I saw Kenny made a video so I am making my own series of pokemon related ones..
The first one is hosted on streamload becuase it is so big but is not uploaded yet, so I thought I would host littler ones on youtube like the rest of the world:happy:
Um, if this does not belong in this section feel free to move it but I could not think of a better section with the raido show being posted here as well...

Edit:Also if you guys want to watch them, I started posting a normal video blog on Youtube , I'll be talking about writing advise sometime soon to :)

My first try at making a movie, someone asked me to do more MD based videos. This is one that deals with one of my least favorite things about the game when you are in a dungeon trying to get a client safely to another pokemon. Note: It will not make sense or be funny if you have not played the game and been a fan of it ;)

It's good though, only thing is the video blacks out at times. And heh, I usually use a special tool called "scissors" to open things like that... not a big gigantic kitchen knife like that. XD

And if for some reason I suddenly disappear for a while, you'll know what happened... :P

I have to say I am really hooked on making videos...
So I may be making alot from now on, just untill I run out of stuff to say about pokemon. Gosh, it is so good to be able to talk to others about it, even if it is just over the internet :3! I only have one friend who likes to talk pokemon IRL and he is nowhere near as geeky as me about it...So really, if I make them really fast over the next few days and you guys are like "OMG!" it's only becuase I have had this all bottled up for so long...

Don't you have a tripod or somewhere to stand the camera so it's not so wobbly? And so you can use two hands to do other stuff. I think that would make these nicer.

And because of you showing the DS, I really want one now. It looks so much easier to move with the pointer than pressing buttons. :happy:

My trouble is, I have a tripod (somewhere) but it is a tiny one that does'nt line up well with the tv/DS when I am taking shots...I know I know I could be using a game on my computer like everyone else who takes 100% perfect game pics on Youtube but:
1) That would mean starting over again, AKA sort of a fake game in my eyes and
2) ROMs are evil IMHO.

As for using a tripod I will be trying mine out on a new pokedex like segment, so we will see how it goes, yes?
(Oh and if you want me to show me playing some more touch screen focused games I can ;)

As far as my voice goes I am very soft spoken, but I am use to doing voices and I was in choir for four years....

Haha. That movie was pretty funny. I wonder what will happen next.

The editing frame thing was a little weird but I'm sure you'll become better accustomed to using it. It's kinda boring that they don't move, but I guess it's better than arms/hands in the shot, moving the toys (which I've seen many videos try and horribly succeed at.) Good work.

Yes, I figured the boringness of them not actually moving was not onweighted by how bad a video looks when you move them with your hands :P
And I don't have the tools nor skill for real stop motion animation, so quick shots of them moved a bit when they talk about something new will just have to do..
Even if the edits never get any better I do think my work is a step above most videos like this on Youtube ;). (Not to sound full of myself, it's just that so many videos are soooo boring :( )

Thank you, I filmed a 2nd one yesterday to and just finished editing it :) See the first post...
