Ok, I have a few questions, points, suggestions but I don't know where to put them.

1) Refs
Since they don't seem to be very active, where do I go to test as one? :D

2) Reffing Forumla
- I read the "perfect reffing forumla" thread and wondered, there were 3 forumlas, each requiring the mod to actually do physical calculations and stuff, right? Why don't you guys just make the damage part calculated via a damage calculator already available? For example

http://pokedex.kary.ca/pokestat.zip

(contains readme and actual calculator) is a Spreadsheet made for MICROSOFT EXCEL that calculates damage for ALL the versions (including the discrepencies between version formulas, for example, RBY formula isn't quite the same as GSC), so you just plug in the atk, def, power, etc and the MAX HP of the defender, and it gives you the DAMAGE DONE, and the % HP DAMAGE to the defender. (Essentially, makes reffing easier, as you'd just have to say "___ has % HP remaining")

As well, for those without Excel, there are other calculators out there, I'll do a search for them if necessary (but the one above is by far the best, IMHO *nod*).

Edit (Clarification): In case the point wasn't quite clear, my point is to instead of using that whole new damage formula, just use the formula for the respective series (GSC, RBY, RS) in each type of battle, and therefore while you are waiting for the battle program made by Dark Absol, you can also use the alternative, which is the damage calculator. It's a lot easier than punching in numbers to calculators, which means refs will be more willing to ref.

Edit 2 (additional information)
For those without Excel

GSC Calculator: http://mleo2003.tripod.com/research/programs.htm
Requires NO downloads, choose the pokemon, attack, and additional effect if applicable, and calculate. wow.
- Be back later with links for RS and RBY style calculators.

Edit:
3) I wish I had a battle done sometime soon. <_<

Thanks for reading

wow, i've been looking for that website for the Pokecalc for the longest time. i do have that download and let me tell ya, it works wonders. the downside to that calculator is tha lack of R/S and a few mistakes that aren't very important. if i would have known the website address, i would have posted it for other refs to download, but now we have it.
makes reffing a lot easier. nice job mlugia!

Well, the spreadsheet download does include damage calcs for RBY, GSC AND RS at the same time, making it efficient to switch between versions.
