Hey.
I just rebought this game today, and I'm deciding on my team before I begin the game.
I want my team to include the three "regi" pokémon.
I see in the pokédex that regice is on route 105, but It says you have to "do a braille" puzzle.
Can anyone provide anymore information on regice's whereabouts, and what's required to get him.

Also, what level should I be before I face him?

On another note, I want a balanced party. If I include the Ice, Steel and Rock type Regis, what other elements should I use?

Thanks again.

Well, first, I'd suggest you use something in place of Registeel, the other two Regis are better than him. Because he has under average stats in both attack types, unlike his brothers, and lower overall defenses.

Well first, have you done the underwater cave thing with Wailord and Relicanth?
And also, which game version do you have?

I have ruby, and like I said I haven't started yet.
Well, I have, but very early on.

Also, I just read up on how to get them, so I have no troubles there,
what I really need to know is what other elements of pokémon I should use
with those three to create a balanced team.

(I don't really care if he's weak, I wanted the three for their coolness, and he's the coolest one. =P)

Okay, that'd give you 3 tanks, I'd suggest sweepers for at least 2 of the other three.

Regice would have a big weakness to Rock, Steel, and Fighting, two of which Regirock can take care of with Earthquake
I'd suggest something that could kill a Fighting type easily, like Alakazam.
And Regirock has poor defense against Grass and Water, one of which Regice can beat
Since Zam has Thunderpunch in most movesets, that would be fine, but if this is Ruby ingame, I think you should get a good Grass type, maybe Sceptile.

Last slot, get a good Physical sweeper like Metagross.

Note that I am much worse at building teams than half the other active members. I'm just trying my best to help.

Tanks?
Sweepers?

Can someone break all this stuff down and explain the basics of good team making?
I don't get all this techniqual stuff. =-\

Anyone care to explain?

I don't get much of the sweeper thing, but i do just fine . if you find the sweeper thing hard, then just go with a balanced team and by balanced i mean balanced levels and no repeating types in a team. ta ta

Alright, just read through the topic.

So, Regice would be a special attack tank(special DEF 200), Regirock would be a
attack tank(DEF 200) and Registeel would be a balanced tank, because he has
special DEF and DEF of 150. Would that be right?

Also, what other types would be good with those three?
I was thinking of an opener, a shuffler and a sweeper.
Any good ideas of pokémon of those three roles?

I was thinking, what about cursers? Are they nessicary with shufflers?

I am just copying this out of a guide book but it says once inside the island cave you'll need to run (you must run not walk) around the room's perimeter to open the secret door to the inner chamber. You'll confront the rare regice in thr next. I suggest saving when you get in.

As far as the location just go to the dock where Mr.Briney is and just surf south and eventually you will get there.

Did you even READ the rest of this topic, or are you trying to just bump your post count.
