Mew And Deoxys

Hi All,

I have a full Pokedex and both Mew And Deoxys, but I can't get them to obey me. I have completed all seven islands and beten the elite 4 etc. Everytime I try and battle with either mew or deoxys theigonre me or sleep etc. Is there anyhting special you have to do to get hthem to battle?

I think sometimes if you get them incorrectly, they won't obey you. At least that's what happened to my friend. Otherwise I don't know.

There is a factor associated with them often refered to as the "Loyalty Bit".

The Loyalty Bit can be either "0" (Will not listen) or "1" (Will listen)

If you hack the Pokemon, or get hacked Pokemon traded to you, that Bit will be 0.

If you obtain the Pokemon legitimately, or are traded a legitimate Pokemon, that Bit will be 1.

For your information Iwill pass on a very wise piece of advice i was given a long time ago. Assumption is the mother of all **** ups.

Firstly: I don't own and never have owned a gameshark. I have all of the Pokemon games for the GBA and Game cube and I have finished them all. I got the Mew and Deoxys in a trade. I also live in the UK and there has never ever been any information about "Special events in my country to my knowledge and I have asked Nintendo repeatedly.
Secondly: Having a full pokedex isn't proof of cheating. My pokedex has been completed through hard work and many many hours of playing , breeding and inter trading between versions and where lucky enough trading with friends and other playerswilling to trade. Thirdly: For your info I was posting for emerald not FR or LG. That is the version I have Mew and Deoxys on as it is my primary game source as it was the first game I had that can support the full Pokedex.

So my "friend" I would get you facts straight before bandering around unsupported accusations, if you start that in public and your health will suffer very quickly. Try grtting your facts straight before opening your mouth and putting your foot in it. If the pokemon I have been given in trades have been " hacked" or "cheats" I had no knowledge of it and thats on the conscience of the trainer trading. Actually he came from the states and got his Deoxys in the correct way, he copied it in emerald using the cloning glitch that's why he trades them, any way I also got Jirachi and Celebi from the same source and they play just fine.

If your looking for a reason that people might be forced to do that to complete a Pokedex then look at Nintendo who purposely hold back Pokemon for events that they don't run in all countries they sell in to give peole a chance to complete it. Not everyone is lucky enough to live in a special event country or area.

As for the way I talk, I started playing Pokemon with Red Blue and Yellow and still have my completed games for them, as I have for Silver, Gold, Crystal, Ruby, Saphire, Emerald, Leaf Green and Fire Red all with complted Pokedexs as far as they could be with inter trading.

So please in future get your facts straight beofre accusing people. You never know tyou might meet them when you least expect it. They maybe bigger and better trined than you. Then you will finally wake up to the realisation that not engaing your brain before openin gyour mouth is a very very bad idea.

So stay safe and try and exercise your brain before your vocal cords. Yes I realise you wrote it and not said it but writing is a optical form of speech. Dude relax. You have to admit the way you spoke earlier is of FRLG tone.

Also, if you have the full Pokedex, good for you. You do not have to reply to other people's quote if you don't like it.

Lastly; my advice is, trade your Mew/Deoxys back to the OT. See if the trainer can make it listen to him. If he cans, maybe you try trading it to your version of Emerald and move on from there. Good Luck.

For some reason, Nintendo only put the disobey thing on Mew and Deoxys. I'm not saying you cheated, but if the Pokemon won't obey you, there really is only one explanation, and that is that they're not official and were most likely obtained from a cheating device.

And if this is the case, there is no way to get them to obey you.

Personal thought: Before commented on someone else's spelling and grammer because you missed a few commas, and mispelled quite a few things.

I would highlight the obvious stuff but gauging from the response I quoted that might not go over so well.

The person was trying to help, when a situation like that occurs most likely it's a hacking result. You said "completed all seven islands and beten the elite 4 etc." That statement alone implies a Fire Red, Leaf Green.

So it's probably a a result of the cloning. If not I have no idea, just keep in mind people are trying to help, so before wasting all those characters on nothing exercise the brain.

Alright, let's all stop commenting on methods of typing. Eitherways, I believe this mystery is solved.

The Mew/Deoxys was sharked, as in, it was obtained through a hack.

I believe the remedy for this is;
Hack the Island Tickets; Old Sea Chart and Mystic... Aurora...? Argh, hack the Ticket. And use it. Capture Deoxys/Mew with your own Pokeball. Everything should be fine.

Someone else could test this. I don't shark/hack whatever. So I wouldn't know. Sorry.:oops:

Dude, I know you used Gameshark to hack Mew and Deoxys, but now it seems.......it seems you just hacked yourself. Gosh...
I think it says "Not to be used on people or animals" on the box Gameshark comes in. You'd be surprised what some people are willing to do these days...
