Planning My Next Team...

I'm planning my next team for Emerald. I started a new game and so far I'm training my Pokemon in Dewford Town. Here's my lineup so far:

Grovyle
LV. 18
Quick Attack, Absorb, Leer, Tail Whip

Marill
LV. 13
Water Gun, Tackle, Growl, Defense Curl

Sableye
LV. 12
Flash, Night Shade, Scratch, Growl

Taillow:
LV. 15
Steel Wing, Growl, Peck, Focus Energy

I know that picking Treecko wasn't the best for in-game, but I want to see how it will go. And yes, I need to train them if I want to face Brawly. So, give me suggestions!

I have all thos same pokemon with the same moves.The natures might not be the same,but the main pokemon are.

I know this is going to be moved but you could probably defeat Brawly with your Taillow... Wing Attack = Death to fighting types.

Hm, how about Steel Wing? But I'll level it up more so I can get Taillow to learn it.

I used my level 15 Taillow on him and he could barely breathe before his Poke's hit the floor. This is my reasoning for not liking Makuhita/Hariyama. They fail against flyers... I have Brawly to thank for my mindset on this (Sounds strange, but it's a psychological thing. At least Bruno in the Elit Four had Onix's to break the illusion).

Lol, I always start a new game as soon as I have all the Frontier Symbols.

I have all the games for GBA except Fire Red (Which is on it's way. Ordered it today being as I can't find it in any shops!). I use one for Breeding (LG), one for keeping and trading Poke's to (Ruby) and one for restarting (Saphire). Emerald I just started, so I don't know what that will be used for yet. I'm hoping the team in my post will be okay at End Game.

train a Geodude, or Aron.

Personally, I would go for the Geodude, plus make sure it has the Rock-Head ability so you can teach it Double-Edge without receiving any recoil damage. Geodude (or any of it's evolutions) would be a great advantage when taking on Winona.

ground types can easily kick electric type's asses, so follow bathedinblue's advice, catch a geodude (rock/ground type), they r in the granite cave

Tsk, that gonna be hard cuz I'm struggling training my team and then I have to get a weak Geodude and train it 10 levels at least. Sigh, I'll just do it anyway.

get all your guys to thirty(if you want to make it easier for yourself) THEN fight wattson after you catch and train geodude

Electric is NVE against Grass, so use Grovyle for everything except Magneton. For Magneton, use Sableye and Night Shade, which is not affected by typing and defense. =) good luck!

im with D-man i trained a geodude and it was a good choice at beating wattson all i used was magnitude 10 times and battered all his stupid shoking pokemon muahahahahaha
