Pokemon: Journey to a New World

Ok, everybody. Here it is. I'll be back on later to post my part of the story. Have fun!

o.k shall i just start if so heres my part

Kurik and the others land on this new world as ash was telling him, at first kurik was calm about this new journey but now that it has started kurik felt scared. he looked at Flames {arcanine}
"so what do u think" kurik said to flames
flames roared kurik knew flames was happy and thought if flames is this exited then so should i.

Ash looked around the ship. A bunch of his friends had been invited, but he hadn't seen one yet. Pikachu, the small yellow electric mouse Pokemon on his shoulder, sighed deeply as it looked around for any signs of Brendan, May, Kurik, or any other friends.

"Pika!" it cried. Ash looked in the direction Pikachu was pointing. He immedietly spotted Kurik standing near the edge of the ship, in front of the railing with his Arcanine.

"Hey Kurik!" he yelled, running over to him.

kurik turned around it was ash his old friend
"hey ash"
kuriks arcanine roared with joy that they had finaly spotted one of there friends
"i know boy it's good to see a friend after a long time"
kurik reach for his wrist {this is were he keeps his pokemon} and pulled out a pokeball
"go rocky!"
rocky is kuriks golem he is very lazy but puts up a good fight. rocky,kurik and arcanine ran towards ash and pikachu.

Brendan was walking along the giant deck of the ship, looking for anyone he could possibly know. Suddenly, he spotted Ash talking with Kurik up ahead.

Finally, someone I know! he thought to himself.

"Hey Ash! Kurik! How've ya been?" he said, walking up to them.

Kurik heard a sound in the distance it was brendan
" yo brendad" kurik shouted
and thought yes another person i know, he turned around and looked over the deck there was a bunch of remoraid in the water.
"i diden't know johto pokemon were in this region aswell ash"

(Hello!)

The wind whipped past Erik's face as he squinted down at the earth below. He rode his Pidgeot, Sunclaw, and they were gliding over the coast. Finally, he spotted the ship they were to board.

He was only able to point, for any sound he made would instantly be carried away by the fierce winds coming in from the sea. Sunclaw simply nodded in acknowledgement before circling and gently gliding down. Sunclaw landed neatly on the deck across from Kurik, letting Erik climb off his back.

"Good job," the young boy said with a ghost of a smile as he returned the gigantic bird to his pokeball, quickly replacing it to his belt. With a sigh of relief, he turned to look out at the ocean, leaning on the railing as he did so. The time had finally come. He'd be going to a new land.

(I'd like to point out that, as of right now, Erik doesn't know anyone.)

[Darkness]

"Luis we have the Devon Goods that we stolen," said the Grunts. "Excellent now we can built the ship to go to the new region so we can get control of Groudon. In the mean while you Grunts call the others to help built the ship. The earlier the better. Now lets get out here and get working on the ship to the new region," exclaimed Luis.

[Kay]

William was excited of meeting new friends he send out his Blaze and he and Blaze explore the ship they see shops video games he enters a pokemon battle stadium en see some very good battles then William ask the other trainers if they have seen good trainers battling they answer they have seen a trainer with incredible skills named Erik William and Blaze goes to find that trainer Erik when they find him he tells him hello want to be friend

Jade sighed as she sat atop Baldor. It seemed like the ferry would not leave port for quite a while, but already trainers were getting reacquainted, almost as if everyone on the ship knew each other...

Jade shuddered and shook off the horrifying thought. Baldor, her Gyarados gave a small grunt and sunk a little lower into the waves. Jade kicked the water with her bare feet and giggled like a child. She didn't want to board the ship just yet, Baldor could sense that. Her unease emitted like a siren, wailing into the sea dragon’s ears.

His trainer, since the first time he knew her, bore an innate fear of crowds. It was so natural. Even with a single human at her side, Jade would seem to shrink and she’d try to escape to a world of her own. A world where she was alone and no one could touch her…


“Bal…?’

The Gyarados looked to his back where his trainer sat. She was still playing with water and withdrawing further into her little world, halfheartedly stroking Minerva, a Feebas, as it writhed on her lap. Baldor gave her a little grunt as a signal to continue.


“Do you think I should go up there…? I don’t like it, It’s scary…” Jade picked up her legs from the water and tucked them under her chin, Minerva wriggled out from being sandwiched in between her trainer’s belly and thick thighs. As far as the Feebas was concerned, she had to be treated like the Goddess she was named after – not a cushion.

“Gyaaa… Dohs… Gyaaaaaa…” Baldor gently instructed her, giving the advice any parent would give:
‘Sweetie, I know how it must feel… But you have to face your fears if you want to overcome them…’


“You’re right, Bal.” Jade extended her legs and stood up on her Gyarados, letting Minerva fall into the water. The Feebas gave an exasperated ‘humph’ but bobbed along in the waves as her eyes followed her trainer, Minerva watched her climbing up the dragon’s segmented body, hopping scales to reach the Gyarados’ head.

“Bal, can you stretch up to the deck? I’m not in the mood to use the stepladder…”


The Gyarados gave an ear-to-ear grin, his regular trainer was back again. Jade picked up Minerva from the water below, as Baldor heaved his bulky head up into the air and over the ship’s railing. The Gyarados lowered his head for his trainer to climb down onto the sunning deck. That was Jade - good, old, lazy Jade…

Ash smiled as Brendan approached him and Kurik.

"Hey Brendan, how've ya been?" he said cheerfully. He then turned back to Kurik,who had just asked him a question. "I didn't know there were Johto Pokemon here, either," he repsonded.

Out of the corner of his eye, Ash saw something blue and white. He turned and saw a Gyarados stretching up to the deck and allowing a female trainer to get off of its head and onto the ship's deck. The girl had shoulder length mahogany hair and brown eyes. She wore a green shirt and a pair of brown shorts that looked sort of like a pleated skirt, with the extra flap that was attached. A red bandana was tied around her neck, and a thin belt looking thing encircled her waist.

"Hey, I wonder who that is," Ash said, letting his thoughts come from his mouth. "Do you think we should go over and say hi or something? She looks kinda lonely," he asked, turning to Brendan and Kurik.


(Oh, just to let everyone know, you can descibe somebody else's character, if your own character doesn't know who they are. Just make sure you don't take over the other person's character. Like directing what the other person's character says and does. Leave that to them, please. Just a friendly reminder! :happy:

[Abbi]

Alright team. We've sucessfully snuck aboard the ship. Now, just make sure no one that could possibly recognize you see you," Archie told his Aqua grunts as they gathered around him in the ship's cargo hold.

"But sir, that would mean we'd have to stay down here the whole time. We can't do that," one of the grunts protested.

"You don't have to stay down here. Feel free to roam the upperdecks, just as long as you keep a low profile. Avoid anyone that you think might recognize you," Archie answered. "You may all go now, if you want." He sat down upon one of many large boxes in the room. All of the grunts turned and walked out the door, one by one.

Abbi was the last out. She closed the door behind her and turned to walk up the flight of stairs leading to the upperdeck. But, when she turned around, however, she ran into one of the ship's attenders.

"What were you doing in there, young lady?" he asked sternly.

"Um, I was just checking to see if my bags were put in there," Abbi lied.

"Alright, but let's make sure it doesn't happen again. Passengers aren't allowed in the cargo area," the man replied. He then walked off. Abbi rolled her eyes. Some people were just so gullible. She ran up the flight of stairs that led up to the ship's deck.

Once on deck, she looked around. She thought she had seen someone she wanted to talk to.

"I could've sworn I saw him up here," she muttered to herself. Suddenly, one of Abbi's friends, Justin, came up to her.

"Hey Abbi," he said. "What are you doing?"

"Oh, just looking for someone," Abbi replied. Quickly, she spotted the person she was looking for. Justin started to say something else, but she put a hand up and turned to him. "Sorry. I've got to go. See you later!" she said, then ran off. Justin stared after her, confused.

The person Abbi had seen was none other than Ash Ketchum, her long lost sibling. She had planned to find him once she was aboard and have a little "talk" with him. Now, that moment had finally come. Abbi finally neared him, and she stopped running.

"Ash," she said sternly. "can I talk to you for a minute?"

[Lightnin]

"nice pigeot" kurik said to erik
"but my steelix can beat ur pigeot any day"
kurik tured around to talk to the others
"brendan is everyone here now"
kurik was to exited to wait for the new region, flames and rocky were both lieing by the railing looking hungry and tied.
"your so lazy" kurik said
kurik went off to see if he could find some food for the pokemon.

Brendan looked around. He spotted the girl Ash was talking about.

