OOC: I suggest you ask what the battle style is xD

"Whats a battle style, dare I ask?"

I queried, walking towards her.

Rosana smiled, nodding her head as if to tell Tom that the question was ok.
"At this gym we have 2 battles. One is for actual fighting skills and the other is to prove you're worthy of the badge. You must use the same Pokemon for both fights. This gym allows two Pokemon per battle. The first competition is more reflexing on your bond with your Pokemon. If you don't treat your Pokemon nicely, you won't get the badge. The second is a fight, just like normal battles, in a gym's special arena. Our arena here is outside next to a lake in the garden." Rosana explained with a light giggle.

"Still wanna challenage me or do you wanna work more on your Pokemon bonds?"

"Draaaa!" Cried a leaf green Pokemon, flapping her blue leafy wings as she flew over Lucky's head. Lucky's Pokedex beeped loudly, startling the Pokemon who began to fly circles around Lucky's head.
"Drani. A plant type dragon. These creatures are great fighters. The blue leaf on their head is said to be good when used in medicines. These dragons are rarely seen and tend to be very easy to capture." The Pokedex said in its usual robotic voice.

"DARKINU!" Cried a firey Darkinu is distress. It appeared to be young, not small enough to ride yet but getting there. It was along, his Icy sister lost in the Thorny bushes. His parents, the Darkinus of Tom and Marco, had been seperated from him and now the poor creature was lost and alone.

I got my Pokemon healed here.

I was in a small clearing surrounded by the thorn bushes.

I began to look around for A wild Pokemon.

"Dark..." Moaned the firey Pokemon, moving towards Fleur. It bared its teeth suddenly, looking ready to fight her.Darkinu were supposed to be merciless beasts and that was how this little guy thought he was supposed to be! He'd be a disgrace not to attack!

"What are you looking for?" Asked a girl as she stepped out of the bushes. She stared at Tom, eyes wide with surprise and shock "Ooooh! You were at the Pokemon lab!" She exclaimed happily "Wanna battle? I lost my starter but I caught some equally strong Pokemon."

The girl smiled, flipping her long brown hair behind her ears and grinning. In truth, she was just starting her life as a theif. No one knew yet and she planned to keep it that way.
"Wanna see my rare n' beautiful Pokemon?"

I heard someone address me.

"Huh?"

I looked behind me. It was a girl around my age.

"Well, sure i'll battle you."

"I was just looking for a fight."

Aquatoko watched the Darkinu carefully, ready to strike if needed.

IC: I headed towards Thorny Bushes. I was so happy that I had finally gotten a pokemon.
"Come on out Midornu!" I held out the pokeball and released my Midornu.

OOC: I am assuming it's a grass type. ^_^;

IC: "Midornu" it cried happily.
"Care to do a little exploring in Thorny Bushes?"
"Mid mid!"
"Great! Let's go!" I ran off towards the giant thorn bush. A little ways inside it I saw a girl walking around. Then I realized that it was Lucky. "Hey Lucky!" I called as a ran over to her, "Hey! It's me, Keiko! We went to school together!"

OOC: Just gonna wait for Lucky to come online. But I don't care. I had an exiting day today! Let me put it this way. I was on a trip, something happened to the bus *cough*accident*cough*, and I didn't get back to school until 2:30 which is when we get out! YEAH!!! :clap: :biggrin:

"My name's Midori." The girl said with a smile, taking a Pokeball out of her hair. Midori was wearing a black 1 piece mini skirt with a tanktop top. Behind her ears, on ethier side, were hair clips with a Pokeball on each. Around her neck was a necklace with 1 Pokeball on ethier side of a great ball in the middle.

"Go, Drani!" She cried, realeasing her first Pokemon.

I threw wings pokeball down and he beamed out.

Yeah, well its gonna be the Deady-Wedyest when Im through with it.

"This is Wings."

I said aloud.

Fleur makes a small yelp and holds up her hands in a brace, as Aquatoko leaps in front of her, growling. Sorne also leaps in front of Firey Darkinu protectively.

