Pokedex and cheat

I have found the most amazing thing online with the Pokemon maker site. With it, I can use my AR to give me any pokemon and attack -- and it tells you the codes necessary. I want to use it to get the pokemon from Leaf Green and Firered, since I don't have them; and to get a pokemon with an egg move so I don't have to spend all the time breeding. However, when I used the codes, and the pokemon (Bublasaur) appeared in my computer (supposedly caught with a pokeball outside of Petalburg), he didn't show up in the pokedex. I could take him out, battle with him, even get him evolved to an ivysaur with experience; but the game's pokedex did not recognize his presence. Any ideas?

I know some of you are totally against cheats; and that's OK. I just use this because I can't afford to buy every game, the newer GBA systems, etc., but still want to complete a game before starting over.

Im not against cheats, I just dont use them, but thats what cheats do to your game.

This is a known issue when using an AR to get a pokemon into your party. Basically, by forcing the entrance of a pokemon to your computer, it doesn't go through the process to be recognized as a captured pokemon, and be added to your pokedex. However, there are cheats in the AR to make (in this case, Bulbasaur) pokemon appear in your dex, just look for them

2. If you want to get the pokemon in your pokedex, just breed. Duh deh duh.
3. Have a muffin.
4. I'm totally with cheats. They pwn. But the effects are totally negative.