"I dunno. Maybe we should leave her alone," he replied. He noticed Ash's sister, Abbi approaching them. "Uh, Ash? You've got company," he said. "I'm going to go look and see if anymore of our friends are here." And with that, we walked off.

Man, where are May and Angel and all of the others? he thought to himself. Surely they didn't miss the ship.

kurik returned to the others with pokemon food he knew he had enough for everyone
he then walked over to brendan
"hey brendan are the others here yet"

Erik glared slightly at Kurik in response to the almost blatant challenge.

"Then it's a good thing I wouldn't use my Pidgeot against your Steelix, isn't it? I'd much rather use my Typhlosion." He turned back to William.

"I'm Erik Ishii," he said, holding out a hand. "And maybe."

[Mew_fan]

May walked off the ship. Then came Ash's familiar voice."Hey look guys its May!" May smiled and ran over to see her friends. "Hi guys!I almost missed the trip." She looked through all the faces. "So what have I missed?" May asked. She stared at them now. "Lets talk later." She said. She was a little off balance, since she had only been on a ship once or twice. She sat by a tree. "Kurik, Eric, Brendan, Ash..." She said, under her breath. "Wheres everyone else?"

[Kay]

"Alright, bye then," Erik said, waving to William. His gaze turned to the others on the ship. One, two, three... There were six (?) people on other than himself and William. Presumably not everyone was here yet, seeing as the boat had not yet gotten going. He shifted anxiously from one foot to another. He really wished that they would hurry up.

"Hey, May!" Ash said, smiling warmly at his friend as she walked up beside him. He then heard a voice say, "Ash, can I talk to you?" (not taking over your character Abbi, just quoting) Ash turned around slowly, recognizing the voice immedietly. There in front of him, as he had predicted, was Abbi. She didn't look too happy to see him, and he felt the same feeling toward her.

"Yeah? What is it?" he asked, ignoring the butterflies that had formed in his stomach.

Angel walked up the ship's ramp and onto the deck. She looked around, hoping to spot anyone she knew. From the corner of her eye, she thought she saw Brendan walking around the corner.

Exactly who I wanted to see, she thought to herself.

"Brendan! Hey, Brendan! Over here!" she yelled, running toward him.

With mild interest, Erik watched the confrontation between the black haired boy, Ash, and a girl. He didn't really understand what was going on, but he waited for the girl to reply anyway.

[Kay]

William was thinking what was Erik seeing he spot a trainer with a girl and ask Erik who are those two trainers you are seeing?

"I'm not entirely sure," he said with a shrug. "I heard someone call the boy Ash, but... That's about all I know."

[Kay]

Well you have no clue ok lets wait the girl goes out then we ask him who he is William said William was thinking why Archie of team aqua is not here

For her, it wasd a whole new adventure and she couldn't wait to see some of her old rivals anf friends. As she boarded the ship, after walking aorund, she caught sight of a familiar group. She thought she saw Kurik and Brendan and the others.

Lexi ran over to the others.

"Hey guys! I'm here!" she exclaimed.

Kurik glared at erik after he made that comment just as he was about to say somthing he heard a voice in the distance, it was lexi she was running over to the other
"hey" kurik shouted
then he turned back to erik and said
"haha smart boy, well then my golem would pound ur typhlosion"

“Thank you, Bal,” Jade hopped off her Gyarados as Baldor grunted a welcome.

Scanning the deck, many trainers were still getting reacquainted - shaking hands, chatting and battling above all. They all seemed like friends, making Jade shrink into the floor, feeling out of place. Baldor pulled her up with a fin and tried a method of bringing confidence to his trainer.

‘Try to find someone you know, Sweetie. It won’t be so scary if you have a friend-’

“Brendan! Hey Brendan, over here!” (Quoted off Ash_Lover) An unruly female voice cut the Gyarados’ pep talk. Jade turned her head to a girl, she seemed to throw herself forward as she charged towards a boy who appeared to have white hair, held securely in place with a strategically-placed headband. She had never met this boy, but he seemed strangely familiar…


“Minnie, give me a memory check on who this ‘Brendan’ is.” She asked for her Feebas to recall any memory she may have had about this boy.

Minerva, as she knew, had brilliant photographic memory and was Jade’s constant memory bank. As Minerva was always cradled in her trainer’s arms, the Feebas saw everything Jade saw. And Jade could tap into the Feebas’ memory for anything she’d wish to recall.

Placing her fingertips on her Feebas’ sunken cheeks, Jade concentrated to probing Minerva’s memory for a trace of the strange boy. An image of Brendan came into view, a man had one hand on the boy’s back, and one in front, in an introductory pose. The girl immediately recognized the man as Mr. Stone, he had worked with her on her latest expedition: a fruitful attempt to track down the legendary Regice.

At the very end of the journey, Regice did appear to the adventure seekers, but still evaded capture. But back in Rustboro city, Mr. Stone had introduced Jade to his son, a boy called Brendan…

No doubt about it, Brendan was the son of Mr. Stone.


‘Miiii… Miiii…” Minerva warbled in Jade’s arms ‘Go introduce yourself to him… Don’t be shy.’

“Uh… Okay,” Jade stared at her Feebas in almost a stunned silence, she was afraid to approach any of these trainers, let alone strike up a conversation with one of the most dashing, “I’ll do it later.”

‘Do it now!’ Minerva was getting impatient.
“Later Minerva…” Jade’s legs felt numb, almost ingrained to the spot, but out of the darkness came a voice – Jade’s saving grace;

“Ha, ha - smart boy. Well then, my Golem would pound your Typhlosion."(Quoted off Lightnin)


“Oh, if you’re going to use a Golem, would you like to challenge my Feebas or Gyarados?” Jade grinned; it’d been a while since she last battled, “Minnie, would you like to get into a fight…?”

And Minerva just rolled her eyes...

kuriks head turned as this young girl talk to him
"ha you know my golem would be at a disitvantage against your water types, i will exept your challenge but only if i can use another pokemon"
kurik reached to his wrist and picked out a pokeball
"go Lazy"
out poped an alakazam kurik had a big smile on his face as his alakazam showed of his emence power.
"battle me now, GIRLY" kurik shouted
as he went in to his battle mode as he discribes it.

“Okay,” the grin widened, as Jade set down a protesting Minerva onto the dock, “You can change your pokemon, but I won’t change mine. Baldor and Minerva are my only ones and I plan to win with them.”


“Miiiii…Miii…”, Minerva was stunned at the beast standing inches from her little body. It towered slightly above the average human height and wielded two spoons. A star shaped face adorned the yellow creature and a long moustache trailed from the top of a pointed snout. Brown, fuzzy bands lined the creature’s limbs, and in a show of joss, the Alakazam twisted the spoon in the grip of its right claw with a psychic attack, making the little Feebas quiver in fear, ‘Oh my god…’


“…This will be a one-on-one judging battle; you lose should your skill to commune with your pokemon be not up to par! At the end of three minutes, we will ask spectators for votes on who is more attached to their pokemon, with marks based on their pokemon’s Physical strength and the pokemon’s Mental prowess – the more the merrier!” Jade named her terms and clapped as she spun on her heel, trying her best to retain composure, “Minnie! I.B-W.P formation – pronto!”


The command would baffle any foe, but Minnie understood it like a second language. This was Jade’s code, and Baldor and Minerva remembered it by heart. The little brown fish spread wide her dorsal fins and shot a harsh glare at the Alakazam. Then, with the grace of a dancer, a freezing beam of ice shot from Minerva’s dorsal fin. Ice Beam.

Jade stopped her spin to pull of her elastic band which held her hair in place. Pointing the rubber in the direction of the beam, she shot it at lightning speed. The band caught in the Ice Beam attack and froze immediately, forming a large mass of ice fell hard upon the Alakazam. The beast staggered backwards in shock, but besides minor bruising was otherwise unscathed.

"And by the way - my name’s Jade: Not ‘Girly’!"

Ooc~/ Don’t worry, Jade’s style of fighting is perfectly legal. It’s based on the kind in Pokemon Emerald: either in the Battle Arena of the Battle Frontier or the Fallabour Battle Tent.

Kurik grined as the feedbas showed off his ice beam
"it's gonna take a lot more than that to beat me and lazy, psybeam!"
lazy shot out a huge psybeam it was multi-coloured and full of power, the feedbas looked stunned as the psybeam hit the pokemon.
"poor little thing, are you hurt"
kurik said to the feedbas
"well you an't seen nothing yet"


p.s: sorry i am not realy sure wat type of fight we r having so i will try my best.

