Think about it for a second, the facts lead you to believe it's fake too; Hong Kong seller, English version like new..... yeah. Well the release date may be available, but some people might not know that, or might not even know there's a release date yet. And if they do, they must think they're getting a heck of a deal, but when they open up that box and stick that cart into their GBA, they'll get a heck of a suprise.

Bad idea to buy one, like you said, it's a hacked version.

For those that don't know, these games currently on Ebay are just the Japanese version of the game, someone or some group of people translated the game into English. Probably is, it's not official translation, so a lot of things will be different. It's poorly translated, and not the entire game is translated, some are left untranslated. I would never consider buying a bad version of a game like that, not to mention it's illegal.

That can happen, depends on the seller. Otherwise, you'll recieve a bad version of the game as I explained above.

Actually those aren't illegal if you have them. I mean it's not like you know they were hacked or translated, and you have no proof of it anyway. And trust me, you don't have proof, just because people say so, you don't know where they got it. Plus, if they are just sending you the box, then just report it to ebay and get your money back. I mean I'm not going to buy it, but no one has proof they are hacked or poorly translated... These could be fully translated, and I mean if all it is is translated, how much different could the offical one be. Yeah, some of the wording could be changed around a little, but big whoop. I mean most of the early ones were probably not fully translated, but they are most likely now. The only thing I can say is that nintendo could have had some prototype models be stolen, but then again you never know. I'm just saying, don't sound so negative towards them... yeah, they are most likely hacks, but since the seller didn't say they were hacks, you really don't know that they are, so you can't get in trouble for it.

You may not know what they are, but I think you should now what people got when they bought it. It's widely known that the games are indeed poorly (up to your standards of what's considered good) translated and obviously hacked. I received plenty emails from people reporting what these games really are. They're Japanese versions of the game, that's it, translated into English. The game is not fully translated either. Don't give these people too much credit of thinking they stole a prototype model. Some people bought it thinking it was the real deal, some people bought it because they were curious eventhough they knew it wasn't the official English version. The game is not fully translated either.

These sellers on Ebay are claiming to have the English versions of the game, though most I've seen haven't claimed to be "official," just "English" versions of the game.

Yeah, and now that the game has actually come out and we've seen the box art it does look very similar. The only differences is that it doesn't have the thing on it that says it includes the wireless adapter.