"I think I'll go first." Midori annouced happily "DRANI! Use your gust attack!" It was clear Midori's pokemon had done alot of training, perhaps already level 10. The dragon's speed was lightning fast and the little bugger's wings were flapping so fast the few leaves on the bushes were ripped clean and blew away.

Rose City

More embers were shot in the direction of Aqutoko, the little Darkinu unable to tell a water Pokemon from a fire one. The black canine seemed to believe that he could rip Aqutokos apart with his flames, but he was very wrong.

I thought of a good spot for my Akat to aim.

"Wings! Pound it in its face!!"

I yelled to my Akat.

[Lucky Flareon]

OOC: Yeah, I’m a little lost about where I am too, but I’ll figure out later, lol.

Aqua looked up along with Lucky at the Drani flying overhead. Lucky had heard of the Pokemon before, one of her friends had captured one. Lucky sighed deeply, knowing that Aqua was at a disadvantage if the Drani knew any grass moves. Then they would really be in for it.

“Ok Aqua, we are ready for our first battle … I hope. Lets start things off with a scratch!”

With that Aqua ran forward and pulled her claws across the Drani’s face.

Aquatoko tackles the Darkinu, angry that it would dare attack Fleur.

"Aqua! Aquatoko!"

Fleur runs out of the way of the fire, revealing several burns on her arms where the flames had hit her skin.

Lucky

The dragon Pokemon yelped in surprise, falling to the ground and just laying there, looking awfully helpless. Then, slowly, it rose to its feet and hissed at Lucky. It knew no grass moves, being at a simple level 5, so went forward with an all out tackle attack against Lucky's Aqutoko.

Fleur

The Darkinu fell back under the might of the attack, rolling backwards and smashing head on into a building close by. Angered by this attack, he got to his feet and tried to tackle Aqutoko to the ground.

Tom vs Midori

Drani brushed the attack off as if nothing had happened to her, seeming to smirk. The attack had merely chipped a small amount of HP off her and the green dragon wasn't going to back down yet.
"Drani! Gust again!" Midori ordered. Once again, the dragon flapped her leafy wings, creating a gust of wind to knock Wings back.

My Pokemon was thrown back but not weakened much.

It popped back up, still ready to fight.

Fleur gets out a pokeball and holds it in her hand, ready for when she could capture the Darkinu. Aquatoko slid backwards about 5 feet with the impact, growling slightly.

Once again, Drani was thrown back a bit by the pound, only a bit more then before. Her wings were aching, something Midori's expected to happen, and her next gust attack was alot weaker then the one people.
"Give it your all, Drani! Keep those wings pumping!" Midori ordered, looking a bit scared. She was losing the battle! Drani was beating herself up without even realizing it!

Fleur

Darkinu fell back, once again very weak. With a final moan, the Pokemon fell forward. He hadn't fainted, but was so close to the knock out that he appeared to already be out like a light.

Fleur, seeing her chance, throws the pokeball at Darkinu, hoping to capture him. Aquatoko watches and moves quickly to Fleur, checking to see if she was okay. Sorne, also worried, runs over to Fleur and Aquatoko.

The next gust was a lot weaker. It barely pushed back my Akat.

"Wings! This time, charge-pound it in the side where its wing is!"

"I can't believe I jsut lost to a loser like you! But, I guess now that you're my rival..."

Midori giggled a bit, walking forward to Tom and kissing him on the cheek.
"You'd better watch your back." She said as she walked off "Because if you don't... Well, trust me. It won't be good for you."

Wings gains 2 levels! Wings learned Ember! Wings Learned Smokescreen!
Tom gets 2 Pokeballs, 2 Potions and a new rival for winning!

A the form of a large dog was clearly visible in the distance. What could it be? The creature turned to face Tom, its eyes glowing sapphire blue. Then, it ran off and vanished into the darkness of the thorn bushes, maybe never to be seen again.

Tom's Pokedex was going crazy over the Pokemon. It had never seen the Pokemon before, so they were no doubt very rare, maybe one of a kind!
Then, finally, it dug up some information from an old legend.
"Racutei. This dog is said to be the rarest of the rare. Stories often speak of this Pokemon as the creature that created the 3 legendary dogs in Jhoto. Then, according to legend, it gave the dogs elemental powers so Jhoto would be balanced. This creature is rarely seem and though to probbly no exist."

For the first challenage, your pokemon and you are going to be playing hide and seek here! The game simply tests your Pokemon's attention span and how it reacts to you being missing. Both of us will hide and Miss. Budina will take our Pokemon outside the gym. We get 30 seconds to hide and then she'll let them in again."

Budina waved, being another Lass. She seemed very eagar to help, since this was her first day as a gym trainer.
"Are you ready?!" Rosana asked, holding her Pokeball in her hand tightly.

I tried to run after it. But I knew it was gone.

I checked the Dex again, and sure enough, its data was there.

"I gotta show this to the proffesor!!"

I let out my Darkinu and used it to fly to the outside of the gym.

I returned Icy and busted into the gym yelling Marcos name.

OOC: My character was saying that he wanted to fight next.


"But..." he tried to protest. "I was here... first..."


Since the girl was already about to battle Marco had nothing better to do than to sit and watch. "Maybe I should of went with Tom..." Marco thought.


Tom then bursted into the gym calling Marco's name. "What?!" he shouted back.

I slammed into Marco.


"Oof!....MARCO!! MARCO!!! YOU WILL NOT BELIVE WHAT I SAW!! LOOK AT THIS POKEDEX PAGE!!!"

I handed him the Dex.

Lucky watched as the grass Pokemon collided into Aqua, sending her flying backwards.

“Ok, this battle isn’t about strength alone. Try a tail whip to lower its defenses, that should make the battle a little easier.”

Aqua nodded and dashed off towards the Pokemon, and then whipping her tail across it.

"Wow... but that's impossible!" Marco said. How can you do that and why did it appear to you?"

Without realizing it, the grass dragon's defence fell. But, the dragon was still in the mood to defeat the Aqutoko, so flew at the aquatic kitten with all her might. The tackle attack was, as anyone could tell, not very successful.

[Agent Orange]

"I don't know!"

"I was kicking through some branches when I saw this! It stared right at me for a few seconds, then it ran!"

"We have got to show Proffesor Sugar Heart!!"

[Tamer Marco]

"Yeah lets go!" Marco released Darkinu and opened the door. They flew straight off to Proffessor Sugar's lab.

Lucky smiled, knowing that Aqua should be able to outlast the other Pokemon. But, of course, like in all other things, there was no sure outcome.

"Ok, try another scratch. It should be more effictive this time, seeing as how its defences were lowered with your previous attack..."

Before Lucky could finish up what she was saying, Aqua had already dashed over to the dragon and dug her claws into it's back.

"Wow.. It's... Racutei... My mother used to always talk about him in stories..." She whispered quietly, looking at the information in disbelief.
"If you guys really saw him... I wonder if the other Pokemon from those stories are true..."

"Go, Darkinu!" Rosana cried, releasing her Pokemon.
"Leafy Darkinu. These Pokemon are friendly towards Icy Darkinu, who do not like them much, while they hate Firey Darkinu, which are friendly towards them. These Darkinu are said to be outcasts and are very rare, since most are killed by their sibilings at a young age." Fleur's Pokedex said loudly.

"If you beat Florana, you get a Leafy Darkinu, badge and other neat stuff." Rosana said, pointing to her Pokemon "It's the trademark Pokemon of this gym, most gym trainers have one."

[Agent Orange]

"But I wonder....why did it appear to me?"

"And what other pokemon?

Lucky expected herself to fell happy having almost beat a wild Pokemon, but she actually felt bad for the little dragon.

“Well if catching you would take you out of your misery, than that’s exactly what I plan on doing. Well, that’s what I was planning on doing all along, but now I have an even better reason for doing so.”

She smiled and threw one of her 5 Poke Balls at the weak dragon and prayed for it to keep shut.

"It was probbly just wandering..." The woman said, searching through her pile of books and taking a book out.
"This book was written 10 years ago by a trainer who claims to have explored through a mystical land. He described and drew many Pokemon, one of which was Racutei. He also drew Akat and Sorne. They say he explored through this country... Here are some other Pokemon he saw."

She flipped through the pages and showed the two the page.