William was talking to Erik and notices that people where running and ask one of them why are running? The respond there where a pokemon battle William was going to see the battle when he go and was seeing what type of battle they are doing? They answer they are doing a one-on-one judging battle what was that William ask? That is wee see the skill that this time is team with you pokemon I think so that’s means the one with more Team up skills with their pokemon wins thanks William said that must be a alakazam with a feebas so here we see alakazam has more advantage that feebas but I wont be judging lets see who wins

Deciding not to tell Kurik that Aurora could beat his Golem anyday, especially here, on a boat, he watched the battle with interest. The girl had more flare, and an interesting way of attacking. She seemed to be a good battler, and a great trainer. But then, Kurik and his Alakazam weren't doing too bad, either, even though Erik could see it didn't have any real advantage over the Feebas. Maybe he taught it an electric move...?

Yes I am with you Erik that feamale trainer is good but maybe that trainer I don’t know his name taught alakazan thunder punch well what must that male trainer must fear if that feebas evolved in to a milotic he will used mirror coat and I don’t think that trainer taught his alakazam moves that you cannot conters with milotic’s mirror coat William said

Brendan walked around a corner, still looking for any signs of his friends that hadn't yet arrived.

"Brendan! Hey Brendan! Over here!" (quoted from Ash_lover) Brendan heard a familiar voice call out. He turned toward the direction the voice had come from and smiled.

Ash almost stumbled into Abbi as she pulled him aside.

"You do remember that little encounter we had back in Petalburg, right?" she asked. "Well, thanks to you, Team Aqua almost got thrown out of buisness. Now, while I'm on this ship with you, I'm going to ask you one more time. Will you join Team Aqua?" Abbi kept a tight hold on Ash's arm. "I'd think hard over the consequences if I were you," she added in a voice that could plant a seed of fear in almost anyone.

A chill went down Ash's spine as Abbi said the last sentence. He swallowed hard before responding, "No. I wouldn't join Team Aqua then, and I won't join it now." He glanced at Pikachu, attempting to make eye contact. The small electric Pokemon glanced back at him. It noticed Ash's hand clench into a fist. It was prepared to fight if it had to, and so was Ash. Even if this was his sister.

{yo can i just carry on with the battle if so here i go}

kurik looked at alakazam and thought next move has to be good
"alakazam charge"
alakazam started charging it's power there was a yellow glow around alakazam, as kuik and lazy both smiled they knew that they had somthing good hidden. Kurik reached to his pocket and threw some stones to the ground.
"Lazy Physic"
alakazam lifted the stones with his telecenetic powers and threw them at feedbas, the feedbas looked confused at what was going on.
"now ZAP CANNON!"
kuriks alakazam shot out a huge zap cannon...

William was seeing the cool battle and thinks if that trainer ash and the mysterious girl were end with their chatting he goes see and they where not there then he ask himself where they are well William goes back seeing the battle and he notice that the alakazam of that male trainer was doing zap cannon he thinks that if the female trainer do not does something it may be the end with that feebas

So tot now they are chit-chatting well so this time they go where no one can see them that must be annoying to that Ash well that battle is getting good. What that alakazan was taught zap cannon? That may be bad to that female trainer this will make his feebas a roasted fish what she will do now

Jade gulped - Zap Cannon was an electric attack, doubled with Charge gave birth to a sinister combination. Should Minerva get hit, she'd black out even before the judging could begin...


"You won’t get points for brute force, you know!” Jade waved her hands and formed an ‘X’ with her arms over her chest: yet another code Minerva understood. The Feebas flipped her little brown body in the air, as the yellow, static beam flew right into her path. The audience was astounded at the idea, Minerva would surely die. But Jade had a trick up her sleeve.


Zap Cannon, it dashed across towards them, singeing the air it left in its wake. But Minerva was unfazed. Closer and closer the beam came… Faster, faster it charged...

It hit, exploding with an astounding crack. Then – Silence.

As the smoke cleared, the silhouette of Minerva was seen in the smoking aftermath of the attack. But the Feebas was alive and well, as a shimmering coating covered its body.

“Miii!” Minerva smiled, the tactic had worked better than she’d anticipated.


“Like I said, brute force will get you nowhere in this battle. That was Protect!” Jade grinned, Minerva and her had communicated to perfection, “If you want to win, you must also remember the other factors that contribute to your score!”

“Gyaaaaaa!” Baldor watched with his head hanging over the deck’s railing. Jade wasn’t called the Dragon Lady for naught. She refused to fight her Pokemon to exhaustion but stuck to simple, three-minute judging battles which helped hone their skill of communication. 'Well done, you two!'


Turning her head, Jade saw the boy called Brendan talking to the girl and gave a small sigh, it was obvious they liked each other. But she had taken quite a fondness to him, it was disappointing that Brendan already had a girl to love and spend time with.

‘You should talk to him, you know…’ Minerva instructed, carefully dodging a psychic attack from the Alakazam, ‘for all you know, he may just like you more that that girl.’

“I doubt it, Minnie.” Jade sent the message telepathically, refusing to say aloud any feelings she was developing for the boy, “He looks so happy with her. I don’t want to ruin it for any of them.”

‘That’s just you, isn’t it? You always think of others, you don’t bother about your own well being.’

“Minerva, just look at them, I don’t want to intrude. And besides, I don’t need to bother about myself, I have you and Bal. Brendan loves her and I have no right to barge in, that’s the way God wants it to be.” In avertedly, she’d said that out loud …

Erik had been right; the Alakazam HAD known an electric move, and a powerful one at that. Thinking back, he vaguely remembered seeing an Espeon that knew Zap Cannon... In any case, it had seemed as though it was over for the Feebas. But, Jade and her Pokemon wowed the crowd once more by pulling off a last-second Protect. He applauded the girl's skill, as well as the skill of the Pokemon.

(I had to add that in about the Espeon; I have an Espeon on my Crystal game that knows Zap Cannon.

strength!” Jade cupped her hands to the sides of her mouth to allow her voice to breach the smoky wall. By the looks of it, the Alakazam’s metronome had warped into a smokescreen. She repeated her call, this time for her Feebas, through the black, “Minnie?”

“Miiii…” Minnie’s assuring cry broke through the smoke, ‘I’m fine…’


“Okay, Minnie I trust you know what to do?” Jade had many more tricks in her arsenal, and even with Minerva’s protective film gone, the Feebas would still prove to be formidable. The girl yelled her next command through the inky blackness;

“Minnie, Mahal Kita!”


Minerva heard every last bit of it, and began drawing water vapor from the air around. As the smoke was mainly water based, the task proved to be easy for the Feebas. At last the air surrounding Minerva became dry as a bone, and Minerva shot out her attack with renewed fervor.

The attack comprised of several dozen rings of water, each executed with a sharp, high-pitched call from Minerva. This was Water Pulse. The water rings cut through the smoke and absorbed the blackness, cutting a clear path through the smoke. Finally, they hit the Alakazam square in the chest.

The yellow beast was rendered confused. And Minerva had added a potent addition to her water pulse: an essence of Attract. The Alakazam was now, vulnerable to any attack Minerva could pull. But Jade had mercy, the onslaught was over and three minutes were up. It was judging time.

“Right on, Minnie!” Jade clapped and spun on her heel, as Minerva hopped back into her trainer’s arms, Jade’s rubber band in her mouth. And as Jade tied her hair, she called to the audience;

“Vote for Minerva the Feebas! Vote for Minnie!”

"Luis," said his Grunts. "We have finished with the ship," said a Grunt. Yes lets go on it and find Groudon in the new region!!!" exclaimed Luis. "I also heard that a bunch of kids are traveling in the new region," said Luis. "So if you see them show no mercy!!!" exclaimed Luis.

Ash almost stumbled into Abbi as she pulled him aside.
A chill went down Ash's spine as Abbi said the last sentence. He swallowed hard before responding, "No. I wouldn't join Team Aqua then, and I won't join it now." He glanced at Pikachu, attempting to make eye contact. The small electric Pokemon glanced back at him. It noticed Ash's hand clench into a fist. It was prepared to fight if it had to, and so was Ash. Even if this was his sister.


Abbi opened her mouth to say something but stopped when she heard rapid footsteps behind her. She turned around quickly and spotted Justin running toward her.

"Um, you-know-who wants all of us back you-know-where," he saidm making sure not to give away the fact that Archie and all of Team Aqua was on the ship. Abbi sighed.

"I'll be there in a minute," she said. She turned back to Ash as Justin ran back across the deck of the ship. "I've got to go right now, but that doesn't mean I won't be back for you," Abbi said to Ash. "Keep in mind that you're on a ship with me. There's nowhere you can go that I can't find you." And with that, she ran across the deck where Justin had gone.

A few minutes afterward, Abbi was back in the cargo area with Archie and the rest of the grunts.

