Rate Ashes Crew!

Ok....I have watched the Hoenn shows for a while now and found ashes pokemon to be quite good!...what do you think.

Pikachu (Had since episode 1)
Grovyle (evolves to Sceptile in Battle Frontier)
Corphish (evolves to Crawdaunt in Battle Frontier)
Swellow

Corphish does not evolve, and currently resides in oaks lab. His current team is Pikachu and Aipom as he has just left for the D&P region. His team at the end of Battle Frontier was Pikachu, Sceptile, Donphan, Swellow and Corphish

Ash's teams have always been formitable, but thats because he is the star of the show, it would be pretty pathetic if the star lost his matches constantly, don't you think?

Youre kidding right?:eh: Ashes hoenn team pretty much sucks completely besides Sceptile and pikachu. Why else would he bring in his good monsters(Charizard,bulbasaur,squirtle,snorlax,ect. ) for the battle frontier?

It's not too great. Pikachu is alright though... I don't thinK Corpish eveolves hwoever, because the episode I saw yesterday Ash left him at Prof. Oak's lab...

Ratings on a scale of 1 to 10. Lets see...

Pikachu- 3 out of 10 (all pikachu is is pokemons overrated mascot imo, i dont like how they make it seem so kick@$$ in the show :P)
Grovyle- 6 out of 10 (sceptile would probably be 9 out of 10, evolve it)
Corphish- 2 out of 10 (corphish? lol, also evolve it)
Swellow- 7 out of 10 (its nb, swellow is basically the hoenn version of pigeot)
Glalie- 8 out of 10 (best one on that team imo)
Torkoal- 7 out of 10 (meh, also nb)

Overall...eh, about 5.5 out of 10, but if he ever evolves Grovyle, Corphish, and Pikachu (and we all know he'll never evolve the last one :P), then itd probably be about 9.5 out of 10 (cuz raichu owns).

That was only for one episode, other than that, he used the hoenn pokémon + Donphan that he took with him.

I liked Ash's Hoenn League team, but they're not of course unbeatable. I liked Torkoal, Swellow and Pikachu. I was never a Corphish fan and I was relieved when Groyvle finally evolved. Glalie, I think he should have taken to the Battle Frontier and not bothered catching that Aipom.

Let's see:
Evolve Pikachu to Raichu. Pikachu has to swallow its pride and allow to evolve. I wouldn't be this far in Dungeon if I didn't evolve my Pikachu. 7 rate
Grovyle/Sceptile 9 rate, stood up to Hariyama in match 2 I believe.
Corpish/Crawdaunt, unknown. Need to see it evolve. 4 rate, only good for swallowing rope like a dope.
Swellow: 10, especially since it learned Aerial Ace. Glad the show got with it.
Glalie 8 rate.
Torkoal, 5 rate. Too emotional.

Even my RSE/FR/LG and my Dungeon teams could beat Ash quite easily. His Pikachu would be dusted by my Raichu's Dig.

Personally, I dropped the rating of Grovyle when it gets to Sceptile... I don't really like Sceptile... I mean, out of the 3 evolutions, Grovyle looks the coolest. Treecko has hand problems and cannot put it down. Sceptile has blobs of yellow pus:goofy: on his back...:tongue:

Then again, its all subjective. Ash's team in Hoenn is pretty weak if you ask me... I mean...

His party is very versatile, almost no weakness. But then again, his Pokemon are wierdly weak. Why must he keep letting his Pokemon go? C'mon, he had PIDGEOT, CHARIZARD, a gang member SQUIRTLE! But no, he had to throw them to Prof. Oak when he goes into a new region... Oh well~

i reckon that ash's pkmn in hoenn were really bad, i like grovyle, torkoal and pickachu (just because pokemon would be weird without it)

i hate glaie, swellow and donphan.

Ash should've had Ralts, that would've improved his team big time. I thought Ash is supposed to catch 380 Pokemon, yet it seems he only has like 25 (I lost count obviously). But his catch percentage of like 25% pales in comparison to my catch rate of 80% on Dungeon.

Pikachu - Umm...I don't see why Pikachu didn't want to evolve. It would be stronger and still act the same, right?
Grovyle - Well...Not my favorite. Sceptile - My favorite. =D Treeko is my favorite Pokemon followed by Sceptile. Do you pronounce Sceptile =Sep-tie-yle= or the way it looks?
Corphish - Dunno...
Swellow - Erm...Well, it's pretty good.
Glalie - I didn't really get to see Glalie battle a lot.
Torkoal - Too emotional.
Donphan - I like that it still has the same personality as a Phanphy.

what i want is for his Johto Pokemon to come back, he used Heracross, Snorlax, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charizard, and Tarous in the Frontier Battler, but wheres Totodile Bayleef and Cyndaquil? i want them to go with Ash once :sad:

Weirdly, they are all residing in the Pokemon Lab in Pallet town...

Ash is one weird fellow if you ask me. When he challenged the Johto and Hoenn League, he should have kept his strong Pokemon from before. Like Snorlax, Pidgeot, Charizard or even his Muk. But no, he had to use a Corpish...
