View Full Version : Odd One Out

Channel Delibird
05-21-2004, 12:46 PM
Very simple game - I'll name four Pokemon and you have to tell me which one is the odd one out. There will be Basic questions, worth 1 point for the first person to guess correctly, Stage 1 questions, worth 2 points, and Stage 2 questions, worth 3. We'll keep a running scoreboard over time so we can tell who's the best! ^^; I will give a hint each question by saying if I am referring to: Pokemon R/B/Y, Pokemon G/S/C, Pokemon R/S, Pokemon FR/LG or other Pokemon games.

The first question is a Stage 1, and I am talking about Pokemon Crystal.

Who is the odd one out from:
Rhydon, Sentret, Zubat and Exeggutor?

Ierdar
05-21-2004, 12:52 PM
I'll just take a guess at appearence, and say Zubat because it has wings. =\ =P

Channel Delibird
05-21-2004, 12:59 PM
Nah, that would have been a Basic question. =P Good, but not what I'm looking for. Zubat has wings in ALL Pokemon games, and this question is exclusive to Pokemon Crystal.

Mudkip6

executor because it's the only evolution.

Channel Delibird
05-21-2004, 01:24 PM
No, Rhydon's an evolution too. Try again.

Ierdar
05-21-2004, 01:26 PM
Again, I'll go with Zubat, (and I know I'm probably wrong) but it has three stages in all, the others only have two. O_o

Channel Delibird
05-21-2004, 01:41 PM
Hmm.....maybe I should make this a stage 2 instead. yes, I think I will. Now you'll get 3 points for the correct answer.

And no, because Zubat has 3 stages in all games since Gold and Silver.

Mudkip6
05-21-2004, 01:43 PM
When these pokemon appear they move in a vertical motion except Rhydon who spins his horn.

Channel Delibird
05-21-2004, 01:49 PM
O.O Whoa, nice one...but even if it is true, it's not the answer that'll get you the 3 points. Good try though.

Mudkip6

Sentret because it's the only one who is not strong or weak against electricity.

Japoro

Can it be Exeggutor because its the only pokemon with name that begins with a vowel

Ruben

My first geuss is Rhydon, since he is the only one that can't do that irritating attack, i forgot the name, but it sometimes causes confusion, i hate it.

Good answer....but it's wrong! XD Sentret was first seen in Gold and Silver. Crystal is after that, so not quite there. Good one...someone has to get there in the end. :tongue3:

I could give you a hint, but it would mean the question would only be worth 2 points again.

I say sentret again becasue
crystal is spelled with 7 letters... just like Sentret

Tamer Marco

I think it's sentret because it doesn't have an actual type. Rhydon Executor (SP?) and Zubat all have a special type while Sentret is just... normal.