"Abbi, did you talk to the boy?" Archie asked. His face was hidden by shadows as he sat on a large box in the corner of the room.

"Yes sir," Abbi replied. "He refused once again."

"Well, you know very well what we do with people who refuse to join us, right?" Archie asked, stepping partly out of the shadows. Abbi nodded. "Make sure you do that very thing. Just...wait til we're off the ship. We don't want to bring too much attention to ourselves," Archie continued. Abbi nodded.

"Yes sir. Whatever you say."

"Pika? Pika pika pika pi?" Pikachu asked him from its perch on his shoulder. Ash sighed.

"No, I'm fine," he answered. Looking around the ship, he realized everyone had started battling. "Wow. I guess we've got a competive bunch this time, huh?" He said to Pikachu.

"Pika!" the little electric Pokemon agreed. Ash smiled at it and turned around toward the railing behind him. The sun was beggining to set behind the mountains in the distance, making the sky turn pink and orange. Ash looked down at the water splashing up alongside the ship. This was the first time he'd ever felt this nervous or unsafe. He wasn't sure what to think or hope anymore. Maybe his competitive side would take over and he'd get over it...

"You really did a great job," he said, "and, had it been a regular battle, it would have been very close. But Jade and her Feebas are much more used to that style of battling, and are better at it. It's like loosing to a Gym Leader when its your first battle. You did good, and your Alakazam held its own, that's for sure."

Abbi, along with all of the other Aqua grunts, whirled around when they heard the cargo door creak open. They saw two boys standing in the doorway, only recognized by their shadows.

"Did you lead them here?!" Archie shouted at Abbi. He was the only one wearing an Aqua uniform, which is why he had hidden himself in the shadows previously. Now, he was standing in the light of the doorway, and his uniform was perfectly visible.

"N-No sir," Abbi said in a nrevous, yet firm voice. She turned to the boys. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

"Jolt!" Was the Pokemon's curt reply as bright points of light shot from its back towards the Grovyle.

"Give it your Bullet Seed!" Alex smiled.
Grovlye then opened its mouth and bright yellow seeds shot out aiming for Luke.

"Wonder what's going on?" he muttered to himself. He motioned for Pikachu to follow and started walking around to the back. He turned the corner and saw Kurik, Brendan and another boy standing in front of the cargo hold's open door. Kurik seemed to be introducing himself to whoever was inside.

Ash squeezed between the wall and Brendan and looked into the room.

"Abbi?!" he exclaimed.

"Pika pika!" Pikachu cried.

"What are you doing in here?" Ash asked. He then spotted a man standing partly in the shadows. His eyes narrowed. "Archie," he growled.

"Thunderwave!" Erik called out. Lightning sparked around Luke's fur, before flying outwards in a wave towards Grovyle.

(By the way, so people know... Jade (wanlingnic) won't be able to get on for a couple weeks, so I'm bunnying her character until then.)

The battle was over, with Jade declared the winner. Not that it seemed to make much difference. Her opponent, Kurik, had left with William to investigate something, two trainers, she thought their names were Alex and Erik, were battling, and everyone was just lingering or talking. Jade was leaning against a railing, Minerva in her arms and Baldor in the sea behind her.

"I wonder when we'll begin moving," She asked no one in particular.

Soon, I hope, Baldor said. The trainers are already getting restless. With a slight flick of his head, he motioned to the battling duo.

A ball appearing to be made of black lightning began to grow, before shooting off into the direction of the swift approaching Grovyle. The, Luke waited, just long enough to see if it would dodge.

"Actually, you probably can figure out what will happen if you tell. And if you remember correctly, it might end with one of you getting hurt," she said through gritted teeth, glancing up at all of the other trainers gathered around the door. "Come with me," she said to Ash and pulled him into one of the darkest corners of the room. She knew there was a hole near the floor big enough for both of them to fit through. She crouched down and walked through the hole, pulling Ash along behind her.

"We're going to have this chat in privacy," she growled at Ash as she felt her way around the tunnel-like place they were now in.

Luke couldn't move in time, and was swiped in the face. He was sent hurtling to one side, but he rolled quickly to his feet. There was a cut across one cheek, but he seemed angrier than ever, growling deeply. Erik couldn't call out an attack before he jumped forward, aiming to Tackle.
Grovyle landed but couldn't turn around in time for the Tackle to hit him onto the deck.
Grovyle got up and started to give the Jolteon a sneer.
Alex looked at her pokemon.
"You won't like Grovyle in this mood Erik,,,,,,,Grovyle...... show them your Agility and Bullet Seed!"
"Grovyle!" the poke mon shouted as it began to move quickly around; appearing near Jolteon or far away......... on the deck or in mid-air. Then it wsn't too long before the Bullet Seeds were seen aiming at different directions targeting Jolteon.

"Pin Missile, Luke!" Erik cried, ignoring the obvious jibe from Alex. Pins shot from the Jolteon's fur, hitting back a majority of the seeds. He ducked his head as the rest hit him. He then lifted his head once more; the few that made it through didn't do much damage.

"Alright, Luke, get ready for Thunder!" Erik called. Luke stood his ground.

"Ash!" Brendan yelled. He ran into the dark corner Ash and Abbi had disappeared through. "Ash!" he yelled again. Ash's Pikachu ran into the cargo hold and up to Brendan.

"Pika pika! Pika pi!" it cried, then bounded into the darkness. Brendan thought he saw it go through a hole in the wall. He quickly followed before Pikachu got out of sight. In front of him was a hole big enough for two or possibly three people to go through at one time. Pikachu stopped and turned back to him. "Pika!" it cried, motioning for Brendan to follow it. Brendan turned around and called to the others.

"Guys! There's a hole in the wall over here! That has to be where Abbi and Ash went. C'mon! We have to get to them before it's too late!" He then turned and crouched down, walking/crawling through the tunnel-like area around him. He made sure to keep his eyes on Pikachu, which was pretty much the only thing he could see. It seemed to be able to see pretty well in the dark and knew where it was going.

Don't worry, Ash. I'm coming. Abbi's not going to hurt you this time, he thought.

Krade an old friend of ashes and also a member of team aqua saw what had hapend and he followed the rest through the hole. "I hope Ash is alright" he wisperd to himself as he walked through the hole. Krade griped his latios's pokeball tightly incase he was needed.

"Grovyle...... use your Double Team and stand your ground!"
Grovyle landed in front of Alex and used it Double Team Attack to produce six Grovyles not too far apart from each other; each mounting their ground.



But then Alex heard something went "THUD!"

Ash fell onto his stomach as Abbi flung him into a brightly lit room. He quickly got to his feet as she emerged through the hole after him. He took a few steps back from her. Since she wasn't saying or doing anything at the moment, Ash decided to take a look around at his new surroundings. The room had two small windows placed beside each other on one side of the wall, the source of all the light in the room. In the corners were Aqua uniforms folded into neat piles on top of numerous barrels. Another door was placed on the right wall. Ash was curious as to where it led, but stayed where he was.

"Walrein, go!" (quoted from Abbi) Ash looked back to Abbi only to find a large Walrein sitting in front of him. It looked down at him with its piercing yellow eyes, then hoisted itself into the air, right above him. It came down on him, knocking him into the ground. He let out a pained grunt as the whole weight of the Pokemon rested on his stomach. A few seconds after, it placed its large flippers on his arms, pinning them to the ground. He then saw Abbi's face come into view about a foot above his own.

"Alright, Ash. Let's have our little chat now. There are many things I'd like to start with, but first, I want to ask you, why do you want to send me to jail?!" (quoted from Abbi) Ash struggled under the weight of the Walrein on top of him.

"Well, think about it, Abbi. Team Aqua is one of the most wanted groups in all of Hoenn, Johto and Kanto. And you're part of it. Besides, all of those things you almost did to Brendan, me and all of my other friends was completely punishable by law, and some of it, punishable by death," he managed to say. He felt as if his breath were being pushed out of him, which probably was what was happening. He decided now was as good a time as ever to release one, if not all of his Pokemon. He strained to reach his Poke Balls, but it was no use. Walrein had his arms pinned to the ground, making it impossible to reach them.

Boy, I'm in deep trouble now, he thought to himself.

As Ash straind to reach for his pokeballs Krade emerged secretly through the other door, still clutching his latios's pokeball, He through it up into the air and a big, blue bird apeard out of a flash of light.

Ash screamed as the electricity from Pikachu's Thunderbolt coarsed through his body. He watched as the Walrein lifted its flipper and knocked Pikachu across the room.

