Alright, as all of you know (or should know), you can get more than just Mew with that glitch. Since I have used this forum and this site a lot in order to find things with my Pokemon Red/Blue, I've decided that I should finally make a forum name and help out with my own input. I decided that charting out which trainers = which pokemon would help a bit. So, this is what I have so far, I will edit as I get more.

For those of you that don't know how to do the glitch itself, here is a link to it:

*NOTE: I could not get every trainer on Route 25 because you have to battle some of them to get to Bill and get Cut. Also, this was on my RED version, it could be different on BLUE.

*NOTE: All Pokemon are Level 7, and I did not battle them to see which moves they have.

**As with most glitches, this may alter your game. I.e., in my game the Snorlax east of Vermillion City disappeared...

Also, it has come to my attention that their may be another way to get Mew, earlier in the game. It is much like this glitch, but you use a different trainer and you don't need fly. Remember, a friend told me this and I have not done it, so I can't vouch for it. If anyone wants to confirm it, it would be great, for I will be out this entire weekend. Anyways, here goes:

Prior to the Glitch the following criteria must be met:
1.) You can't battle the trainer north of Cerulean City (the one that spells "feet" wrong).
2.) You can't battle the normal trainer that gets you Mew in the other glitch.
3.) The Pokemon Center in Cerulean must be the last one you visited.

Ok, now for the glitch itself. If you already have an Abra, start at Step 3, otherwise go from the beginning.
1.) Go to the grass North of Cerulean (where the trainer is that spells "feet" wrong). Avoid fighting that trainer, but go in the grass to get an Abra.
2.) Put Abra in your party if he is not already.
3.) Go to the trainer that you just avoided and TELEPORT from him right before you fight him, just like the other glitch, but with TELEPORT instead of FLY.
4.) You should appear in front of the Pokemon Center in Cerulean.
5.) Go North past the Nugget Bridge trainers and fight the Trainer that you usually fight to get Mew.
6.) TELEPORT back to Cerulean Pokemon Center.
7.) Go North to Nugget Bridge and the menu should pop up.
8.) Exit the Menu and catch Mew.

How helpful!
I'm sure this stuff is located on other sites, so a link to it would be best... As if you're actually trying to help. That's rare :eh:.

Keep going, maybe we can get that slipped in the Missingno. Thread.

I'm not sure that this is allowed on this forum, but I've decided to bump this thread. I've added a lot of info since the first few replies and I figure a lot of people are interested in this. I'm also going to take a break from this having done most of the trainers I can think of. If you can think of any, leave a reply and I'll get around to them eventually. For now I'm going to fool around with other glitches on my Red.

As long as you don't double post and the thread isn't more than a month old you sure can bump your thread. Also, you say you can get Missingno, but do you know if you can get M' as well???

I have not encountered an M' yet, but the MissingNo. does duplicate your 6th item like the M' would. As of now I'm testing which special = which Pokemon, so if I encounter an M' I'll keep you in touch.
