Wailord Affection.

Haha, this is kinda funny. I have a Wailord on my Sapphire version, and then I traded it to my Emerald version. I had fun with it, leveled it up pretty high, and then I got tired of it and I needed the space so I tried to release it only to find that I couldn't. It had grown so attached to me or somthing, it said like it would go away, then come right back. I'm sensing some Bayleaf deja vu. Does anybody else have this problem, and is there anyway to get rid of it?

That's weird. You can't release it? I have a Pokemon like that. It's usually my starters. I become really attached to them, and level them up to 100 usually. Also, I just use my starter to sweep through everything. I'm not a fan of catching a lot of types, and leveling them all up. I'm too lazy.