"Pikachu!" he cried. He then realized his left arm was free. He quickly grabbed a Poke Ball and threw it. "Grovyle, go!" he yelled. The green Pokemon appeared in front of him. "Leaf Blade on Walrein!" Grovyle obeyed its master and slashed it. Walrein cried out in pain and reared up on its tail, freeing Ash's upper body. Ash tried to slide out from under it, but Walrein came back down onto him, causing pain to envelope his body. Ash screamed once more and gritted his teeth.

"Guys! A litte help here!" he called out to Brendan and Krade. "Pikachu, Iron Tail! Grovyle, Bullet Seed!"

"Erik..............did you hear something?" she asked.
"Weird.....I haven't seen Ash or Pikachu onboard at all.............." she said to herself.

Erik was almost immediately snapped out of his 'battle mode' by the noises. Luke, too, seemed more curious and less tense.

"I don't think I have, either, not since before we left..." Erik said, thinking back.

The pokemon revealed its true form and ran to Alex while the others disappeared.
"I think it came from below deck......let's go Grovyle!"
Alex went running with her green pack around her waist with her Grovyle hopping above from one place to another following her.

"Dusclops, let's go!" Brendan cried, throwing a Poke Ball into the air. "Use Psychic on that Walrein!" he ordered. Dusclops' eyes began glowing light blue, and soon after, so did Walrein. Dusclops lifted the Walrein into the air, off of Ash. Brendan turned to Krade.

"Quick! Get your Latios to attack it while Dusclops has it in the air!" he exclaimed.

Luis we have landed on the new region but we see a bunch of kids running and battling. What do you think we should do?" Questioned the Grunt. "I will Battle them and take them as prisoners in our ship until we built our new base to find Groudon," replied Luis. And he walked into the bunch of kids waiting to capture them!

"Quick! Get your Latios to attack it while Dusclops has it in the air!" he exclaimed.

"Thanks, guys," he said, smiling at Brendan and Krade. He then noticed Alex and Grovyle standing in the doorway from the corner of his eye. "Alex? How did you find us down here?"

Abbi gritted her teeth as Walrein hit the wall, obviously knocked out. She quickly returned it to its ball and glared at Ash.

"Would you mind telling me how your little friends here found us?" she asked angrily. She lifted up her hand, and five Poke Balls were visible between her fingers. She threw her hand out and all of the Poke Balls were thrust into the air, releasing her other five Pokemon. "I've got a few choice things to say to you, Ash, but I'll hold back until later." she said, glancing at her brother as the five Pokemon she had released materialized in front of her.

"What the heck is going on?!" He said, frustrated, and looked around Alex.

William said sorry to be late guys can I join the party? Go Sala and Blaze get on the party. The mighty dragon appears with his red wings and with his great scream. And the other mighty warriors come with his intense flames and his powerful kicks. Ok its time to have fun.

Ash took a couple of steps back from Abbi and the Pokemon she had released. He wasn't in any condition to fight her off at the moment.

Acting completely out of instinct, he cried out, "Grovyle, Quick Attack!" The green Pokemon charged at the Pokemon across from it. (Whatever it may be) Ash then threw his arms out, causing Pikachu to go into the air. "And Pikachu! Get in there with a Thunderbolt!" he cried. The yellow electric Pokemon obeyed and shocked the Pokemon in front of it. "Keep it up!" Ash yelled out to them.

Well, my sister, Abbi," Ash started, nodding his head toward Abbi, standing across from him. "dragged me down here from the cargo hold and sent her Walrein out on me. I don't really know what it's about, though."

"Well, that's good enough for me," Erik said, clenching one fist. "You get in there, too, Luke! Thunder!" Electricity sparked between the pointy tufts of Luke's fur, and, with a feral cry, were sent forwards at the nearest enemy Pokemon.

Ash watched with some kind of horror as Archie and the rest of Team Aqua appeared through the door he had been curious about earlier. They all sent out a Pokemon, surrounding him and his friends. Pikachu backed up against Ash's leg as a Mightyena stood over it, saliva dripping out of its mouth. It stared at Pikachu hungrily.

"Hey back off! Leave Pikachu alone!" Ash yelled at it, and picked Pikachu up off of the ground. The Mightyena snapped at Ash's leg. Ash lifted the leg up, and it missed. He then felt something wrap around his middle and jerk him backwards. The sudden motion caused him to drop Pikachu. It hit the ground uncomfortably in the spot he had been standing.

Ash soon found himself pulled up against another human body, and was being held in place by his waist.


"Now, tell me. Do you truly think joining Team Aqua would be a bad thing now?" (quoted from Abbi) Ash recognized the spine-tingling voice as Abbi's. He swallowed hard as the stainless steel of a pocket knife gleamed in the sunlight from the corner of his eye. In front of him, though, the scene that was about to go on was horrifying to think about.

Pikachu had landed right in front of the hungry Mightyena. But even worse, a bunch of Mightyena had gathered around it, all with the same hungry look. They all lunged at Pikachu, teeth bared.

"Pikachu, no!" Ash cried out desperately.

Ash's face twisted into a pained expression as the object Archie had put on his forehead, now identified as a mind controlling chip, took over his mind, which gave him a huge headache. Everything, everyone he knew was competely erased. Or so it seemed. The only things that were left in his mind were the fact that he knew Abbi, Archie and all of Team Aqua, but that fact that they were evil or bad was erased. His Pokemon still remained; they couldn't let him forget about them. But the memories of Brendan, Krade, and Alex were erased, making them the enemy now. (Draconic_Espeon, you said Erik didn't know anyone, right? And William doesn't have a past with Ash, right Kay?)

About two minutes later, the pain stopped, and Ash's eyes glazed over. He saw Archie and Abbi smiling at him.

"Welcome to the team, lil' bro. Now, your first assignment: Get rid of those trainers!" (quoted from Abbi) Ash's gaze turned to Brendan, Krade, Erik, Alex and William. "

"But start with that one!" (quoted from Abbi) Ash followed Abbi's finger to Krade. His fists clenched by his side and an evil grin spread across his face.

"Yes. Now the traitor will get his punishment. Destroy him, Ash!" (also quoted from Abbi)

Traitor? Ash asked in his mind. His grin vanished, leaving a frown that was that of nothing anyone had seen on Ash's face before. His eyes grew darker, which by now seemed impossible. He then started walking toward Krade, scooping up a terrfied Pikachu along the way. Ash had scared him at some points, but this was unbearable. This person that was holding him seemed as if only a replica of Ash; an evil, psychotic maniac instead of the sweet, loving trainer he used to know. This Ash was just like Abbi, and that was the worst possible thing that could happen other than death.

(Those last three sentences were from Pikachu's POV)

Alex looked in dismay as her friend Ash became part of Team Aqua and she was helpless up to that point.

"Ash..........." she said softly.

She then took a pokeball from her green waistbag and she threw it in the air.

"Roselia! Give em your Petal Dance!"

A light came from the ball and a ligt was seen spinning. From that white light a green pokemon with beautiful roses for hands came spinning down while releasing beautiful but strong pink, sparkling petals that targeted all the Water pokemon surrounding the team of trainers.

"Grovyle! Use Bullet Seed at Archie and the rest!"

Grovyle jumped into the air and released its Bullet Seed heading for Archie, Abbi and the other grunts.

Roselia landed slowly next to its trainer while slowly and gently saying its name.

Ash groaned in pain as the Psychic attack caused pain to course through his body. He slowly managed to open his eyes and look down at Krade. Despite the pain he was in at the moment, the evil grin from before appeared on his face.

"You think a little Psychic attack can stop me?" he asked in a menacing voice. His arm slowly moved to his belt and pressed a button on one of his Poke Balls. It opened and a creamy-white Pokemon with piercing blue eyes came out of it. "Use Ice Beam on that Latios!" Ash commanded. The Pokemon obeyed and sent out a light blue beam at Krade's Latios. The beam hit it, and a block of ice formed around the Pokemon, making it unable to move. The Psychic hold on Ash was released and he fell to his ground. To everyone's surprise, he landed on his feet.

"Good job, Glalie," he said to the Pokemon.

"Glalie," it said in a really deep voice. Pikachu looked up at its trainer, its eyes completely filled with fear. Ash turned to Krade.

"Any other tricks you wanna try?" he inquired. His voice was what scared Pikachu the most. It wasn't normal at all. It had this evil ring to it, and sent chills down its spine, just like Abbi's. There had to be some way to get the real Ash Ketchum back.

Currently, four of Erik's Pokemon were released; Daisuke the Nidoking, Daja the Dragonair, Luke the Jolteon, and Sunclaw the Pidgeot. Everything around him seemed to move too fast for him to respond. The boy who's Pikachu Luke and Sunclaw had helped save, Ash, was suddenly a mamber of Team Aqua. Still, he held back, fists clenched.

"Jolt?" Luke asked him, looking quzzical.

