Pokemon Quiz problem :/

Ok i was watching pokemon advance battle this morning and there was a quiz.

Q:Which pokemon would last longest against a Psychic type?

You could choose from the following:
-Tediursa
-Poochyena
-(some other pokemon, i forgot)

anyway, the last one didn't have anything to do with it.

after the show cam eback on is said that Teddiursa was right.

What i want to know is, How could Teddiursa last longer than a Poochyena when Poochyena is a dark type and Psychis types have no effect on Dark types!

Please Explain?

Well who would actually last LONGEST against a Psychic type meaning who would actually take damage little by little and withstand it longest. Poochyena would probably be unfair since it takes NO damage what so ever.

So what if Poochyena can stand up to a few Tackles or Quick Attacks(whatever isn't a Psychic move for that Psychic Pokemon sap) Teddiursa has better stats.

As far as I know, Poochyena's base stats are either 35s or 30s without concerning about its Attack Power at 55.

Teddiursa has more Hit Points, Attack, Defense, Speed, Special Attack, and Special Defense. Teddiursa's base Sp. Def and Def can make it last longer than Poochyena by taking less damage.

HP - 35
Atk - 55
Def - 35
Sp. Atk - 30
Sp. Def - 30
Sped - 35

Teddy
HP - 60
Atk - 80
Def - 50
Sp. Atk - 50
Sp. Def - 50
Sped - 40

Teddiursa's Def, Sp. Atk, and Sp. Def might be a number lower than Poochyena's Atk, but with 80 Atk and the stats that are lower than Poochyena's Atk are higher than the stats on Poochyena, I wouldn't say much.

However, Poochyena is still a good Pokemon but I'm not saying it would be very fair against a Psychic type.

I thought only Mightyena was a Dark Type, that or my game is messed. x_x

No poochyena is a dark type and mightyena is also a dark type so no it's not a normal type.

But remember that stats don't exist in the anime world.

Also recall that the dub has had this problem before. Its probably just a mistake by the dubbers, who couldn't care less about pokemon.
