Where do you keep your secret bases?

one thing I have always wondered is where people actually put there in emarald. I like it on Route 114. (I think):eh: :happy:

Well, I never really bothered; anyway, most cool locations are too small or too cramped to make a cool layout, and apart from making your friends visit them, there isn`t anything else to do there - you can`t rest, you can`t access your PC... or am I missing something? :confused:

You make one. In holes, bushes, indents. You need the TM30 (Secret Power) for it. Teach it to a pokemon.

My secret base is always on route 114, in the tree on the island. Either that one or in the rock wall in that place were you find the blackglasses.

I like mine at Route 127, near the ocean. I like mixing records and my friends can't find my base and challenge me.

I like route 114, but i also like those on 119. I used to have one there.

I don't make secret bases any more. The only useful thing of them is mixing records and I don't have a link cable.

In Sapphire, mine's in the tree on Route 110 on the little island with the sign saying "Team Aqua Rulez!". In Ruby it's in a bush south of Fortree City. I didn't bother making one on Emerald.

Mine in Ruby is on Route 114 on the left-side of the tree, far out from all my friend's bases. In Emerald it's at the very top of Route 119, where you need Waterfall and the Acro Bike to reach.

Secret Bases are infinitely useful to those who are trying to EV train. Take for instance someone trying to EV train in Sp. Atk. Instead of just hunting down Spindas for 2 EVs in Sp. Atk. every fight, a person could fight six lv. 10 Beautiflies for 6 Sp. Atk. each (With the Macho Brace of course). And the best part is, you can multiply your friends' secret bases (Mix records with different base positions, such all the caves on Route 112), giving you a very quick way to EV train stuff, provided your friends have EV-specific training teams on them.

i put mine near mauviile where gaby and ty are.i got scared because groudon was so close to my base.my freinds base is near where you get it.:crackup:

I always put mine near fortree city becuase it's easy to return too by flying to fortree city and it is right outside.

When I was playing Ruby I went crazy collecting every single decoration - dolls, furniture, posters. But now playing Emerald, I don't even bother. It has already been confirmed that there are going to be secret bases on Diamond and Pearl, I just really hope they are more interactive (i.e. Being able to rest your Pokemon, access your PC or let your Pokemon walk around :oops: )

On the 'Team Aqua Rulez', one, you can buy things at Lilycove City on the department sale, top floor. No roof, like slides, TV, glass. And the cracks in bases, you can buy floor boards to walk though. :happy:

I forgot the name of the area, but the place south of Mauville. You have to Surf, then there's this huge tree in the middle. That's where mine's at.

I like that one too,

me and my brother thought it would be fun to make a secret base and not tell the other were it is. We then went to the same pokemon centre and mixed records, we had a race to find the other persons base, it was actually quite funny. I ended up winning of course *smug*

I keep mine around the left side of Fallarbor Town, the one you have to surf to get to.