"There's nothing we can do right yet," Erik replied through clenched teeth. "There's really no fight in Ash's Pokemon; there's not a point in doing anything. We've just gotta hope that they can bring him back to his senses."

(I thought Glalie was silver and black...)

Ash fought down the urge to scream as all of the attacks hit him at once. He had never felt so much pain in his life. He had dropped Pikachu when the attacks had been sent out, knowing they were going to hit him. So, he knew it was safe.

When the attacks finally ceased, the pain died down a little and Ash fell to the ground, motionless. Pikachu ran to his body and began shaking it, trying to wake him up. When it realized he probably wasn't going to wake up, it turned to the others, angry sparks dancing along its cheeks.

"Pika pika pika chu!" it cried angrily, tears welling up in its eyes. Translation: <How could you do this to him? All you had to do was try and reason with him, but instead you hit him with all of theses attacks! Why?> More tears welled up in its eyes, and began to fall down its face, causing its cheeks to sizzle as the sparks continued to crackle from the electricity it was building up.

Ok Ok enough punishment William said. Pikachu I am so sorry if you are feeling bad for this but it’s the right thing to do you trainer has become crazy trying to reason him dint work that’s why I tell him I will see him as the enemy not as a friends that why we did that forgive me William says to pikachu. Ash slowly opened his eyes and looked around. He saw Alex, Krade, Brendan Erik and William all standing in front of him, worried looks on their faces. Yes, he remembered them. The chip on his forehead had obviously been messed up when all of the attacks hit him.

Pikachu ran up to its trainer and stopped smiling as much as it possibly could. With a little difficulty, Ash sat up on his elbows and allowed the small electric Pokemon to run into him in a huge embrace.

"Pika!" it cooed, happily rubbing its head against Ash's neck, which was the only thing it could reach at the moment. (His head was above it) Translation: <You're ok!>

Ash glanced around once more and noticed Grovyle and Glalie lying on the ground, knocked out.

What happened? he asked himself. He then caught sight of Abbi, Archie and the rest of the Aqua grunts, fuming behind him.

Brendan breathed a sigh of relief as he saw Ash open his eyes and look around. He walked over to him and held out his hand.

"Need a hand?" he asked, smiling down at Ash.

Ash returned the smile and grabbed Brendan's hand. Pikachu took its normal perch on Ash's shoulder and Ash allowed Brendan to pull him up. When he got to his feet however, pain that was of nothing he had ever felt before ran through his body, and he almost fell back to the ground.

Almost too quickly, his eyes glazed over again. But, this time, a blue aura surrounded his body, making it look as if he were charging up a Pokemon's attack or something. The aura had a spooky glow to it, and gave Ash a meneacing appearence. Pikachu sensed the evilness back in him, and its ears immidietly went back in fear.

"Pika pi!" it said into Ash's ear. Translation: <Ash, you've got to fight it! Don't let them control you!>

At this, Ash's eyes turned back to normal, and the aura disappeared. He looked around blankly. The unbearable pain ran through his body again and he almost fell to the ground.

What's wrong with me? he thought to himself. His eyes then glazed over once more, and the aura came back. Pikachu then realized what was going on.

"Pika pika! Pi pi pikachu pika!" it cried, looking at the others in an attempt to talk to them. Translation: <He's fighting it! But, if it keeps doing this to him, it could kill him. I don't know what the blue thing is, but we have to snap him out of it completely, or that thing's going to kill him!>

Ash groaned loudly and held his head as his eyes turned back to normal and the aura disappeared once more.

"pika pika!" Pikachu cried. <Do something!>

As the chip disappeared, the pain ceased, and Ash opened his eyes. To everyone's relief, they weren't glazed over.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu exclaimed, hugging Ash the best it could from its perch on his shoulder. Ash smiled at it and stroked its head with the hand nearest to it. He then took out two Poke Balls and held them out at arm's length.

"Grovlye, Glalie! Return!" he cried, and the Pokemon were sucked into the balls with a beam of red light. When he drew the balls back to him, he noticed something blue glowing around his hands and arms. "Huh?" he said, putting the Poke Balls on his belt and examining his hands and arms closely.

"Guys, what's this blue thing around me?" he asked uneasily. He was still in pain from being attacked, and wasn't ready to be in anymore. Looking down at the rest of his body, he saw the blue thing got stronger as it came closer to his head. (He doesn't know what it is because he can't remember anything from being mind controlled.)

"Pika pika," Pikachu said to him. <Try touching it. Maybe it'll disappear.> Ash nodded; anything sounded like a good idea right now. He reached out timidly and touched the aura that surrounded his left arm. A jolt of electricity ran through his body.

What the heck was that? he wondered to himself. He kept his mouth shut though, from fear of being attacked again or something like that. Pikachu, curious about what the aura was and why it was still around its trainer's body, touched the part of it the surrounded Ash's neck and shoulders. A really strong jolt of electricity ran through its body, causing it to cry out.

"Pikachu!" Ash cried, catching the Pokemon as it fell off of his shoulder in shock. But Pikachu jumped out of his arms the minute it landed. "What is it?" Ash asked it. Pikachu slowly shook its head and backed away. It eventually ran behind Brendan's leg. Ash once again looked down at his hands and arms, along with the rest of his body.

Great, he thought. Now what's going on with me?

"No!" Ash yelled at him. "Don't you think you've caused enough damage for today? Why don't you just leave me alone?!" The aura around him turned to blue flame-like things, making it look as if blue flames surrounded him.

As Archie drew closer to him, the flames grew bigger and brighter, soon drowning out the glow from the sun outside and turning the room blue.

Then, without meaning to, Ash released a large blue ball of fire at Archie. It hit him and knocked him into a wall. He fell to the ground, unconcious.

The flames around Ash turned back into the blue aura, and he started panting, as if he had been wore out by the strange attack that had come from his body. When his breathing finally slowed he stared at Archie.

"W-what did I just do?" he asked, turning to the others with a fearful expression on his face.

Ash was still shocked at what had just happened between him and Archie. He looked at the aura still surrounding his body, and thought about how it had turned to blue flames when he got angry at Archie. Was that how it had happened? Anger? If so, what if he got angry again? What if he accidently hurt one of his friends because he couldn't control it?

Ash's head started hurting from all of the questions buzzing around in it. He glanced around the room, at all of his friends, his Pokemon, Pikachu, and finally, Team Aqua.

When Ash's eyes locked on Abbi, anger started welling up inside of him.

No, he thought to himself. Fight it. Don't let it come out. Abbi may have tried to hurt you and your friends, but still, fight it.

The aura around him suddenly turned to flames again. Ash struggled to keep himself from letting out another strange attack. He knew that if he did, he could possibly kill Abbi. Even though she had almost done that very thing to him numerous times, he didn't want to do it to her.

Finally, he shut his eyes and tried to calm himself, to take the anger away. A sharp pain began to form in his chest, growing stronger and stronger. Ash then realized that was where the attack was coming from. His heart. The aura around him acted accourding to his feelings, anger being the main one.

The pain grew worse and worse, until finally, Ash felt as if he couldn't hold the attack in any longer. All of a sudden, a weird feeling went through his body. Afterward, it felt as if something exploded in his chest, and he suddenly grew weaker.

Pikachu ran over to him and looked up at him, its eyes watering at the realization of what was happening to its trainer. It shared the exact feelings as Ash, and most of the time, it was like it could read his mind. Most of the time, it could sense pain, sadness, anger, or any emotions like that that built up inside of him. Right now, it knew that Ash was in a lot of pain. He had held the attack in and kept it from hurting anyone else, but had hurt himself instead.

Ash looked up at Krade, Alex, William, Brendan and Erik.

"Guys," he said in a shaky voice. "I know you're probably terrified of me right now, but please, you've got to help me."

(Man, this is turning into like, science fiction. And, getting very interesting in the process.)

As Ash looked uncertain but gave a slight nod, alex was ready.

"Roselia...please stand next to Ash but don't tough him......" Alex calmly told her.

"Everyone let's get farther away....Team Aqua can sleep for all I care......" she said as she ran over to a safe area that was a slight distance away. She hoped everyone followed.

"Roselia......use a slight GRasswhistle!" Alex told her pokemon.

"Rose......" Roselia responded sweetly as it oepend its mouth and sang a beautiful tune that sounded lovely but only for ash and Team Aqua to hear. It wasn't long until the attack took affect and Ash began to look tired and ebentually went asleep. Team Aqua had the same symptoms. Some of the grunts were yanwing widely.

"Great job Roselia.....keep going...." she told her pokemon softly.

After two more minutes..........Rolseia did it. Ash and Pikachu were asleep on the ship's deck with team Aqua about to drift away.

