It wasn't so bad, but I guess so much of how you like a subject depends on the one who teaches it.

It depends what kind of history really, but for the most part yes. I liked history when I was in school.

I don't absolutely hate History, but if I had a choice I definately wouldn't take it. ><;; I'm not very good in it -- I have a B- now, which isn't great for me. The only good thing about it is that our teacher is nice and occasionally funny.

I love history, I'm a history major as a matter of fact. gogo history

those who don't learn from the past are doomed to repeat it

History is my major too. History is like the greatest book ever written that can't be made up and is always interesting.

Finglonger- What specific area of history are you thinking of majoring in?

Well, it depends what they're teaching at the time. :|

If it's stuff like war, then I'll like it. >:D

Not much, but the woman teaching it is an evil behemoth who's very soul is wrapped in a layer of impenetrable fat.

Yep. history is easy. But uman geogrpahy is hard. HG invovles more analyizing. 1 thing i hate the most is it's inaccuracies.

History is my tied as my favorite subject in all of school with band. I just like to see all the things that happened in our human past that caused what is now and such. If anything can be said negatively about history, it's that it shows us some qualities in people that we don't seem to have anymore but should (such as big, awe-inspiring leaders. Can anyone say there's another Woodrow Wilson-esque president running around, or that the country of the U.S. would be as willing to sacrifice as they did in WWII for the troops in terms of resources that they didn't use?).

Of course, reversely it can also show us qualities we've thankfully given up, at least to a large part.

Well, I guess it's okay.

Studying war is better than an Algebra Quiz.

Besides, having a vast knowledge of history helps in debates. Very, very much.

Yell at me if you want, but no, I hate history. It's not my worst subject, but if you ask me, it's one of the most boring. At least with the history I'm taking.

How do you hate history? You can only hate what happen in history but every action that ever happened is the cause of Most if not all problems of the world.

Hunger and poorness in Africa. Colonialism that Most of Europe did.
Palestine and Israel caused mainly after Partions by UN Post WWII
Cause of Holocaust-> Hitler was allowed such deeds and WWI
Cause of WWII-> Treaty of Versailles and treatment of German
Treaty of Versailles-> Blamed Germany for war when it really should be the alliance
Cause of WWI-> People too edgy and one snowball that turned into a Avalanche

Fall of Hitler-> Did not learn from Napoleon Invasion of Russia and did the same thing as him
Napoleon invasion of Russia-> attacked country side and Russian soldiers burned country side. When Nap reached Capital it was too cold for Nap army because not right clothing

No because the past is a newb.
Then tell us how you exist

It wasn't so bad, but I guess so much of how you like a subject depends on the one who teaches it.
And the will to go beyond dull instruction.

I only like history when they blow something up.
Go read a war archive

As for myself, I love it. I just don't like the dull instruction given to students, so I take the initiative to do some research.

Not the Canadian/American history I usually have to do, but I LOVE Ancient history, especially Egyptian.
