Hi all.

I have briefly searched this forum and it seems that questions like mine are beneath the level of comments here, but I was hoping that someone might take pity on me and be able to come to my assistance (after you stop laughing at my ineptitude).

I am a total newbie. My 8 year old son just purchased Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness for his Gamecube today. While he is familiar with Emerald on his Gameboy, he is new to Gale of Darkness and is trying to figure it out by himself- with my help.

He seems to think that because I am able to help him with many things (math homework, fixing a bike, etc.) that I should be able to help him with this, but alas, I am clueless.

Our initial problem is that he can not quite seem to find his way out of the HQ Lab. If one of you could tell me how, then I could make him a happy camper (which in turn makes me a happy camper and a household hero). Futher, some basic directions on to get going past that would be useful. Specific simple instructions would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help and indulgence.

The doors are hard to see, but you can tell where they are by the light spots in the ground.

From the main characters room, there should be a hallway, follow it into the next room and to the south, there should be a door you can go through.

If you have trouble, feel free to private message me.