Roselia walked back to her trainer. "Ro.....selia!" it said gleefully.

"Great job Roselia............" she smiled telling her partner.

As Ash slept, the aura around him grew weaker and dimmer, as if it were about to go out. Pikachu twitched every other second as dreams invaded its sleep.

The aura turned snow white and grew even dimmer. Eventually, it was so dim you couldn't even tell it was there, thus making it look as if it was gone.

"It seems like a good idea to me," he replied. "I'm not sure there's much else we can do at the moment. And, in anycase, if Aqua attacks, we'll be better prepared and will have a better chance of holding them off."

When Alex gives the signal, I want you to give Ash one of your Psychic attacks. Ok?" he said to it. Dusclops nodded and stared at Brendan for a minute. A few minutes ago, he had told it not to attack Ash. Now he was telling him to hit him with a Psychic attack? What was going on?

"Just make sure you don't hurt him," Brendan whispered to it, breaking its train of thoughts. Dusclops nodded again and faced Ash. "Alright guys, we'd better do it quick. I think he's about to wake up," Brendan called to the others. He looked back down at Ash, who was now stirring restlessly in his sleep. The aura was getting darker and turning back into its dark blue color, meaning he wasn't deep in slumber anymore, and was about to wake up.

"Try to just repel the aura Butterfree! Okay everyone... 1 ... 2....3.....everyone! ..... Use Psychic !!" Alex shouted as Butterfree soared up in the sky and slowly glided down while its red compound eyes became a lovely blue.

It wasn't long before the same blue colout appeared around Ash. It was about to take soem effect.

"Please be safe........." Alex thought to herself with her folded fingers near her rmouth.

Pikachu, on the other hand, snapped awake and stared at Ash, confused. It then looked at William, Brendan, Erik, Krade and Alex.

"Pika pi?"<What's going on?> it asked. It glanced back at Ash, moving restlessly as his deep slumber grew lighter. It watched sadly as the aura around him grew darker, rather than disappear.

Ash finally opened his eyes. Looking around, he realized he was under four Pokemon's Psychic attacks. But, unlike before, it didn't hurt. He couldn't feel it at all. He growled slightly and gritted his teeth when he saw the dark blue aura still surrounding his body.

He and Pikachu, and probably everyone else in the room thought it was weird that he could move inside of the Psychic attack without it having any painful effect on him whatsoever. Ash surveyed the aura around his body closely to see if it was changing at all. Nope. It didn't look like the Psychic attacks were working at all.

Ash thought for a minute. He suddenly felt a course of pain run through his body. As he gritted his teeth from the pain, he caught sight of the aura. It was flickering.

"Hey Pikachu," Ash called to his Pokemon. It looked up at him. "C'mere," Ash said to it. Pikachu slowly walked forward. Ash extended a hand to it. Pikachu hesitantly scurried up his arm to his shoulder. Surprisingly, the Psychic attacks didn't hurt it either.

"Alright. Now, this might sound crazy, but you've got to do something that will cause me physical pain," Ash said to it.

"Pika?" <What?> Pikachu asked.

"Just shock me or something," Ash replied. Pikachu blinked a couple of times.

"Pi?" <Why?> it asked.

"Just do it," Ash answered. "I think I might have figured out how to get rid of the aura." Pikachu stared at Ash for a minute, then did the one thing it knew wouldn't cause too much pain; bit him.

As Pikachu's sharp teeth reluctantly sunk into Ash's arm, the aura began to flicker again. Pikachu released Ash's arm, and looked up at him. Ash looked at the small drop of blood that had formed on his arm, then at the flickering aura.

"Guys," he said, wiping the blood on his jacket. "I think I figured out how to get rid of the aura. This may sound crazy, but the aura reacts to pain and weakness. If I get hurt, it gets weaker. I don't know why it would do that, but that seems to be the only way to get rid of it."

There was a bang at the door, and Ash turned to see a ship's attendent standing in the doorway.

"What are you doing down here?" he asked sternly. "And why are all of you attacking this boy?"

Ash turned back around nervously and looked at the others.

Oh boy, he thought as he bit his lip. How are we going to tell him?

Sir ship attendant before you ask us something see Team Aqua and then when you do something wit them then ask us everything you want but first do something about the Team Aqua then William sees Kuik and say hey Kuik you are late but we already have taken care of Team Aqua haha but we have other problem with Ash he have a black aura and we don’t know what to do he want that Pikachu give him a thundershock but that is too risky I think that and here we have the Team Aqua sleeping and a ship attendant hat want to ask us what we are doing here if we take out all that I tell you this is a normal day

"Butterfree! ....... Use Sleep Powder!"


Alex's Butterfree was very well-trained due to it being the second pokemon that Alex had ever caught since she had got her Bulbasaur a while back. As the pokemon kept on doing Psychic, it flapped its wings in the ship attendant's direction and a green powder began to rush straight for the attendant who suddenly began to get a little sleepy.

"What a day indeed," Alex thought.

"Maybe we should give Ash's idea a whirl.................... in retrospect it makes sense...... if ashi is weaker then it was no energy to strive upon........... so maybe a good Electric attack will weaken Ash's energy and the aura will have to dissipate........."

Alex nlushed as she realised how she was talking.

"Ummmm .... sorry .... my dad is a scientist.....it kinda rubs off on ya...... so Pikachu..."

Alex walked over to the small pokemon.

"If we want to save Ash and get that aura out of him......then a good Electric attack will weaken his energy cells will weaken and that aura will have nothing to strive on.....and will have no choice but to disappear......so .... do you think you can pull of a strong Thundershock? ..... a Thunderbolt might be a tad too strong..... so will you do it Pikachu?" Alex asked the confused Mouse Pokemon.

Pikachu looked scared for a minute; it didn't want to hurt its trainer.

"It's ok Pikachu." The small mouse Pokemon turned around. Ash smiled down at it. "Go ahead. It's ok," he said to it. Pikachu looked around the room. Everyone seemed to be expecting it to do it. It took a deep breath and let out the strongest Thundershock it could muster. It almost stopped when it saw Ash sink to his knees, but the encouraging look Alex and all of the others was giving it made it keep going.

Finally, Ash held up a hand, his way of saying he couldn't take any more. Pikachu stopped abruptly and watched its trainer carefully. With some difficulty, Ash stood up, electricity crackling around his body.

"Well, is it gone?" he asked. Pikachu sadly shook its head. A little spark of hope could be seen in its eyes, though.

"Pika pika pi," <It's really dim, though.> it said. "Pika pika pikachu. Pi...pi pika pika pi," <One more attack should do it. But... I used up almost all of my energy on the last one. You might have to get someone else to do it.> Ash gulped. He didn't know if he could take another attack.

After a moment's thinking, he replied, "Alright. Let's do it."

He then saw Pikachu and Ash talking about something.

Catching on to what they were talking about, Brendan cried, "Ash, that's a little too dangerous. You don't look like you'd be able to survive another attack."

Abbi slowly opened her eyes. Around her, Team Aqua slept peacefully. She then noticed Ash standing in the middle of the room, the dark blue aura still surrounding his body.

"What's going on?" she asked.

"Nothing that isn't probably your fault," Erik snapped back, glaring at her. And it probably was her fault, her and Team Aqua, since it happened after the chip came out.

As Krade reached the deck evryone was shelterd behind what ever they could find. Kade peared over the ledge of the ship and saw the masive red and blue pokemon half way out from under the ship. Go latios! He said throing the ultraball into the air again and the legendary pokemon apeard in a flash of white light. Use hiper beam! Orderd Krade. The ray of blue light hit the water pokemon on the back. Now go ultra ball! Throing the pokeball at the pokemon, then it shook three times but the Kyogre escaped Latios psycick! Orderd Krade again the Kyogre slid out from under the ship and came out of the water and in to the air coverd in a dark blue light. Now let's try again. Go ultraball said krade as he threw another ball at the pokemon but this time, it shook three times but did not escape. Yeah! said krade as he celebrated by punching the air and giving his latios a hug. The black and yellow ball that contained Kyogre flew to Krade who cought it, observed it, and put it in his poket exitedly.

"You're right. Ash..... can you move at our own free will? ................. or are we gonna have to fend off Aqua without you?"

"No, I can move," Ash responded. Glancing out the window, he realized it had grown into the night hours.

That's why I'm so tired, he thought to himself. Taking out all of his Pokeballs, he called out each Pokemon's name and threw them into the air.

"Alright Team Aqua. If you want to get to that Kyogre, you're gonna have to go through all of us to do it," he said as all of his Pokemon came out in front of him. Pikachu leapt off his shoulder and joined in with the others, sparks dancing along its cheeks.

