It's been seen that a pokemon's attacks can have adverse effects on terrain in Revolution. Would there possibly be any factors that would result in an effect on the battle mechanics, such as a terrain boost or something that would impede an attack? Discuss.

I highly doubt it. I think they're just going for the whole "realism" thing.
Which I think is still pretty cool.

However, the attack "nature power" may be affected...

Im sure there will be some added bonuses, alot of ground attacks might be affacted, stuff like magnitude and dig
