Latios Help

I know how to find him and all but I need help on making him stay in the battle longer,because I hate having to find him over and over when he runs away right after I attack him.I thought there was an item that stops fleeing but maybe I'm wrong? Please any help would be appreciated.

I you don't want him to run away use the move mean look (Golbat and sableye can learn it. And others)
Or you can use a wobuffet or wynaut becouse they have the ability shadow tag wich prevents the foe from escaping.

I tryed with my wynaut it's level 33,but can barely hurt a level 18 pokemon.And none of my pokemon know mean look,and I don't have a tm.

Before encountering him save it just in case you kill it. Have a lv 40 Wobaffet( I forget his name) send it to battle and use Magic Coat. If u don't fail it will take his life to orange then keep using Ultra balls . Make sure you have potions to revive wobaffet when weak. That is how I caught mines just today!:cool:

No I don't,I forgot if I used it or if I didn't get it.


I'll try and get my Wobbuffet or Wynaut to Level 40,most likely Wynaut though.(My wobbuffet is level 27 :P)

Arena Trap won't work on any Pokemon with the ability Levitate (which is what the Lati's have).

Well i did it with my crobat and he is lvl 69 i used mean look but here is a tip give the pokémon you will use quik claw in case lathias/lathios is quiker then your pokémon.The sleeppowder techniek is nice and i tryed that the first time but it woke up after 5 turns and fled so i say use mean look or your wynaut or wobeffet or something

trade a wobbefet from firered or leaf green they can be found in the 50s in mewtwos cave thats how i coght mine

Alright, there's an item called "FLUFFY TAIL" that ASSURES fleeing.

Anyways, maybe have a Pokemon with high speed and has a move that can put Latios to sleep. I forgot where I found my Master Ball, I think it was in Team Magma or Aqua's hideout.
I don't think you can get another one unless a very generous friend of yours make one of his/her Pokemon and trade it to you.
