Personally, I think they should make it more Manga-style, maybe more old/mature. If not that, maybe make it so that every episode makes sense and is a piece of a puzzle. Make sense?

Changing the voices was unpreventable. Because 4Kids has the actors completely locked up in their contracts (A bunch of legal crap I don't want to explain to someone who won't even read it), Nintendo cannot use the original voice actors of the show.

Nintendo also intends to make the dub BETTER. I for one, am going to watch Pokemon again once the new dub comes out. They're leaving in all the BG music, making the lines as close to the Jpn version as possible, and they're not going to kill the culture refrences.

Also, you have no idea what the actors sound like. The actors were shuffled around after MMoMP, several were fired, a few new ones were hired, and all of the new actors are now into their role and can act as their character much better than they could Pre-MMoMP. Plus, MMoMP is being redubbed and put in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew DVD, so we'll get a preview before the show restarts on Miguzi.

First I'd like to say I don't really think anyone is hot it's a cartoon and I enjoy it as just that cartoon and pokemon fan.

People who go she's hot, get a girlfriend please. Mean it politely as possible

Any way back to issue I agree with couple of folks it being more manga is good idea and getting a new trainer would breath new life to us old school fans as we've been with pokemon
since day dot. But think about pokemon actually caters to new generation of kids getting into it every year or so kids are getting into it and that’s what kept it going more so.

Cause if only us old school guys were fan base then would go like futurama, so they must think to cater for young groups and for them pickachu is cool ash is ash and has to be as new kids can relate. As old pokemon episodes and toys to ash and changing ash or getting new pokemon to change pickachu would change dynamic of pokemon.

A transition needs to occur and if its does ash still needs to be their every couple of episodes or not as lead character becomes a brook type as ash and pickachu started it you can't just change them unless changing character pays off.

But ultimately poke'mon biggest audience is Japan and that they have pokemon parks run all year round and 747 with poke'mon on them. It lies with Japanese public and audience. But till we get pokemon parks then maybe would be a pulling fact as pokemon is now worldwide and main demographic comes first.

Maybe two pokemon series running same time one for serious old school get new character and new pokemon and continuing ash on his journey in one. Maybe the episodes meet once in a while.

Will come back to thread but some food for thought and ideas, taking in other factors.

But personally would like freakin pickashu to evolve already, and a more manga fell would be cool but not happening anytime soon unless Japan audience want that and this pulls a profit, but two series running same time maybe some at pokemon see’s this and take my idea ( wouldn’t be surprised as some pokemon guys in Japan scour net for ideas and feedback to see what pokefans want this is real no joke, like toy companies seek kids thoughts):biggrin:
