need help with sunstone

You get them from Solrock, Lunatone gives moon stones.

Solrock sometiems carries it - use the move Thief on it to steal the item if it happens to be holding it.
If he has FireRed or LeafGreen he can go to one of the Sevii islands in those games and find one, then trade it over. Sun Stones are perhaps the hardest stone to come across...

Wild Solrock - 5% chance of it holding a Sun Stone.
Wild Lunatone - 5% Chance of it holding a Moon Stone.

what does the sun stone do

evolves certain pokemon.
Better not try it on a solrock, it's very rare.
I think somewhere in the game you find a sunstone hidden in a rock or something. Not a big help, but just to tell you it won't be hard to come across.

you find it in the mosdeep space center talk to everyone to get it you can evolve it on gloom to bellosom or to evolve sunkern to sunflora

You find it at Mossdeep City. In the space centre. Talk to the man near the entrance and he gives it to you. Sun stone evolves certain pokemon like:

Gloom and Sunkurn.
