There are no tricks or advice, Shinies are completely Random. if you want a shiny, just keep encountering Wilds... plain and simple. I have played 500 Hours easy between Saph/Em/FR/LG/D and have seen ONE shiny.

yah it takes time and patience to find one. Play 24/7 and no doubt you may find one.
It took me A LONG time to find one. About a month or two.

You could find 5 Shinies in a row, but the chance of that happening is ridiculously small. You could pay 20,000 hours and never see a Shiny, again VERY small chance.

Some people get lucky and see Shinies quickly... some are still trying to find their first.

Me and a friend take shifts in games with legendaries and uniques to get shinies. We have a shiny rayquaza, regis and a kecleon. Was going to go for kygore and groudon too but they looked ugly.

groudons cool when he's shiny and kyogre. groudons gold and kyogres pink. My cousin has a shiny kyogre and i'm jealous because he has more shinies then me.

1. If you breed a shiny Pokemon with Ditto/somthing else, what hatches from the egg won't be shiny! Well, there's the same 1/8120 chance.

I've seen 2 shinies.
A black zubat which was fully evolved into crobat and I lost the game.
I bought a new game and saw a purple wurmple but had no pokeballs

Dude lets not lie here If you breed a shiny you still have the same chances of getting a shiny as if finding one in the wild

EspeonEX, I am not exactly sure what you meant but...
Basically, your cousin would be unable to hatch 50 Shiny Charmeleons. Not that its impossible, but it is ALMOST impossible. Also, if you didn't know, Shiny Pokemon does not lay shiny eggs, even if BOTH the parents were Shiny.

Therefore, I suggest your forget about your Shiny Eggs from your cousin.

True he needs spelling lessons. Short of Gameshark, there no easy ways to get a shiny. I have played 452 hours on my ruby, emerald, FR, crystal together and never found a shiny, but my friend finds one before the 2nd gym.... depressing (except for my shiny latios that no one believes so i dont know why im mentioning it
