If I were to save my game before I get stevens beldum, and keep on restarting would I eventually get a shiney beldum? Save then check over and over until its shiney, will that work?

Get ready for a whole lot of resetting!
It's quite possible, but you have a very small chance of obtaining one.
Have you always been here Miravana? I haven't seen you.
[EDIT: Forget what I said, if Beldum was preset, then the legendaries would be too.]

Nooope. Bzzrt. Wrong~
If Lati@s was preset, then why are there shiny sprites? :P Eggs and Beldum aren't preset either. It's all just a matter of chance.

The wild Latias/Latios is preset.
Yeah, I think the Beldum thing is possible, but it's never been proven. But who wants a GREEN Beldum?? O.o
Edit: I think it has. Check serebii.net or something. =P

It doesn't matter if it's a green Beldum. It'll eventually become a silver Metagross. I haven't caught the Beldum in my Sapphire yet, so I guess I can try getting a shiny one, too.

I thunk heez speeking neuwb.
Also, I have heard people talk about resetting for legendaries. You know, they have a black Rayquaza, or whatever. I suppose that Beldum would be the same way. :/ I'd say go for it.

Sure but it'll take a real long time. If it works.

Yeah, it does. I don't see why someone would spend that long hunting for a shiny Pokemon. Of course, there are always bragging rights. Personally, I would interpret "OMG I caught three shiny Feebas!" into "OMG! I have no flippin' life!"
But shinies are definitely cool. ;)

Ok, the reply is yes, you can restart over and over again. You would eventually get the Shiny Beldum.

Lati@s are preset ask anyone, and so are eggs. Trust me ive tried. because or else why would people hatch millions of eggs to get shinys? they could just stop 1 step before it hatches, and walk the step. if its not shiny turn it off. The one thing im not sure about is bedlum though

I thought you *could* reset it over and over before it hatches. Now I'll have to look into this..
Same thing with Lati@s. I thought you could save the game before running into them and reset it until you run into them as shiny for the first time. I'll go flutter around the interweb and look around and mess with egg hatchings, too.

Eggs and the Lati@s that run around Hoenn are preset as soon as you get them. You can't save right before an egg hatches and hope for a shiny, as that is determined when you first get the egg.
Therefore, to breed a shiny you just need to hatch a lot of eggs.
For the Lati@s thing, the shiny Lati@s are available on Eon Island. Only there are they not preset in the game, and you can catch shinies of them.

I hope i'm not spamming but... about the beldum, yes, if u keep restarting u'll geta shiny one
n about the latis... the nature, IVs n the chance of being shiny or not, it's preset once u choose ur lati color in emerald or see the tv report in r/s, so if ur patient enough, save before those events n try to find it, n keep restarting

Ok...here is the deal. You can catch a shiney version of *ANY* pokemon, legendary or not, in the wild. The odd's however, of finding a shiney version of a more commonly found pokemon is 1:8,067...whereas finding a shiney version of a legendary pokemon, a pokemon only acheived through an event, OR a pokemon that can only be caught once (i.e. Sudowoodo), the odds are 1:7,998,550,702

Wow... nice information. But I think it would be better if the "shiney version of a legendary pokemon, a pokemon only acheived through an event, OR a pokemon that can only be caught once (i.e. Sudowoodo), the odds are 1:7,998,550,702" was not told...
Kinda hurts those who are aiming for a Shiny Legendary...

I have been trying for a shiny beldum for quite a while now... it has been a week of non stop resetting and still no sign. Just be prepared for alot of resetting if your going for it.

Yeah, I just had to comment that...
The chance is 1:7998550702... *Morale Crushed*
Eitherways, I believe in one weird theory;
the chances are 50:50! Either you get it, or you don't. Lol... Sorry... trying to cheer people out.

I hope your exaggerateing that number, because it's not true. The chance of getting a shiny beldum is the same as encountering any other shiny pokemon.

I believe Ridley is right. It is a rumor. Afterall, there are people who do not use hacks wielding Black Rayquazas in battle. However, reading that information kinda crushes morale when you want to catch them, doesn't it?
Like if you had resetted over 10000 times and still nothing happened, you would begin to believe the rumor. Lol...

Yeah, breed Beldum with Ditto (another Beldum if R/S) and then keep on hacthing eggs until you get one. It is near impossible to get one, though.
