in pokemon firered and leafgreen, if you go to the pokemon mansion and read one of the diary entries, it says some date in 1998, then it says, "Mew gave birth." does that mean mew is mewtwo's father? is lucario mewtwo's father? is mewtwo really a clone? :rolleyes: :happy: :smile: :wink: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

Now, the stories are a bit muddled. One theory is that Team Rocket cloned Mew, another is that Mewtwo was born out in the jungle from Mew.

Remember the different types of cloning covered in the WAR debate.. Mew, in the games, gave birth to its clone which was created by Blaine. In the Anime, Mewtwo was still cloned but in a different way, by Team Rocket.

And in the Manga, blaine was a member of Team Rocket(cause dey had da pwnzorz tech) and created Mewtwo in a giant test tube, by combining his own DNA with Mews. One day, when he was happily pumping his own DNA into mewtwo, the cell flow reversed, leaving some of Mewtwos DNA in Blaine.

Later on, Blaine became a good guy, and was awesome,... oh and Mewtwo broke out of the lab in Celadon(yeah the lab was in Celadon), and went to Cerulean where it terrorized people. So Red came with Bill, and Red Caught Mewtwo, and Blaine took Mewtwo, becuase they are like conected psychicly.

And Blaine used Mewtwo against the Elite4 when they tried to Summon Lugia to destroy the Planet. But something knocked Baline unconscious, and due to their link, Mewtwo couldn't do crap. But in the end, Yellow(who everyone thought was boy, because Blue(in Japan, in the US it was dubbed Green) is a retard) saved everyone, and Blaine went on his merry way.

Then, later Entei chose to be Blaines partner, and Baline used its helaing flames to destory Mewtwos celss in his body, so their link was broken, and they didn't have to be connected so they could do things without the other one being consous now.

And Mewtwo wasn't seen again, until Red met him on Seven Island, and he helped Red break into the Trianer Tower(which Tema Rocket Controlled) and then he got caught in a suit that kept him form fighting, but a combination of Blast burn, Frenzy Plant, and Hydro Cannon broke it.

Then he went with Red to fight Giovanni(who has Deoxys), and currently is getting his butt whupped.

Giovanni had control over a Deoxys and Entei and Blaine partnered up for a bit of time. The manga for Pokemon basically is that each chapter has at least 1 Pokemon battle. They're titled VS (what Pokemon). Red is Ash, Blue is the girl in FR/LG, and Green is Gary. In G/S/C, Red was the final opponent in Mt. Silver and was Ash, but Blue however was Gary and the Gym Leader of Viridian Gym, ufu.

Ok Mew is basically the creater of all pokemon... It is said all pokemon descended from Mew! Hence Mewtwo can trasform itself to any Pokemon and learn any attacks! So Yeah Mew did give Birth! Birth to all pokemon Life!
