I found XD to be more fun personally. Probably because it was a lot easier to purify all the Pokemon and get through the game with the Purification Chamber.

I liked XD much better... cooler storyline, easier purification, shadow lugia was secksay.

Meh, I've only got Colloseum, but XD looks stupid aside from Shadow Lugia. Plus, Wes pwns the hero of the other game.

i liked your opinions,but i would just like to add a few things
A.shadow Lugia was easy to purify,but it took me quite a long while to get to the top of Citadark isle.
B.it's very hard to get Ho-oh.first you have to purify all 48 shadow pokemon.then you have to beat all 100 of mt. battle.
boy that was long.

well colloseum bc you can get a flute that automaticaly clears a pokemon out of shadowness..

It takes forever to purify lugia on xd

I was totally hooked on Colosseum when I first rented it (I went out and bought it that day, and returned my rented copy). It was really original and it was great to see my favorite Pokemon in 3D. For a good long time, the PC Mount Battle was my preferred method of team training.

I was stoked to get XD (got it the day it came out, in fact). I don't know if it was because I felt like I was playing the exact same game, or because it started kinda slow, but it just wasn't the same. The magic was gone. It was still a pretty good game, but I could not rank it with PC.

One more vote for Colosseum.

pokemon XD gale of darkness pwns in graphics, sound, story,has better multiplayer than Colosseum, but Colosseum has it's own perks almost dieing,being an evil villan turned to good, and the first 3-d pokemon rpg.

but I liked gale of darkness better ; so that gets a vote (most of you who are voting for Colosseum haven't even experienced it! :tongue:

I vote Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness over Collosseum. The boy trainer in XD is cuter and doesn't have a follower all the time. I liked the intro a lot better and being able to go to more places and being able catch wild pokemon. The pokemon that you are able to Snag are a lot better. Miror B. doesn't look as bad as he did in Collosseum and there's better music. Shadow Lugia is awesome. :D With Collosseum I got bored. I still play XD since Christmas. (I found it last week) I liked choosing my starter...I got Vaporeon.

xd. definitely xd.
you get more pokemon,the purifying is easier,slugia is very powerful there are more shadow moves, shadow pokemon are more powerful than they were in coloseum(because their shadow moves were super effective against normal pmn) you dont have to beat an extremely tough trainer to purify pkmn(unless you count myth trainer eagun but shadow moves will do him in easily).
the only downsides are you dont get ho-oh,and the choice between eeveelutions are mind-boggling.

I actually dislike both Colloseum and XD Gale of Darkness because there are no minigames or rentals with crazy attacks:cry: My favorite is Stadium 2. If I must choose, I'll pick XD:tongue:

Pokemon XD. Much better graphics and animations, more pokemon, a chance to make an actually decent In-Game team, AND BATTLE MOUNTAIN IS ACTUALLY WORTH PLAYING.

XD outclasses Colosseum. And I mean completely. I didn't like Colosseum that much.

XD: Gale of Darkness. It has better everything plus it has wild Pokemon. I'm not a fan of Lugia, but that's a minor point.

However, I do think that they should of used an older main character like they did in 'Colosseum'. And speaking of 'Stadium', I really enjoyed 'Stadium 2'. I hope 'Pokemon Battle Revolution' will have the good parts of 'Stadium 2' (good mini-games, rental Pokemon with funky moves, the library, and Challenge Mode where you battle with a party of randomly selected Pokemon).

I don't like either of them. I'm addicted to catching them all.

Colosseum has a limited number of Poke's and almost all of them are evolved forms. When they are cured of the shadow condition, they are at high levels and don't learn good moves. You can't catch 'em all, only 30 of them.

I like the fact that you can see your RUBY / SAPPHIRE team in 3D, but that is it's only saving grace. XD is the same way. I had Colosseum. Never had XD. Got rid of Colosseum. Didn't like it. Not enough good points to make want to keep it.

As far as which was better, Colosseum was better.
