I saw the Anime on youtube once and the voices sounded the same. But yeah Ash all of them sound alot different. May sounds like a mature woman and Max sounds like a man also so does Meowth. Also Jesse and James sound like they are played by a dude. :neutral:

My wife quickly responded, "He's just growing up, honey." I chuckled.

Later, she tells me, "they could have at least gotten people that sounded like the old actors."


So, yeah. Even my 4-year old noticed the difference.

i dunno, i actually thought the voice actors did a good job. Yeah max sounds annoying as does jesse and meowth, but i have gotten used to them already, but i also understand where you all are coming from too.

I watched the mirage movie,they were terrible,i watched the first episode of battle frotier Last night,a little better,but still terrible.I watched the new episode today.Much better.
Maybe they were threatended to get fired if they didnt't improve and they stayed up all Hehheh.

For some reason unknown, I have never been able to get it up to say what I think about the new voices, Well here I go:

Max = OK by me, he's always been annoying :tongue: .
May = Well, from the MMOMP special to now, She no longer sounds like a fatass, but still sounds like she's 40!
Brock = still to deep, needs a bit more work but good for now.
Ash = WAY to childish! I was so pulling that the re-re-cast would be more like what he sounded like in the first season, than what he did it the latest :susp: .
Pikachu = The same, but its more than likely from voice pulling.
Meowth = Sounds to much like a mad scientist. Altough he does sound a LOT closer to the Japanese voice now, the Spanish ones still my fave.
Jessie = Much better. Now she doesn't sound so much like Misty, and has a more adult voice.

And for the smack down!
James = CAN IT NOW BEFORE MY EARS BLOW OFF!!!!!!!!!! He sounds like someone crammed his nose full of cotton balls! and he's in a constant state of being comatose, never up or funny like before, and this voice doesn't even come close to his very first one (which changed after Brock came in), thats how bad it is!!! FIRE THAT ACTORS @$$ NOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, mostly good, but one bad apple ruins my whole bunch for sure.

As for the Pokemon characters, I could have done a million times better job than what they did with Munchlax, but hopefully most of the others will only get better, and quite sounding the same as previous characters (Eevee/Butterfree, Scyther/Skarmory etc...).

I didn't really like most the voices, but I guess I'll get used to them. Ash was so-so, I think it's a new change for Ash that I could get used to. May was pretty good. Jessie was very good, the Lady who voices May, Misty, and Jessie is pretty good. James sounded pretty retarted and so did Meowth. I don't think this TAJ Productions has a lot of Voices on Hand. The Theme sucked and the Ending Song was that stupid one they used for the Mastermind Special.

Apart from the fact that they pronounce Pokemon wrong (-_-) the opening theme song isn't too bad.

Can't judge the new voices as I haven't heard them for myself. I can only hope desperately that they are way better than the Mirage Special. =P
