Possible Pokémon For Your Party?

Have you guys thought of any Pokémon that you would like to capture, while playing FR/LG? I've thought of some, and I would really like to capture an Electabuzz, Scyther, and Snorlax, and start off with Squirtle. Past that, I'm going to have to keep on thinking on what other Pokémon to use.

Kind of a weird question because you can still get the same poke's... I'll probably stick with pokemon that are different now like Chansey, Poliwag, Horsea, Porygon, Eevee, and another Eevee. Why? Because you can get evos you couldn't get in red and blue-- such as Blissy, Politoed, Kingdra, Porygon 2, Umbreon, and Espeon, just to put a twist on things, cause now there are more possibilities from all the new pokemon being dumped into the world... :crackup:

I change my mind, I'll do what I used to always do...
Start with Squirtle, catch a nidoran ??? (don't care which gender), catch a pikachu, catch a caterpie or weedle, buy a Magikarp in the pokecenter before mt. moon (it may cost a lot, but it's worth it... I mean you get to bring a magikarp through mt. moon... hello! awesome! ) Then I might catch a jiggly puff or a clafairy, get the fossil, catch maybe a spearow where I caught nidoran, maybe a pidgey, catch an abra and a bellsprout, go to bill look at AWESOME pokes there.. heh heh. then catch a meowth, then go down hill from there... heh heh... oh so fun I frogot... **sigh**

Some of you may not be aware that only R/B/Y pokemon will be in FR/LG. Except for some exclusive G/S/C pokemon on one of the Rainbow Islands, it would be impossible to get pokemon not from the first gen. (Deoxys is in RS though, strange) I think RS can only be traded to FR/LG if the pokemon included for RS are R/B/Y pokemon. Anyway, I would have...

I would definatley want to get a gastly and dratini and evolve them to their final evolution. Then I want a magicarp to evolve and a staryu to evolve. And I don't know what else to get. Oh ya and srtart out with charmander.

Charizard will definitely be in my team, and so will Articuno.
I'll find a dratini, and raise it to an Dragonite.
I would really like to have an Ampharos in my team, but unfortunately that prob. won't be possible :frown: So i'll have to find an replacement for him. (nobody can replace my Amp :neutral:)

Maybe i'll include my old curse-lax to, he rules :cool:
I'll probably catch a Oddish, and raise it to an higly-toxic Vileplume :devious:

And I also want a Gasly (or was it Gastly?:neutral:), to raise into an Gengar, then all I have to do is find someone who doesn't think pokemon is for -12 year old kids :sweat:

I'm amazed. Almost no one wants to start with Bulbasaur for their journey. I really would like to start with Squirtle, and most likely will, but there's always that other part of me who likes to go for underused/underdog/unusual Pokémon. Maybe...

Only way I'd do Bulbasaur is if there was a way to have it with Ancientpower or a good Rock-type attack.

Either way it goes, I pick Bulbasaur if I get Fire Red.
Then Charmander if I get Leaf Green.

Just curious, why do you want your Bulbasaur to have a good rock type attack?

To serve as a defense against Fire, Flying, Ice, and Bug attacks.

Rock= The solution to all of a Grass Pokemon's problems.
