man i cant wait for the game, i hope that theyll let you pic a stater, like they can have like 4 sets and you pic one and each are grass, fire and water and theyll be a random kanto, johto, hoenn and shinou starters, and one you pic a set and starter, the other two that was on the set get caught by chipher and there sould be like 100 pokemon in it 50 wild and 50 shadows and 4 gyms so like if yea neen to go to a city that has a chipher lab or somthing youll need to get a gym badge to get further :crackup:

I don't think Battle Revolution is going to be like XD. It's more of a Stadium, but I don't know much about it yet, so it could be a mix of both.

well the shadow pokemon are pritty unique and to me is a console game thing, i dont relly mind them as long as there easy to purify and the story and lenght in the game is long and good and also more wild pokemon and gyms cause its kinda stupid to not have them in a pokemon game

Though I won't be playing this game (I've sworn off video games), I really do hope they include a Pokemon Library like in 'Pokemon Stadium 2'. The Library was one of my favorite parts of 'PS2'. Also, I hope they include prize Pokemon for accomplishing parts of the game (and these prize Pokemon should have atleast one unique move - a real useful move).

That would be cool, or as i thought before at the start of the game someone asks you a question such as "where are you from" and it gives you the choice of kanto, johto, hoenn and shinou. Whatever you choose is the set of starters you get too choose from... (kinda like the way in emerald how you get asked about the colour of the bird...)

3D battles, new region in the adventure part of the game... rental pokemon, mini games etc for outside of story mode. If they did do that, it would be one of the best pokemon games ever.

Possibly since Gamecube controllers can be plugged into the Wii. You can transfer those pokemon to diamond and pearl and then trade them to Wii anyway. I hope there is a large amount of capturable pokemon this time around and maybe add a pokemon you can only get in it, you know one completely brand new.

I like collecting all 493 of them on the DS, raising them up to Lv: 100 on the DS, and battling them in 3D against computer opponents, gym leaders, and linked up with friends. I also want to fight my Poke's in 3D with an option for online network battles. I also want to play Diamond and Pearl on my TV.

"Pokémon Battle Revolution" says nothing. If anything sounds like a Stadium sequel with no RPG, it's "Pokémon Colosseum", but look what it turned out to be.

We have very little information about the game in general - we have two videos and two or three screenshots of the D/P starters, and that's it. Nobody says we'd necessarily have images of the main characters of the RPG if we have almost nothing at all.

I'm not saying it will be an RPG. I'm just saying we still don't know.

...Oh, no, God, no. The day Pokémon goes real-time is the day Pokémon dies.

The entire battle system is about complex strategy, and that's all gone in one nice big WOOSH as soon as it goes real-time. Fact.

I hated it in colloseum and XD that you couldnt use rental pokemon for battling with friends... you have to actually have your own pokemon game and connect with the team you had in story mode.

i sent an email to nintendo saying how much i HATED colo and xd and how i was hoping they would be more like stadium, i also said that they would sell sooooooo many more copies if they combined the battle freedom of stadium with the story line from the hand held's

a bout 2 weeks after this i was browzing on the nintendo pokemon forum and i found a thread saying that pokemon battle revolution was in the makeing

it also said that pokemon battle revolution was going to be like stadium were you had battles that let you chose any of the existing pokemon to battle with

i couldn't beleve it, everything that was in this description was what i had sent to nintendo in the email, and its all thank to my fit english teacher who said that its always good to sent letters of complaint to people when youre dissapointed with something that they have produced

i think that nintendo actualy read my email and descided that i was right about the things i put in the email

i am realy pleased with nintendo for doing that and i hope that revolution will be the best pokemon console game EVER :biggrin:

The best thing about Battle Revolution is that they've got "Custom Character Mode"! Everyone on Serebii.net's forums were talking about that for a really long time, I was one of them! I can't believe they actually made it, though, and in 3D! I'm so excited about that! Now all I need is the money for a D/S, Pearl, Battle Revolution, and a Wii. Oh well, if I don't get it, I'll just play my friend's!

Course i loved the Stadium games, but the mini games got old after a while.

Sure hope you can use rental mon like in the Stadiums instead of having to transfer over DP mon. It'll be easier than Colo/XD for transfer since the DS has built-in WiFi, but you'll still have to train them. A cool idea would be a Stadium-Based story, where you get a starter and train at stadiums and coloseums, and unlock more mon as you go, instead of in the wild or having a story.

ANyway I don't know about some people but I would have still liked some kind of adventure mode even if it was shadow. A storyline makes the game last longer and is more enjoyable, but I am not totally against the stadium like style since that was fun as well when I was a kid. MAybe next game we could incorporate both?

Well, you can transfer them to your Diamond/Pearl version first,

Yeah, mostly. Some firing attacks, like flamethrower still appear to come out of nowhere. But punches, scratches, kicks, and a few firing attacks hit physically. Like hyper beam. It even leaves a trail of destruction in its path!

I must say this game brings some good and bad things to the table. The good is that the graphics are good, the stadium mechanics are back and Wi-fi is an excellent bonus. The bad news is that the Story mode was ditched which with shadow pokemon or not was still alot of fun. So far my feelings are mixed on this game and I will have to try it out for myself to see how good it is.

I do have teams planned out. To be honest though, I don't know if the team I put in my signature can win yet. I also created a team based on Pokemon strictly from D/P too, but I don't know if they'll win either. I won't know until they are put into Battle Revolution. I was joking about "promises, promises" thing. I'm just boasting an attitude.

I do believe my teams will win in D/P. My teams have always won in the Game Boys. I just don't know if Battle Revolution will have some nasty surprises to keep me on the ropes.

Also I don't know if battling my teams online and against my friends will guarantee me a win.

I'll be using the team I always use in my Sapphire version, via transferring them to Pearl and then registering them into Battle Revolution. Luckily enough for me, all of my Pokemon's moveset types, like changing from ATTACK to SPECIAL ATTACK or vice-versa, doesn't change a bit, so I won't need to change my strategy. Plus, even if I didn't EV train them, All y'all gonna succumb to their super power... MWA HA HA HA HA!! FEAR THE POWER OF WATER!! :goofy:
