Ok, keep in mind that I'm only on the third gym in Mauville City. I've fought every trainer on every Route so far (only used Skitty... Unless he faitned, then use Combuskin) and all these Batles have made Skitty perty (mispelled on PURPOSE) strong. Anyway...

Yes, and it was in the wrong area, the poster was directed to post the request in this board as Movesets Board does not cover Pre-E4 Assistance

For Delcatty, I would make a CM-BPer:

-Sing
-Calm Mind
-Baton Pass
-filler

I would never agree to a Delcatty/Skitty with THUNDER AND BLIZZARD. Not to mention DOUBLE-EDGE for a self killer. If you want a good moveset, post a post in the MOVESET DISCUSSION section.

Just to clarify that means the Sticky in this board and not the Moveset board. :pirate:

However, that is a suggestion for next time, the thread is already made, so we should continue to help here until Delcatty has the info she needs.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! That moveset stinks!!

BTW is this for competitive battling or for in-game?

Instead of being an ass, how about giving advice on what needs to be changed?

Go to smogon.com. They have good movesets. BTW I'm not an ass.

EDIT: I'm sorry Delcatty1231. I'll stop being an ass.

Being a Normal type, Delcatty has an excellent movepool, but unfortunely its stats are really weak. Thunder Wave is the best thing Delcatty can do, Heal Bell is also pretty good as Delcatty is fairly fast. Double-Edge/Thunderbolt because it needs an attacking move, Wish for healing but Delcatty won't last long, Sing is a good move on Delcatty because it can't survive anything. Charm for slowing down some Pokemon.

Thunder
Blizzard
Double-Edge

Blizzard is not a very good move, at least to move, I like endurance over power so I say go with ice beam. Moves like Thunder are only good for pokemon of the eletric type because of the 2x for being the same type as the attacking pokemon. On other pokemon it is just useless.

I say...
Assist
Heal Bell - Because Double edge takes alot of hp. use after every two times using DE.
Ice Beam - explained above.
Double-Edge

That to me is alot better move set.

I've made some changes and have trained Delcatty all day. THIS is the Delcatty, I have always dreamed about

By my standards, thats a perfect moveset

PS: I use return cuz I maxed his happiness

PSS: Were in Lillycove with only two more badges to go

PSSS: I'm enterring him in contests and nicknaming him Johnny

PSSSS: Sorry about all the spaces

Even though thats not the most effective or normal moveset, I'd go with T-bolt over thunder and ice beam over blizzard. Unless you plan on only using it in contests.

Heal Bell removes conditions, it doesn't change your HP at all.

I just finished my first battle with the new and improved Delcatty (actually, the way i've gotten Delcatty so strong is by taking on EVERY tariner on EVERY route in the game) and they didnt miss one time, plus, Thunder and Blizzard do WAY more damage (I suppose thats why there accuracy is SO low)

I know they seem strong, but once in a while you get into battles and they always miss. Its not fun. :(

Actually Delcatty1231, you are right. They are strong. However, Thunder and Blizzard both have less than 10PP. And their max accurancy is around 70. Thus, I really urge you to do either of this.

Knowing from your previous posts you liked super powerful moves;
Try removing BLIZZARD and replace with RAINDANCE. Rain Dance makes Thunder hits 100% of the time. But nothing helps increase Blizzard's accurancy.

Therefore; Replace Blizzard with Rain Dance.

Next, I know what you meant when you decided to keep Return. Since it is maxed Happiness, the base damage should be 104. Plus the fact that Skitty is Normal typed, you have the STAB(same type attack bonus) boost, amounting the base damage to 156.

Therefore; Keep Return.

I do not understand the use of Facade after having such strong Return attack. However, Delcatty would need a support skill. I am unsure of this, but;
choose between; TOXIC, THUNDERWAVE, WISH or HEALBELL.

I hope I helped, even a little.

I agree, I always take accuracy over power in important battles. Even in game play I actually never use Blizzard, Fire Blast, or Thunder (unless it is with Rain Dance).

Yes, that is soooo like me. Lol.

Um, Hail makes Blizzard's accuracy 100%.

Alright, Hail does BUT.

Skitty gets whacked to death when Hail is on. Agree right?

Um, Hail makes Blizzard's accuracy 100%.

Skitty can't learn hail... Switching in a mon just so that it can use hail, then switching back to skitty would be horribly pointless.

I was just making a point!! I already knew that Skitty can't learn it!