Abbi's Pokemon surrounded her as the other Aqua members released at least two of their own. Archie even called out a few of his Pokemon.

"Be careful," Abbi muttered to everyone. "Ash has that aura thing around him now. There's not telling what that thing will do."

"Other than hit people with balls of blue flames?" Archie asked sarcastically.

"Yes, other than that," Abbi responded. She then turned to her Pokemon. "Alright, all of you! Attack!" All of the Aqua grunts as well as Archie followed suit, and soon there was a barrage of water attacks heading toward the group of young trainers and their Pokemon.

Hey guys I cought it. cool hu? Its super sro...Krade stoped staring at the edge of the battle that had just began. "Nows the time to call up my Latios" Thought Krade. Go Latios! Said Krade. "Latios, Psycick attack! In a glow of blue light, all of the enemies pokemon rose into the air, all coverd by the same blue glow. Nows you're chance to attack guys! He told Ash Ash and the others. "Latios you stay here, you know what to do." I'm going to get Kyogre away from this lot. And just then krade disapeard through the tube-like tunnel.

Erik wasn't sure he liked the idea of attacking defenseless foes, but chivalry would be left for another day.

"Thunder, Luke!" He shouted.Bright yellow lightning bolts shot between Luke and a group of the suspended Pokemon. "Alright, Daisuke, now use Thrash!" The enormous Nidoking gave a ferocious roar, jumping in and pummeling water Pokemon left and right with tail, arms, and head. Erik didn't dare let any of his other Pokemon attack, fearing they would be shocked by Luke.

That's not really fair, Ash thought as he looked at the now helpless Pokemon floating in mid air. But of course, they wouldn't hesitate to attack us if we had that problem.

The aura around him turned dark blue once more as he shouted out commands to his Pokemon.

"Pikachu, Thunderbolt! Grovyle, Leaf Blade! Corphish, Bubblebeam! Swellow, Aerial Ace! Glalie, Ice Beam! Torkoal, Overheat!"

All of the attacks hit their mark, causing many enemy Pokemon to fall down in defeat, even those hit by Torkoal's Overheat attack.

"Let's go..everyone!!" Alex shouted as her pokeballs let out each of the other two pokemon contained inside.


As her Bulbasaur, Grovyle, Butterfree and Roselia were in a line reared to attack, the four streaks of light got in the same line and out appeared Alex's Breloom and MEganium .. one of her longest and faithful companions. She was with her Chikorita and Bulbasaur for a very long while.

"Breloom Mach Punch! Butterfree Psywave! Roselia Magical Leaf! Grovyle Bullet Seed! Bulbasaur Petal Dance Razor Leaf Combo!MEganium fire your Solar Beam!"

The strong attacks targeted Team Aqua's pokemon and left most of the water pokemon with a highly- effective damage!

"All right guys! That's how we do it!" Alex cheered for her fellow companions.

Krade ran to the ships deck and unleashed one of his pokemon." Go Charmander! If any one opens the box I put you in, use ember. OK? the tiny fire pokemon comfirmed with a quik nod. right then, he said as he placed his charmander in the box and then climbed into one himself.

"Keep it up, guys!" Ash called to his Pokemon. He suddenly had a bad headache. At the moment, he couldn't think of anything else to say or do. He shut his eyes tightly to try and think straight. This only made the headache worse.

"Ugh, what's going on now?" he muttered, holding his head in one hand.

Abbi suddenly stopped calling out orders to her Pokemon. Instead, she stopped and found herself staring at Ash. The moment before she had passed out ran through her mind. She knew Ash had wanted to attack her like he had Archie. But he had held it back. After all of those times she had almost killed him, he had passed up the oppurtunity to do so to her. Was it because she was his sister, or because he was a good person, or for some other reason?

"Ketchum!" Archie's voice snapped Abbi out of her trail of thought. She turned around. "Why aren't you attacking?" Archie demanded.

"Sir, if it's not a problem with you, I want to speak to Ash alone," Abbi told him.


"Why would you want that?" Archie asked her.

"I-I just want to talk to him, sir," Abbi answered. Archie thought for a minute.

"Fine. Go ahead," he told her. Abbi nodded. She then took a few steps back, ran forward, and jumped over the barrage of attacks that were being hurled back and forth between Team Aqua and the younf trainers. She landed right in front of Ash.

"Ash, I need to talk to you," she said in a stern voice, grabbing his wrist tightly. "Come with me." She then pulled him across the room, away from the attacks and toward the door behind Team Aqua. Yanking it open, she led him inside, closing the door quietly behind them.

"So, what do you want?" he asked, looking up into Abbi's eyes. He searched for any sign of evil or trickery, but found nothing.

I hope this isn't a trick of some sort, he thought to himself. The aura around him once again turned a light blue, letting his feelings of fear and nervousness show.

Alex kept on battling Archie and his goons' pokemon but realised Ash wasn't where he just was.

She looked around the room but couldn't spot him.

"Guys! where did Ash go?" she asked as she was fending off two Walreins and Swampert.

"Guys! Where did Ash go?" Erik's eyes widened, and he, too, looked around. He couldn't see him anywhere. Then, looking at the enemy ranks, he say that someone there was missing, too.

"I dunno," Erik replied, answering Alex's question, "but I have a feeling Abbi has something to do with it."

Abbi sighed and looked down at Ash. She didn't know how to start. There were so many things she wanted to tell him, but they were all jumbled up, confusing her and making her unsure of what she was about to do. Finally, she took in a deep breath and spoke.

"Ash, do you remember back when we were kids? Before Mom and Dad separated? Back then, I was just like you; sweet, innocent and pure. I had no intentions of becoming what I am today. But, when Dad and I moved away...There's some details I never told you." She paused and bit her lip before continuing. "Dad got involved with Team Aqua and joined them. He took me in with him, and that is why I have been a member since I was young. He became the leader of Team Aqua right before I turned ten, and I never really got to see him anymore. A few years later, he got killed in a mission, and Archie was promoted to team leader. He told me that Dad wanted me to follow in his footsteps and become the next leader of Team Aqua. He also told me horrible things about you and Mom. Horrible things that I now realize aren't true. All of those times I tried to destroy you, I was blinded by Archie's lies. I now realize that I never hated you, or Mom, and I never will." Abbi could feel tears welling up in her eyes as she allowed these things to pour out of her. She had been looking at the floor this whole time. Now, she looked into Ash's eyes. "I'm sorry, Ash. I'm so sorry."

Brendan looked around, wondering where Ash had gone. He saw that Erik and Alex were confused as well. Looking across the room, he realized that Abbi was missing from Team Aqua's side.

"Abbi," he muttered through gritted teeth.

Alex thought she heard something from the other trainer Brendan and looked over at Team Aqua.

Abbi was missing also.

"Abbi's missing too. Look ...... Ash can still battle so if he was in trouble we would definitely know..... let's just deal with these goons........ Meganium.... let's end this battle... we've been practicing it from our Jotho journey till now... let's see if its paid off my friend......aim your Zap Cannon Attack! ..... "


Meganuim's flower was beginning to glow a bright white. It wasn't long before it was fully glowing bright white. Then, it opened its mouth to show a yellow ball of light forming. It was a medium sized ball and it was also starting to spark. Multiple sparks were now surrounding it to show it was a electric sphere of massive electrical energy.


"Gaannnnnnn.....um!!" the large light-green pokemon shouted as it released the Zap Cannon Attack across to Team Aqua ....... the resulting paralysing attack affecting all the Water Pokemon they had released. Multiplwe sparks were forming all around them .. even the goons.

Although he spoke firmly, inside he was falling to pieces. He had never known anything about his father. Everyone had always told him that he had been a great Pokemon trainer. He was, but not in the way Ash had hoped. He clenched his fist and looked at the ground as the aura around him turned a light shade of red.

Abbi took a step back from Ash as the aura around him changed. She took a deep breath and finally answered his question.

"Yes, Ash. I would. Like I said, Archie filled me up with all kinds of lies, and I was stupid enough to believe them. Now that I know the truth, I will gladly resign from Team Aqua," she told him.

(Guess I should control the Aqua people too, huh?)

All of Team Aqua's Pokemon cried out in pain and fell to the ground, seemingly defeated. Team Aqua also fell to the ground.

"Where's Abbi?" Justin whispered to Archie.

"She went to talk to that bratty brother of hers. Hopefully she'll get rid of him while they're back there," Archie answered. He was attempting to stay quiet, but his voice came out loud enough for everyone else to hear.

Ash watched Abbi for a minute, making sure this wasn't any kind of trick. When he found nothing, he smiled and held out a hand.

"Welcome back sis," he said.
