Who gets Torkoal?

I have seen torkoal sighted in many anime appearances. I have never seen one with him in it yet tho. I just wanna know if ash may or brock gets him. Anyone know?

Ash gets Torkoal, and later his Treecko evolves.

Ash does get Torkoal, his Bulbasaur has a few appearances to mingle with May's Bulbasaur, Treecko evolves, rumors that Taillow may be evolving soon, and Ash is on his way to his 6th badge. May's in her 3rd contest in Slateport, she's won 2 out of 3 events with Beautifly and Skitty. May has Beautifly, Skitty, Bulbasaur, and Torchic. No Pokemon for Max, but he was lucky to befriend a Jirachi!
